  1. It is to an extent in general although Ipswich's plan to have 5 meetings through the school holidays with 1 reserved date seemed the right call to me (1 was a rearrangement anyway) Dont think you wouldve reasonably expected 2 consecutive call offs in August (and hopefully wont be anyway)
  2. Im gutted I will miss Drew's debut Hope its on despite not being able to be there - cant afford any more rains offs before the cut off
  3. Its a joke that his 4+ average is available for a replacement for Clegg having come in on a 3 and scored less that that in just a handful of meetings
  4. Is the transfer window/deadline being covered live on BT - could be an exciting last few hours
  5. With international race night priority I thought full guests would be allowed It may be that priority only applies to the extraliga on Sundays and therefore no facility if not riding in that top division
  6. Its usually a different 4 letter word ending in nt that you call me Baldy
  7. Poland has priority on Sunday therefore FULL facilities will be available if required IF you end up with NL guests it will be through choice rather than any regulatory block
  8. In this case you have Riss who started the season with neither side and the further issue of rearranged fixtures and reserved dates!
  9. Its a reserved date in our calender so we should still have priority Whether that happens who knows
  10. I understand the showground is now in need of additional clay input which is causing some issues A suitable supply at the right price doesnt appear to be available....
  11. As much as it could benefit us I fully agree Baldy I wouldnt want to qualify just because others hadnt been given a fair chance to complete their fixtures
  12. Wallinger replaced the injured and out for the season Hume as a temporary measure until Drew Kemp is introduced after his 16th birthday - 11th August (1 day before the cut off)
  13. Perhaps the Lynn fans gave him a purple lollipop - refs love them and can respond with these decisions as a thank you
  14. For those of us too young to have seen him race but that have a care for the sports history Ronnie Moore is one of the true icons Best wishes to him and his family
  15. It was very much about home form We were in the situation where Danyon and Connor were averaging a very similar total (just under 4) but with home and away form in complete contrast Connor 2.5 at home and over 4 away Danyon 4.5 at home and under 2 away With Danyon out and his replacement unlikely to score home or away Garcia was seen as a more solid option at Foxhall to protect vital home wins This so far he has done (and few wouldve been confident Connor wouldve scored as Coty did) so I would say it has justified the decision
  16. Rain expected 11-3 and 5-7 then a dry evening (accuweather) So long as the rain isnt monsoon like that should mean all systems go Fingers crossed
  17. That was the KOCup J Re the OP - would expect some more news around the last week of September
  18. You not seen much of col's posting icicle? That one was one of the more eloquent
  19. Too young to have any significant memories of him but one of the long list of local riders that made the club at ipswich what it was as it established itself Perhaps overshadowed by those higher profile stars but still every bit a part of a team - the type of rider that was (and still is) vital to making speedway work
