  1. Bjarne is easy to calculate as it is just this year's meetings that count but with Scott you need to know which scores are dropping off too He may score 4 but his average will rise if a 3 drops off or he could score 10 and it fall with 7 dropping off
  2. Surely the "in the interests of speedway" rule overrides any other option stated so far..... It is used in many unacceptable ways so why not use it when it would be sensible to do so
  3. It is l utter madness (even given the late start) that despite only 10 home league meetings for each team we are talking about how to fit in play off matches in October.....
  4. So if Lynn want to drop they won't allow it? Lynn then stick up two fingers and close Fantastic stewardship of the sport again....
  5. Never underestimate the power of a dose of Hawkinsitis.....
  6. General rule of thumb for deciding what is the correct answer..... Ask Charlieboys opinion and assume the opposite
  7. I think most of the Witches would favour the Showground over Foxhall so should mean a closer contest (if they want it) Could be Crump's swansong in British top flight Speedway - perhaps the most fitting place for it to end??
  8. Or rules don't apply to Poole and Sheffield or they make up new ones and somehow get others to agree There must be some tasty compromising photos in certain people's possession
  9. No incentive for Sheffield to agree to any date then...
  10. You can't sign someone before and not redeclare until after the cut off date Any new signing made prior to the cut off would have to have been in the declared 7 for Thursdays meeting however clandestine the communication was!
  11. You're my favourite worst nightmare by Arctic Monkeys seems appropriate
  12. I've decided to become a Panthers fan for the play offs
  13. As much stick as Cam got for his early form (and yes I agree he didn't quite look on it) at the time of his injury he was only 2 race points short of matching his average Post injury he was for a spell quite frankly dire. I think he probably shouldn't have been riding in truth. More recently though he has shown some signs of better form Wouldn't be shocked at all to see him back

  15. Indeed but scoring well in the play offs will be win win for him. He will increase his income , he will not increase his average and it will encourage potential employers he is worth offering a place next year.....
  16. Let's hope there are far greater changes required and we see a complete revamp of the league structure and not just tinkering If there are still only 6 teams and more of the same as this season then it will be a disaster and a continued decline to the end for the sport
  17. Already in the play offs and Batch taking his chance to lower his average in the meetings that count towards it. Come the playoffs where the scores don't count I think you will see a different outcome..... Ben Cook can't replace Neilsen - Stefan is a 3 point rider and Cook would be 4. I know yoy struggle with these concepts but I don't think even Sheffield could get away with that one
