  1. Enjoyed my first trip to the Showground in about 20 years at least ....sad but true as im only about and hour and a half away. Racing was ok nothing spectacular unless Jack Holder was in the race.......looks more and more the real deal Thought we did ok to come away with a point but after heat one i kind of hoped that it might be a better day. There is no doubt 100% that the best team won, there cant be an Ipswich fan that thinks otherwise There is also no doubt 100% that the track staff were doctoring the starts, there cant be a Peterborough fan that thinks otherwise. Did the goings on at the start gate cost us the meeting? No i very much doubt it did, Peterborough were the better side. At best to do what they did is giving themselves home advantage.....at worst its skullduggery
  2. Blatantly obvious that a few Twitter trolls purely and simply were goading Tai over and over. Wouldnt surprise me if it was Shovlar and Robert72 lol Tai's comments were all in good jest at the start and then people got very personal and attacking him as a person and even his family. Why should he have to take that abuse. Ok maybe in the cold light of day he could have just stopped replying but these people were very very abusive as i say. In the end he had had enough and gave some back. One particular troll who was giving him loads of grief , said in one tweet he was a disgrace not riding for the team and that he should eff off back to Aussie. Tai replied i dont care about the team your making it personal. The words i dont care about the team were then taken out of context. And when you go over the tweets he got i would suggest 95% were supportive, you always get one or 2 morons. Bit like this forum regarding Tai.........95% on his side But still you get people like Shovlar and Robert72 saying he will get no support at Cardiff lol. Though i would suggest Cookie may get louder cheers
  3. Who has improved joining Poole from Leicester. KK? Holder? Kurtz? Hans? Starke? Shanes? Not sure who you mean? Surely not Klindt who has added half a point going from a number one to a reserve??
  4. I dont think he was saying he would Manzares over Milik...............just that last night if you were new to the sport you would have said Gino was the better rider.........quite clearly he isnt. Personally i doubt Milik would have had his best kit here for a meeting that his team couldnt qualify from I dont think Milik has any interest at all in riding in the UK.
  5. as I was reading the thread wondered how long it would be before you troll yet again. You moan at people for having a go at KK yet you have a pop at Tai all the time. Of course we didn't need him tonight but I guess we may in the final! Now run along
  6. Milik for Klindt lol. Your obsessed with Milik!! Poole need to change Klindt and KK. What about Kyle Newman for Klindt??? Oh no they got rid of him lol.
  7. Yes have a good look over the content history. Lets see how many times you have taking the rise out of stevebrums medical conditions. Your simply just a twisted sort of person who gets kicks out of insulting people. When questioned your like a child 'it wasnt me sir it was him sir'
  8. This was the post from Fred Flange............mentioned a horror track My response. Ok lets get one thing clear. This Fred Flange thing is a regular 'bully boy' mainly of stevebrum....go and look at any Wolves thread, he attacks him , and gets very personal as well. He always attacks the Wolves track.mainly due to his obsession with stevebrum....its another way to goad him into a response. Now in the above post the aforementioned Flange states the words 'horror track' and doesnt mention that he is talking about Wolves (though i guess he was). However this is a Poole thread he could have been talking about Pooles track being the 'horror one' which is why i asked the question. Ive not been to Poole since the Mark Loram farewell, but when you read the posts on this thread alone its quite clear that Pooles track is not good, hence i asked Flange which track he was talking about...............not trolling in any way. Starman we all know isnt the sharpest tool in the box, but its also evident from this thread what a vast majority (including Poole fans) think of Shovlar..........yet my name is mentioned. Have a little look back over this thread
  9. Swindon still an outside bet for the top 4...........if they sign r/r Brady was always going to struggle compared to Nick Morris. Morris is the better rider but 5 points from Kurtz was poor...........as you say Poole riders often struggle when guesting. I expect Ford had a little word 'dont do to well we dont want Swindon to catch us'
  10. I called you sad...........very precious if you call that an insult...........i could have used worse. If you think Wolves is a horror track then your speedway knowledge resembles that of a 2 year old, or you simply troll
  11. you really are one sad individual. The NSS is the best track in the country we know that. Wolves is a different type of track but its a great track with good racing, just not flat out. Or are you talking about Pooles horror track?
  12. Im not a Wolves fan but your wide of the mark there. Wolves won at Somerset without Lindgren, Riss, Masters They went to Poole without Lindgren and replaced him with Josh G, hardly like for like. Ok they took on Lynn who missed Huchenbeck and had r/r for Porsing Wolves have missed riders more than most teams
  13. who knew him better lol your priceless!!! Great rider that is unquestionable. Would I want my children to grow up and do the things he done off of the track??? No In 20 years time when people are discussing the great riders I don't believe Darcys name will be among them. That is only because his career is cut short before he can be considered a true great. The 4 most naturally talented riders I've seen live are Ward Gollob Loram and Jan O Pedersen. Only 3 world titles between them. When listing great riders of the sport Leigh Adams would be some way down it but still above Ward. If I had to list 20 legends then neither would make it. If I had to list 20 of the most naturally gifted then Ward would be near the top
  14. undue flack are you for real? One of the most talented riders I've ever seen and what happened was tragic 100%. But under the helmet was a brash cocky person who had frequent mishaps often on the wrong side of the law. The off the track flack was absolutely justified
  15. are you disagreeing with your lord and master Shovlar???? He says your dangerous track is fine as it's home advantage!!! Take it you feel differently??
  16. as good as Darcy was he wasn't a one off. Seen many with as much talent and some made it like Craven , Collins, Loram and Gollob and others although very good never hit the top level like Screen and Kelly Moran. We will never know how far Darcy would have got. The talent was there but it was doubtful if the application was. We sadly will never know and for that reason as good as Darcy was he can't be considered a great
  17. Shovlar and Starman feel if you don't go to every meeting your not a fan..... don't you dare disagree with what they say!! Fortunately my life doesn't revolve around speedway I have 2 lovely children and a wife and with work and my team being an hours drive then I'm entitled to pick and choose my meetings. I would mind hazarding a guess that these 2 are singletons who don't have anything important in life other than watching speedway and living close by and in Starmans case freeloading means it's easier to attend. Between the ages of 10-25 I used to go 3-4 meetings a week. Now I have a lifestyle that doesn't allow anything like that but I'm still a fan
  18. Anyone but the biased Paul Burbidge
  19. Looking like a Wolves v Belle Vue final , these 2 teams are the best in the league at the moment..........but we all know that form in June is irrelevant its who you have in your 1-7 by the end of August
  20. a fair assessment......unlike the total bias we get from Shovlar. Had to laugh when Shovlar said ' the track is bad as it gives Poole home advantage'. Quite possibly the most stupid comment ive heard on the forum Talking of stupid isnt it funny how Starman just doesnt post when Poole lose or people moan about the track
  21. Could be a cracker, Holder coming into some sort of form and loves the track same as Batch and Huckenback went well there last time. I think the fairness of the NSS will ultimately stop Belle Vue winning the league
  22. Thats fair. I was looking at the fact that Holder hugely outscored what he did last time, and Kerr/Klindt scored similar to Starke/Klindt. I just feel that currently even with a full 1-7 that Belle Vue are better. However because the Poole boys tend to go well at the NSS over 2 legs it would be close. Hence why Belle Vue signed Tungate to try and create bigger home wins. I still feel Wolves will win the league as they have the bigger home track advantage and are obviously capable of keeping the scores close in the away match at either Poole or Belle Vue
  23. Klindt scored exactly what Kerr did in the cup match in the 1-5 so you didnt lose out there. Starke scoring only 9 compared to Klindts 13 in the first match was a loss of points but Jack Holder only scored 2 in the first meeting and then 12 this time. Your number one scored 10 this time and last time he scored 8. Putting it simply Belle Vues 1-7 is slightly better than Pooles
  24. One post on the thread since the meeting finished and nothing to do with the meeting. You would have been all over the thread if you had won..................any news on the crap and dangerous track or will you gloss over it like Shovlar has??
