SCB statement re Ged now published. Fine matches the monies received. Free admission to first 2018 fixture. -
I was thinking beyond just my own club. It could be Redcar going to Friday It could be Somerset going to Monday It could be Poole going to Thursday

Sing it together.... Now Ive had the time of my life - and I owe it all to you.... -
I think race seniority has to be a thing of the past if the new structure comes inHas to be equal share of priority going forward Particularly if a club was switching nights to be in a certain league it would then be doubly unfair to disadvantage them further

Hopefully there is also agreement over race night priority. I dont think a club having to move night to be in a particular league should further lose out. Eg Redcar stay in tier 2 and cant remain on a Thursday. Whatever the new night they chose I think there shouldnt be a pecking order and instead an equal share priority be in place. -

Swedens top league is and always has been Tuesdays. Are you suggesting tgat to accomodate a restructure in the British Leagues that they should relinquish that? -

I would expect it will go towards funding development of young riders and costs of running the national team at u21 and senior level. -
If the top league goes to 12 teams and the second tier becomes a hybrid of Champ/NL then that would likely be a strong team in a revised second tier.

As is the level of the fine. If both are £45k as rumoured then both payment and fine are staggering IMO. I do believe Ged felt giving permission was the lesser of 2 evils. The possible inducement received muddied the waters. Ultimately Holder shouldve been told ride or be banned. Put the choice in his hands knowing he would be dropping Boro and Poole in it if he went to Poland. If he still went then so be it. You then deal with it as best you can. Its the same with any situation of coercion or blackmail - once you give in the first time they have you and you are in someway complicit going forward. -

you cant work like that.If a promoter thinks he can get away with something or the punishment will be minimal because he cries 'it could close us down' then thats exactly what he will do. -
You contradict yourself with this comment. If the league increases to 10-12 clubs the last thing a 45 point limit would do is give all clubs a fair chance.

Although he was wrong to take the stance he did I do actually have some sympathy for Ged. He said the deal struck suited all parties involved yet he seems to be the only one of the 4 to be hit. -

another little nuance... Presumably Cam can replace Bates for Leicester as his Premiership average is 5.25 whilst Bates is 5.52 However if priority was reversed then Sheffield as a championship club would not be able to use Cam for Bates 6.55 (6.8 home) with Cam on 6.93 -
