  1. Danny very unlikely to ride again this season https://ipswichwitches.co/no-immediate-return-for-king/
  2. Its not that unusual for riders to book short breaks like this - who can blame them its a tough regime for the top boys. Its rarely happens that late changes like this cause problems
  3. Consistent decisions at least - very much the same reasoning as Jacobs in the past
  4. That would be about 2.7 in Prem Isnt that still above Smith?
  5. Poole are starting to produce what was expected from the start of the season and now look to be in pole position to not only reach the play offs but dictate the way they are shaped by finishing top
  6. You may find the post boring but it was the truth Poor meeting - little worthwhile racing/passing
  7. Nah - Im more than happy with the point Ive made I'll leave you to your fantasy world of attracting back the stars with the shirt buttons available
  8. The granting of said facility would be the breaking of the rules Going back to my previous example of a team wanting to track a team totalling 42.51 - if the MC were to sanction it would you regard that as not breaking the rules? How about a double change using the combined average of the 2 riders rather than coming back under the limit. Thats not within the rules but hey lets just get the MC to sanction it..... problem solved
  9. None yet and none if Josh rides at Leicester None if he rides in Poland and a no facility guest is used None if he rides in Poland and a full facilty is used but Josh is given a 28 day ban Only if he rides in Poland Poole use a full facility and no further action is taken are any rules broken
  10. Isnt the addition at home 5% (actually I see your calculation is 5%) However I dont think it applies to reserves
  11. Poole of course have had control of the situation by choosing to sign and retain a rider on a Polish licence - just the same as where clubs have had to deal with the Denmark situation The regs re any facility or not should therefore be followed - to not do so is just plain wrong What next - a club wants to sign a rider but it takes them to 42.51. Should that club just say "Dont penalise us - he wasnt riding for us when he scored those points so it was outside our control" Sounds ridiculous? Yes it does - but ignore one regulation and where does it stop......
  12. The customer buying the steak (top riders) in my example is the restuarant (club) There isnt the money for it to be on the menu regardless as diner demand is too low Even if you lose those that will only eat steak the restaurant can no longer provide it
  13. I think you are deliberately ignoring the underlying point in my analogy.....
  14. There is no 'ride under protest' option The decision has to be made before and is then final according to the regs Mind you if you can ignore one reg then why not another and then another Eventually why bother at all....
  15. Any meat eater would likely prefer the finest fillet steak but if its £50 and you only have a fiver then you have to choose a burger or give up beef For a while some vouchers (sky money) or friendly charities (wealthy sponsors/owners) may allow the steak to be ordered Some would then choose option 1 and some will choose option 2 but either way if theres only £5 available eventually the steak cant be on the menu
  16. Hasnt his average risen by nearly a point? Not as much as perhaps hoped or expected but certainly a lot better than a number of others have managed....
  17. As has been pointed out Im totally neutral so no reason to be 'scared' as the result is irrelevant - there is much more at stake here I do have a care for British Speedway and if it were agreed to let Josh G ride in Poland and then compound that by granting a facility we may as well pack it all up and turn off the lights
  18. Licence is an irrelevant smokescreen International calender priority ti Britain
  19. Some would say that is an interesting insight into the Poole mindset towards rules and regulations - I however will just highlight it and reserve judgement
