  1. Then sooner rather tgan later you will get this - Rider 1 in gate 2 jumps and so gets out in front of Rider 2 off gate 1 (the ref will exclude Rider 1 at the end) A - Rider 1 clamps Rider 2 on the kerb allowing his partner Rider 3 to run round the outside and win. Or B - Rider 2 tries to pass Rider 1 and causes him to fall and is excluded. Is Rider 2 reinstated as Rider 1 should already have been excluded or do both exclusions stand? Post race amendments would far worse than the current frustrations IMO.
  2. Its cheating and shouldnt be allowed. However to get the decision right it needs the right technology - transponders etc and an immediate link to the ref
  3. Its not a ban. Its a health issue. Standard guideline is that you should not return to work until at least 48 hours after sypmtoms cease in order to avoid the risk of cross infection.
  4. I do tend to agree actually. A working PA used efficiently to keep the fans informed should be a basic that is never missing. Perhaps its because the section I sit in at Foxhall is a PA 'blindspot' that Im now used to having no reliance on any announcements.
  5. The options are far from limitless.Make it part of the enjoyment - debate with your mates whom may go where and see if you get it right etc Glass half full rather than glass half empty 👍
  6. yeah you will need a guest each week to make it realistic 😆
  7. Surely a draw is the least likely result statisticslly so correctly predicting one should actually gain extra bonus points BTW I dont want to play ☺
  8. Thank you. Interestingly the score from the Tigers top 2 (Nicholls and RR) was 21 and is the highest combined return from those positions of any of the 4 Foxhall visits this year.
  9. There has been an almost universal great attitude through the team IMO (personally I would also highlight Connor for his calm and mature reaction to the team change situation) Given the injuries we have endured from start to finish it is a great credit to have been as competitive as we have right to the end.
  10. Boro are the in form team They must be favourites for the cup now 😩
  11. Unless the forecast hurricane/rain means Tuesday cant go ahead. Then gawd knows when the final might be... much smaller but still healthy by modern standards - around 2000 would be my estimate
  12. Whilst much lower than the grand final the Kocup semi final at Ipswich v Sheffield still attracted about 2000 Very encouraging
  13. I can see S47s point - I said I wouldnt attend a meeting with Jack Holder riding in it until the situation was dealt with and I didnt. But I do agree that at some point you have to move on. If it is a final with Pboro then to continue my stance would really be just cutting off my nose to spite my face. The ruling has been made now and whether you are on the side that thinks its harsh or the side that thinks it didnt go far enough (to include sanction for Holder) lets just get on and enjoy some speedway. I do hope though that I have the problem of working out if a trip to Glasgow is feasible within my work schedule ☺
  14. Yeah Cam was right in the frame too. The clincer was where as you part expected Cam to have a season like he has Nathan has come in and done a job no one expected. Its not just his scoring that made the difference though - it has been his attitude and tenacity. He has been battered about (man and machine) and just got up got back on and done the job. Thats what fans want to see.
  15. Agree with that but I would get rid of the promotion/relegation rather than the parachuting in to chosen leagues
