the news broke on a speedway site that I happened to be reading. But as an employee of the club you often tell us that you know exactly what Matt Ford is thinking all the time so I'm stunned you didn't know
-
Thought you had a direct line to the promotion and management.........strange how i found out first.
-
so according to you its a horror track but yet your looking forward to it? Kind of strange! do us all a favour and bore off with the horror track garbage, its not funny and shows you on a very strange light..........or someone who is clueless at least

Shame as he was flying this season , get well soon Brady

Im on a forum fella so if i want to ask you something i will. The fact you lack the intellect to debate shows you for what you are. -
Swindon need to make that change now. With the injury to Kurtz , Poole could be caught by someone going on a run and Swindon could be that team

Speedway World Cup 2017
Gavan replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Something fundamentally wrong with the sport in this country and we simply have nobody yet coming through then can challenge. Our best rider doesnt ride for us.........something not right from both sides but i can totallly understand Tai's frustrations trying to help a sport and his country that doesnt want to help itself. Rosco is fine as Team boss. Who else could he have chosen? Lets be fair it could be worse we could have Middlo doing it again and seeing the likes of Kennett back in. How anyone can blame the manager for this is laughable. Last year we came second because we had our best rider in the team.....he isnt now so we came 4th. Im pretty sure the Danes would have liked the chance to ride last night. -
I think Adams dad wouldnt let him go back to Poole after the way his son was treated

Australia going through a poor patch. Holder on the downgrade and nobody to really back up Doyle. Fricke hasn't kicked on at the top level but he has time. Kurtz and Jack Holder still have a lot to do to get to this level as well. The power in speedway has shifted to the Eastern Europeans now for sure. Poland , Russia even Latvia coming to the fore. GB has Tai and Australia have Doyle and after that little else. The swedes are an ageing side Lindgren Jonsson for example. The Danes the same Iversen , Bjerre and so on. -
Nice line of thinking .............wanting to sign a cheat
-
It was all said at the start of the season....sign him on a low average ........watch it increase and then cast him aside for someone else. Klindt would have gone with or without the injury. The only issue is that he hasnt really increased it by that much

correct.

Ipswich V Scunthorpe Ch 6-7-17@7-30pm
Gavan replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So you know the lives of everyone that has posted i take it?? I live the south side of Chelmsford thus meaning it takes me a good hour to get to Foxhall I finish work around half 6 until 7 and am at work now for example. Im married , with a mortgage, and 2 wonderful children, one of whom at the age of 7 is a British Champion in her sport which takes up my time and my money. Add in the fact that i love seeing my children (maybe not the wife so much!) and then hopefully you may understand why i dont wish to rush around every week and lay out the £60 or so that it would cost me to go. Some things in life are more important to me then speedway so please forgive me if i pick and choose what meetings i go to thanks for your concern though -

Poole V Belle Vue Bt Sports 26/6/17
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Only one poster said take it to PM and that was NW42 Why havent you told Shovlar to stop having a go back? Is he some sort of demi-god to you Poole fans? It only takes a quick glance over the threads that Shovlar posts on to see how he is viewed by forum members. He is called a wind up merchant by many (i.e troll) and so many people have a go at him for his posts. Forget about me have a good look at everyone else can they all be wrong??? As for chris4gillian he seems to have been made a scapegoat for Shovlar because unlike other Poole fans he has had the cahoonas to stand up to him and put him in his place. Typical example is Shovlar as someone who can dish out the verbals and the antagonistic and wind up posts but as soon as someone questions him he cant handle it Opinions are valid.....except you pass yours off as facts....facts that quite often you are wide of the mark. How many times do i have to read what will happen to Tai at Cardiff!! -

You could literally have written that about yourself............but at least Starman is fighting your corner -
But the 'first' to do things in a lot of sports has an advantage. Looking at Motor sport and the Grand Prix that is the most boring sport there is. Pole position will win 9/10 races. Going away from motor sport , first to throw in darts will win most legs, whoever serves in tennis will win most games. I dont see an issue with people thinking that speedway is first out of the gate wins. That is a fact in most meetings, but the promotion is making sure people see that there are some great races. Ward v Gollob v Hancock Loram v Nilsen v Rickardsson Screen v Hamill v Swist Loram & Havelock v Hancock & Hamill Not enough is done to promote the races an the meetings that are different

Gavan replied to Wiseguy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Yes it is. If one gate wins every race, say gate one, then every rider takes at least one ride from that gate just realised i should have scrolled down before answering f-s-p post! -
Pathetic comments again from the forums troll. Tai has issues with the way the TeamGB is run. If you read his comments if things change he will ride next year and more importantly wants to ride. Yet you feel he shouldnt be allowed..............go sit under a stone somewhere and bore off

Speedway World Cup 2017
Gavan replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
My point exactly. You need 4 evenly matched teams to produce what we saw last night. The Kings Lynn semi had 2 teams a fair bit better than the other 2. Switch the tracks and the racing still wouldnt have been that good -

Great meeting to watch but my god some of the daft comments on here about this track compared to Saturday! Yes the track plays a part but if tonight was Sweden , Russia, USA and Czech would the racing have been as good???? Of course not!! Yes the track was better than the other night but you need evenly matched teams for good racing! The NSS is the best track we have. Let's have Belle Vue v Berwick and the racing would be awful!
