Apparently an average cap for those without an existing Champ figure has been introduced preventing a limited number of riders (one of which is Scott) dropping down.

Dont know as not aware of where the cut off set or who else may want to d/u that hasnt already got a Champ average Edit There may be more than 1 other. I may have taken 'it only affects a couple of riders' too literally

Ive heard the same - preventing Nicholls d/u too as he had wanted to.

Perhaps there is an agenda that someone has... As I understand it only affects 1 other rider other than Scott so seems to fall in a similar category as the Prem 1 over 8 rule.

Unfortunately I think the jealousy will only build. I hope you guys can let it flow over and enjoy what you have - a forward thinking proactive promotion that wants to redefine how to do things and show the ways that others should follow. Speedway needs more like this if it is to re-establish itself and get back to any kind of 'glory days' as a whole. I still hope you finish 2nd to Ipswich mind 👍
