  1. your point is what?? He has had a bad injury and lack of track time means he is scoring low and probably lacking in confidence. Matt Ford doesnt have the patience to see if he can turn it around, which has always been the case and is part of the reason Poole have been successful. But with Klindt out looking long term and Holder now injured things are getting tricky
  2. Think everyone knew this was coming. Poole have been carrying Newman since he came back and Matt Ford is ruthless when it comes to making changes. He wants to win the league and we all know that sentiment doesnt win you trophies. Shame as he is a Brit and the more races he has the better for my own club as well. But as i say Poole havent won league titles by being soft and riders get moved on if they arent performing
  3. Why would we have Lambert in reserve? He is the second best brit he needs to be in the team
  4. No im good thanks. This Mr Nobody / Sniffy is quite a sad and pathetic creature. Never comments on the speedway itself and prefers a slanging match. Wouldnt mind but it wasnt me that started off about Poole going away
  5. Im sure Team GB will be Cook, Lambert, King, Steve Worrall.................unless someone has a stonking British Final If the reserve is an Under 21 then it will go to Josh Bates or Dan Bewley
  6. do yourself a favour moron and shut your trap. your name suits you...mr effing nobody, probably a 12 year old schoolboy. for what its worth have a little look as it wasn't me who first suggested Poole don't travel to away matches. Go on have a little look or does someone with your intellect not have the capabililty. t0sser
  7. Not a chance with your current 1-7, scrapped a win at home and thumped away..............maybe you could get Tai in.........he goes well at Wolves Is that the same Swindon team that beat you over 2 legs recently??
  8. lol nope. to get to a match i have to leave work early and it takes me over an hour usually in crap traffic. Then £16 to get in £2.50 for a programme, food (burger and lucozade cost me £5!!) ad in fuel and ive done £40! Plus not seeing my children and im prepared to give a few matches a miss
  9. Poole rarely get many travelling fans go to away matches. As Shovvy said there was 2 last night To be fair to Starman Poole are an attraction when they go to away matches. They just dont take visiting fans. I have to pick and choose the Ipswich matches i go to. I went to the home match v Edinburgh the other night but i wont be going next week v Berwick. Im sure that other fans are the same. If your team is at home and you can only go sometimes you would try and go when Poole are there rather then say Leicester. Im sure if clubs look at their attendances they get bigger crowds when Poole are there.................not because Poole fans travel because they dont
  10. Poole fans can now see what they need which is a top quality number one. Poole have been quite lucky recently in meeting teams at the right time and getting good guests. Leicester , had a weakened team, Wolves were without Lindgren (balanced up by Klindt not riding), then got 2 guests who scored a lot more then the riders they were replacing at Belle Vue, still i guess that luck evens out over a season. I suppose Belle Vue fans can take heart that if they met the current Poole 1-7 (Zengota & Klindt) then they would have won the meeting with a possible 10 point swing. lol if you were at full strength last night you would have got beat as there is no way Zengota and Klindt would have got the 20 points the replacements got. It was a good job you wasnt at full strength. You rode at home against Wolves and scrapped a 2 point win when both teams had 1 rider missing that evened it up. Over 2 legs Wolves would destroy Poole. The fact remains that the current Poole 1-7 will get in the top 4 but are not a title winning side......you are missing a number one, Newman is poor and Shanes is struggling.
  11. lol and still Shovlar tried to tell everyone was wrong about Bates! To start with he had 5 rides and in those 5 rides scored more than Klindt ever has at the NSS!!! But yet in your weird little mind you think you missed Klindt!!! And you say Batch surprised you!?? Everyone knows he goes well at the NSS apart from you!!! Batch and Bates get paid for 20 no way would Klindt and Zengota got that!!! You are very very strange!
  12. we all know what a fool Shovlar is and he is the gift that keeps on giving! Batchelor outscoring Zengota and Bates in 3 rides managed what Klindt did in 7 lol. Yet I bet you he comes on here and says it was a 'win against the odds'.
  13. they just updated it. Good job Poole have Batch tonight. Newman and Shanes surely there time is up
  14. Can anybody tell me why Shanes is in heat 8? Is Bates injured?
  15. Poole should be more than capable of getting a point....... a better side than Somerset who won there
  16. Please say how he is a foolish idiot regarding this matter?? Is Klindt poor at the NSS Is Bates better at the NSS Come back with the answer please Spot on Lisa. Klindt has scored 6 (from 7 rides) 5 and 3 in his 3 visits there. Bates got 9 this season.(from 7 rides including 2 engine failures so basically 9 from 5) As stated Bates for Klindt at Wimborne Road is a loss for Poole Bates for Klindt at the NSS is not a loss for Poole, if anything it makes them stronger Surely you must get fed up reading the tripe from Shovlar , backed up by the clown like a little lapdog. 99% of the Poole fans on this thread know and realise that Poole are stronger tonight having Bates , but were weaker the other night with the same change.
  17. So if ive bitten , you obviously feel its acceptable for Shovlar to troll away then? His posts are either serious an meant ...in which case his opinion differs from everyone else. Or he is trolling to get a reaction
  18. Wells wasnt as good as ive seen him and Mark Riss was poor as well. The reserves should have done better , Clegg in particular. Masters was solid and Erik Riss looks very very good. Pickering deserved more and is a neat little rider
  19. Your entitled to your view but..........King didnt lay it down he picked up drive and disappeared under the air fence..........much the same way Sedgman did earlier.
  20. Wow im honoured lol is that the first time we have agreed? Yes you can compare as they both raced Dan Bewley Nope your Holder / Newman analogy is wrong as one is a heat leader and one isnt. Newman goes well at Monmore but would i want him replacing my number one.......no. Bates is replacing a rider in the same position as him so its easy to compare. Both Klindt and Bates are number sixes for their team. Klindt over Bates at 99% of track i agree................but the NSS isnt one of them Oh and are you calling Lisa a numpty????
  21. Nobody is saying he is Just shows your lack of knowledge about the sport. Riders go better on certain tracks thats a fact not opinion. Bates is half a point behind Klindt in the averages anyway. Is Dan Bewley a better rider than Klindt?? Nope but he beat him both times they met at the NSS......Oops and Bates beat Bewley twice when he rode there. I wouldnt expect Bewley to get anywhere near Klindt at Poole and on other tracks but at the NSS he is the better rider Do you not understand that a rider is better on some tracks then others lol Crap comparison as well Holder and Newman lol. Ones a number one and one a second string. So your saying you would have a rider who has scored 6, 5 and 3..........over a rider who got 9 there? Klindt has been awful at the NSS..............is it only you that cant see it? If Bates scores less than 6 from 7 rides then you can say you missed Klindt
  22. I cant believe that the guy who did the monarchs report Graham someone could have been at the meeting myself. Never seen such a one sided biased report in my life. Mentions the fall of Pickering costing 2 points..........but fails to mention that the fall of Sedgman cost the witches 2 points. Mentions that the track was difficult and the Witches were winning from the gate.......true...but in the first 7 heats the only Witch to win a race was King Heat number 4 and we lose our most potent reserve. Then onto heat 13.............King unbeaten and quite frankly nobody had got near him.......touches the tapes and goes off 15 metres only to fall and be excluded. So the luck there is with the Monarchs that King is out of the race. Then this reporter mentions it was unlucky as the Monarchs were on a 5-1 at the time................forgets to mention that Schlein decided to let them lead in the re run before passing them both.......remember on a track with no passing....Masters passed Sedgman and Schlein passed both Monarchs. No mention that Mark Riss was incapable of getting past Connor Mountain when it mattered. So yes Monarchs lost points when Pickering fell But... Ipswich did when Sedgman fell Ipswich did when Greaves was ruled out Ipswich did when King was excluded. Are all Monarchs reports on their website this biased??
  23. Felt like i was watching most of the Wolves boys last night at Ipswich, Masters, Riss, Schlein and Greaves all in action. Cracking race with Schlein and Masters neither giving an inch
  24. Well put, always nice to debate with someone sensible. I think Batch is a better option then Zengota in my opinion. Newman was poor last night...but yet i get blasted for saying that by you know who........i hope for Kyles sake he turns it around soon
  25. Who would you rather have had? Batchelor scored 13 there this season in the individual meeting. Zengota has never rode there so i would say thats a darn good replacement. Throw into the mix that Bates is better than Klindt round there , along with Belle Vue struggling to win at home, along with Hans riding, and i would say Poole are favourites now to win this meeting. Remember Belle Vue scrapped home against Swindon and Leicester and lost to Somerset, 3 teams worse than Poole.
