The Ipswich Speedway Ltd that mick refers to is the original company from all those decades ago when the track was first built. It has no link to the current speedway club. The stadium is now effectively owned under long term lease by Spedeworth. They have control and receive all revenues as a result. The fact the land freeholder may still remain as the original Ipswich Speedway Ltd is rather irrelevant to the club now.

the thing is that you may think it needs looking at but a significant majority of people (promoters and supporters) are in favour of the play offs.So if it is 'looked at' the decision would be a foregone conclusion to keep them.
