Maybe unfair to compare with riders who rode most/all season so 16/18 matches but his av per ride was above riders such as Riss/Nilsson/Kvech/Mads Hansen/Becker/Bangs/Miedzinski/Lindback/Gala' Those mentioned all look a cut above Starke and Rew outperformed them (albeit over fewer meetings)

Indeed - the cheating for 2023 started in 2022 with the decision not to include the final meetings in the rolling averages They were full league meetings which fed into the final league table (albeit pointless given they were after the play offs!) ans should've been included

Any pensioner receiving JUST the state pension isn't going to be attending speedway even it was £5 let alone £16 instead of £20
