  1. Unless the regs have changed Stewart as a non brit would be on a min 4 average
  2. If so it may work the same way as rider transfer by stage payment - payment stops and ownership reverts back....
  3. That was certainly the reg in 2018 but I havent seen it confirmed anywhere as to which figure applies in 2019 If the new conversion isnt applied then reducing doubling will be less effective as the increasing conversion rate will never apply to any rider remaining in both leagues every year It would then mean they are not affected until they retire which surely defeats the object
  4. Each side will host a round of the British Youth Championships too
  5. I would hope thats exactly the sort of thing the powers that be would welcome if done properly Perhaps its something they should already be doing.....
  6. Until there is any action that suggests otherwise I'm happy to take the positives from the situation We have all 3 teams in the same league and at the current highest level - 2019 could be a great year and one to remember for all the right reasons
  7. I think its understandable for fans of all 3 clubs to have some reservations about the situation but until any actions prove otherwise then I am happy to take the positives for all parties The league structure has been stabilised The Witches are in the league that in 2019 best suits them Peterboroughs future is extended Kings Lynn fans get to feel all superior for a while (temporarily of course )
  8. http://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/news.php?extend.35815 Thanks Buster
  9. League leaders straight to the semi final stage with next next 6 into quarter finals
  10. This is a point I also raised and I agree that resetting the conversion straight away would work in reducing yhe numbers It may be just a bit more drastic than could be coped with over 1 winter though
  11. A pitiful 38 limit you say Gazc yet you didnt use .82 of it
  12. Probably at this time Bacon was one of if not the most improved riders in the Championship in 2018 - a great shame he ended up on the injured list Given that Id say he would be better in the 2nd tier again next year but if he comes back strong after the injury could well be capable of a breakthrough to the next level
  13. Perhaps they are fed up with burgers and fancy some steak so to speak
  14. So has the non Brit min 4 average rule been scrapped as well then.....
  15. I would suggest quizzes as a solution to the Chris Harris funding gap but by his own admission he isnt smarter than a 10 year old
  16. In Zagar and Harris you have named 2 riders that traditionally asked for large guarantees and have gone missing when they have a bit of a strop so I would be wary of signing either
  17. Not sure on that front New era , new challenge , new faces for me Id like to see no more than 3 riders that have worn the Witch before You would still have the core identity but should get a real fresh feel and buzz The problem with bringing back Jarek , Hans etc is that the memory is still there as to why we dropped out in the first place
  18. That goes against a post made by Neil Watson on another thread where he says assessed averages still allowed just that min in Prem will be 3 IE Drew may be a 2 in Championship but would have to be a 3 in Premiership
  19. With the reworking of the conversion ratio will there be a reset of averages for doubling down (note this is the wording now used and not doubling up) Will old Championship averages be abandoned for those who currently have both? That combined with the reduction to a 38 point team total in the Championship would go a long way to reducing the number involved
