  1. Ive not seen even 1 post 'revelling' in the siuation. I also dont think anyone sees the club or fans as 'acceptable collateral damage'. If Boro were to close as a result of this it would be a lamentable situation.
  2. How many does he need - what dates are planned for the final? 😜 I am being a little flippant about it - I can understand the position of those questioning the facility. I wouldnt be so one eyed as to ignore the fact that my team could be as capable as any of playing the system. To date however there seems to have been nothing but consistent statements from the rider himself saying he is not fit and he has no reason to do Ipswich any favours given the deadline fiasco.
  3. Look at his website - still says he is injured but hopes the extra 2 weeks rest will be just enough to be right to take his place in the GP 😀😆 And it wont be RR - FIM duty means we can have a guest next week 😛
  4. So quite a number saying any punishment should be lessened if it would lead to Boro closing and that scenario should be taken into account. But many of those same number saying if Horton were to return then they wouldnt go. If Boro then closed it would be down to those making the decision not to go. Pot/kettle -if you dont believe you should follow through those decisions that could lead to closure.....
  5. well if he hasnt been injured he has been withholding his services.... Rather like the previous 2 months or so whilst he was still riding...
  6. Also gives Kyle and Rory extra time to get fit. And if our GP star is fit to ride in the showpiece event I think that means a guest will be allowed rather than rr.....
  7. He didnt see the track staff with shovels working on 20m of track whenever Boro were on gate 4 either so no surprise really....
  8. much better than some with many years experience 😀
  9. Cam can only even have a chance to make the GP by entering the main Aussie Champs. For a rider from WA this is a huge additional expense. So far he has prioritised his finances preparing for the next British season. He is now really back to where he was after season 3. To a great extent it has then been the serious wrist injuries that has held him back rather than racing talent. A more disciplined approach to machinery maintenance has no doubt also helped.
  10. As ever there seems to be be more smoke and mirrors than in a travelling fairs fun house (And thats speedway generally not just Boro)
  11. If that is the case and upwards of £40k has been needed just to get the Panthers from August to the end of the season then the set up isnt viable within whatever the current business plan is. Whether its Ged or someone else they will need to look for a diferent way in the future.
  12. Dropping the clutch before the magnet release is an infringement even where the rider does not touch the tapes. Gaining the split second ahead of human reaction times by anticipation is an unfair advantage gained
  13. Which equals a total farce IMO Absolutely and all taking at least as much time as and causing delay as the the re-start scenarios.
  14. Then sooner rather tgan later you will get this - Rider 1 in gate 2 jumps and so gets out in front of Rider 2 off gate 1 (the ref will exclude Rider 1 at the end) A - Rider 1 clamps Rider 2 on the kerb allowing his partner Rider 3 to run round the outside and win. Or B - Rider 2 tries to pass Rider 1 and causes him to fall and is excluded. Is Rider 2 reinstated as Rider 1 should already have been excluded or do both exclusions stand? Post race amendments would far worse than the current frustrations IMO.
  15. Its cheating and shouldnt be allowed. However to get the decision right it needs the right technology - transponders etc and an immediate link to the ref
  16. Its not a ban. Its a health issue. Standard guideline is that you should not return to work until at least 48 hours after sypmtoms cease in order to avoid the risk of cross infection.
  17. I do tend to agree actually. A working PA used efficiently to keep the fans informed should be a basic that is never missing. Perhaps its because the section I sit in at Foxhall is a PA 'blindspot' that Im now used to having no reliance on any announcements.
  18. The options are far from limitless.Make it part of the enjoyment - debate with your mates whom may go where and see if you get it right etc Glass half full rather than glass half empty 👍
