Poole V Belle Vue Bt Sports 26/6/17
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Only one poster said take it to PM and that was NW42 Why havent you told Shovlar to stop having a go back? Is he some sort of demi-god to you Poole fans? It only takes a quick glance over the threads that Shovlar posts on to see how he is viewed by forum members. He is called a wind up merchant by many (i.e troll) and so many people have a go at him for his posts. Forget about me have a good look at everyone else can they all be wrong??? As for chris4gillian he seems to have been made a scapegoat for Shovlar because unlike other Poole fans he has had the cahoonas to stand up to him and put him in his place. Typical example is Shovlar as someone who can dish out the verbals and the antagonistic and wind up posts but as soon as someone questions him he cant handle it Opinions are valid.....except you pass yours off as facts....facts that quite often you are wide of the mark. How many times do i have to read what will happen to Tai at Cardiff!! -

You could literally have written that about yourself............but at least Starman is fighting your corner -
But the 'first' to do things in a lot of sports has an advantage. Looking at Motor sport and the Grand Prix that is the most boring sport there is. Pole position will win 9/10 races. Going away from motor sport , first to throw in darts will win most legs, whoever serves in tennis will win most games. I dont see an issue with people thinking that speedway is first out of the gate wins. That is a fact in most meetings, but the promotion is making sure people see that there are some great races. Ward v Gollob v Hancock Loram v Nilsen v Rickardsson Screen v Hamill v Swist Loram & Havelock v Hancock & Hamill Not enough is done to promote the races an the meetings that are different

Yes it is. If one gate wins every race, say gate one, then every rider takes at least one ride from that gate just realised i should have scrolled down before answering f-s-p post! -
Pathetic comments again from the forums troll. Tai has issues with the way the TeamGB is run. If you read his comments if things change he will ride next year and more importantly wants to ride. Yet you feel he shouldnt be allowed..............go sit under a stone somewhere and bore off

Speedway World Cup 2017
Gavan replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
My point exactly. You need 4 evenly matched teams to produce what we saw last night. The Kings Lynn semi had 2 teams a fair bit better than the other 2. Switch the tracks and the racing still wouldnt have been that good -

Great meeting to watch but my god some of the daft comments on here about this track compared to Saturday! Yes the track plays a part but if tonight was Sweden , Russia, USA and Czech would the racing have been as good???? Of course not!! Yes the track was better than the other night but you need evenly matched teams for good racing! The NSS is the best track we have. Let's have Belle Vue v Berwick and the racing would be awful! -
bet the Leicester fans are gutted they never saw him

I have no idea who he is.....just that he actually stands up for himself and wont just toe the party line that you trot and tell everybody is right. You have been so factually incorrect on so many things it must be a tad embarrassing by now. I will be at Cardiff (only missed 1 when Holder won it) and i can guarantee that Tai, Cook apart, will get the loudest cheers for a British rider from a British crowd. Those who wont cheer Tai are a huge minority yet you keep saying he will be booed. Oh and he will be signing as well so im sure you will go up to him and say the stuff you say on here to his face.......i somewhat doubt it very much..........easier to stay behind a keyboard Please tell me why he should ride over here, because simply there is no reason why he should. I dont need to lead the way of apologists. The vast vast majority of the crowd will cheer him. Stop trying to say otherwise your making yourself look daft -
Newcastle have the best averages, so going on that are certain to qualify. Glasgow and Peterborough are next so you would assume they will battle it out but Ipswich only just behind them If i was asked to say who should win the meeting i would say Newcastle. If i was asked for runners up it would be either Glasgow, Peterborough or Ipswich and they are all in the same group
-
Dont agree 3 of the strongest sides are in group A. Glasgow, Peterborough and Ipswich Of the other group i think Newcastle are clear favourites then either Sheffield or Redcar for runners up

Speedway World Cup 2017
Gavan replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Money burns a huge hole in most peoples pocket. Should Gareth Bale play in the premier league because Spurs turned him into the player he is? I see no reason why any top speedway rider of any nationality should have to ride in a league that isnt competitive and pays a pittance. A speedway career at the top is say 10 years maybe 15. Why shouldnt a rider maximise his earnings to the best he can for once he retires. Sure it would be lovely to see the top boys but it will never happen again im sure -

So in one breath you say that he treats it with disdain and then the next say money is one of the reasons! Of course its a main reason, when the better money is abroad why bother riding here?? How many top boys ride here? 3 If Doyle becomes World Champ he may leave. Why should Tai have to ride somewhere he doesnt want to? Maybe he could come back towards the season end and replace KK -

We was all told last year that Tai would be booed.......he wasnt Shovlar likes to think he speaks for a majority......look at the Poole fans on the Poole thread taking him to task over it. The fact remains that probably bar Cook that Tai will get the loudest reception at Cardiff. -
nothing between the two of them this season as Brady has ridden at number 4 for most of it and Masters as a heat leader. Brady is having a good season but Masters has more experience I guess that's why he is in

never read something so ridiculous and pathetic on this forum!! Did you read the twitter comments??? No you quite clearly didn't. There were a lot of comments from lots of people probably over 100 easily who were behind Tai. 2 keyboard warriors thought it would be cool to have a dig at his wife and unborn child and you think that he should have ignored them!!! Do the maths over 100 people on Tai's side and 2 people having a pop. Multiply that at Cardiff and the people that don't like Tai won't even be heard. Tai reacted on Twitter over nothing to do with speedway. When you don't know the facts best to keep your big trap shut. Blimey you made so many faux pas recently it's embarrassing for you!!! We know you don't like Tai you mention it in every post but yet you are quick to tell people to stop going on about KK on the Poole threads! Total hypocrite -

I fancy Denmark to come out on top on this. Can see AJ and Sundstrom struggling and sometimes Lindback is either brilliant or poor. If Bjerre and Iversen can score the around the same as Lindgren and Lindback then i feel Madsen and MJJ will outscore AJ and Sundstrom. Should be close -

give it a rest pal your rather boring. -
He engaged with a vast number of people on Twitter on Saturday night...........99% of it was all good The 2 people he got engaged with that got nasty actually were being nice at the beginning and then turned on him...........as trolls do. He simply defended his family.......nothing wrong in that
-
spot on wherever that meeting was held, Lynn, Belle Vue, Rye House you would still have had a gulf in class with little close racing. put the World Cup final at Lynn and granted it wont be as good as the NSS but it would still be a far better meeting than Saturday night
-
Wrong His response about his house and family was the end of the barrage of abuse he received form that 1 guy who was slating his wife and unborn baby. In my mind the bloke got all he deserved.

Tai wanted to ride in the British Final last year...the daft dates prevented him from doing that. Even this season the Polish and Swedish finals are away from any GP'S. Seems the people who run the sport in this country dont do anything to help the better riders. Even this season the first semi final was a day after the GP and the final 4 days before GP practice
