  1. Dryml will up his ave IMO. 10 at home 7 away would be my guess - 8.5 overall. Decent signing and a very good team overall.
  2. Lindgren and Kerr Doolan and Bjerre Howarth and Harrison
  3. Barker and Heeps Tungate and Risager Cook and Sneddon Worrall and Kerr Doyle and Josh G Lawson and Bach
  4. shouldnt be a problem given he hasnt applied/renewed in the last 12 months......unless some other obscure rule crops up!
  5. Great to see Leigh sorted. Solid ultra professional and a great team man. All the best mate! The return of Tay much less expected. Terrible luck with injuries but if he can come back without being troubled by them then he could be a bargain signing. I think Bruv still has the Chuggington scooter all set up and ready to go if you need it!
  6. Lets see who the new team manager is and then it may get moving again.
  7. Re the Brum/WK tennis match - you are both right!! In the EL the racers are in general better(faster) but in the PL the races are often better(closer) Both can be/are great. Enjoy them for what they are - the same but different!
  8. So that seems to make Blackbird an Ipswich asset ( as is the other Boro reserve) Quite ironic then that they will both ride against the Witches on Good Friday whilst our own reserve will be elsewhere with his parent club!
  9. Im sure that was his final rolling average. He may qualify for a reduction as he has missed a whole season.
  10. Looks like we wont be seeing Bjarne or Bridger for a start so not all bad!
  11. That Matt Ford is a genius - now he can even hack the Sky Sports website to leak the news!!(and delete it again) (tongue in cheek sarcastic smiley not available on phone)
  12. I think they just havent updated from last years set up.
  13. Whilst I agree with the new changes givubg priority to clubs using their own assets I would temper you arguement re the split of assets. The EL have had a distinct advantage in gathering assets in that they can sign and claim a rider without him turning out for them. A few on your list fit that category and you could say that without the other leagues that there would be no way these would ever develop to a point where they are usable. In summary Id say that there has to be at least 2 tiers and they need to work in unison to ensure a clear opportunity of progression. FWIW despite my team being adversely affected (Ipswich -Worrall/Ellis) I think the changes are the fairest solution to a difficult problem.
  14. Was surprised to see Cam Heeps listed as I thought his wrist was still in a cast and due to be be so for a little longer. If he is riding I hope he isnt doing more harm than good.
  15. Will the newbie even know if the teams are missing any of their normal riders though and if they do will they be bothered? It will be the regulars that will be narked by it. Agree it will be a shame if Adam misses so many meetings especially as his PL rides may well be against tougher opposition compared to his EL draft rides!
  16. You may well be right re Adam as this is certainly the case re the 'normal' double up positions. That said there has been nothing official yet as to whether the same guidelines apply to the draft riders.
  17. Praise the lord the blindman can see!! Miracles do happen after all. Just not big enough ones for Brady to be a 3!
  18. Lots of threads mentioning that the fixtures will be released at 9am tomorrow. Which fixtures are the ones you most look forward to? For me this year it will be the return of the battles with the Panthers.
  19. Paranoia!! A Brit can be signed by an EL club as an asset without the requirement to ride a minimum number of meetings. Eg Adam Ellis - Lakeside. This is no longer applicable to non Brit riders so it depends whether Brady is accepted as a Brit as to whether it is a possibilty in this case. not by you though I take it!
  20. Not sure about for free but if you had all the kids on your own after a few weeks youd look old enough to qualify for an OAP concession!!
  21. Probably too diplomatic!! I tend to try to look for the positive. No point dwelling on and being negative about some matters especially those that you have little or no influence over.
  22. The positive if there is any in a stuation such as this is that it is being sorted now in January and not in March or worse in mid season. Whatever the rights and wrongs and whatever side you may take now come the action all in the camp and on the terraces need to be pulling in the same direction.
  23. would rather have the cash - make it 5th prize in place of the ice cream voucher!
  24. There is a big difference between using youre ISA allowance and rules which enable multi millionaires to pay less tax than someone on minimum wage.
