  1. Im not a Wolves fan, my team are Ipswich, but i read all threads. You im afraid are on a one man crusade against Wolves. Kind of boring and repetitive and usually with no substance
  2. Great start to the season. Shame about Kyle but good to have Sarj back. DANNY: leading by example as always SARJ: Good return though would have been disappointed to be beat by Carr. Score 6 or 7 at home will do. NICO: Damaged his number one bike on Saturday and the second one wasnt as good but bounce back last night CAM: Doing his job but wont always be as easy as last night RORY: Top marks, good trapper and so smooth out there. Be good to see how he goes away from home DANYON: Great opening night and a couple of mistakes last night but looking good. Big test will come away CONNOR: Gating was there Saturday just didnt mix it. Much better last night. So a great start but lets see how we go away from home. But it will take a very good side to win at Foxhall this season, only Glasgow would worry me.
  3. ah got your knickers in a twist!!! I don't think Poole will win the league is that ok??? Am I allowed to say that??? Can I have that opinion???? So so precious down Dorset way. So because I think Kings Lynn will win it it's called predictive snipe is it!!! Do me a favour pal. And yes it was a shield but it's a bit like the charity shield in football.....nice to win but means nothing at all In the scheme of things. I think Poole will make the play offs with ease but I don't think they will win it. Sorry if that upsets you very strange
  4. Love the Poole fans moaning bout Holder!! Couldn't do any wrong last season lol
  5. but it's true and it's the same people as always. One challenge match win in the old format against a side with the poorest reserves in the league. Still a lot of doubts about this Pools side away from home especially with a number 1 who when the going gets tough goes missing
  6. Can't get there tonight but was a cracking start on Saturday but not get carried away yet. Would expect us to win by 20 tonight
  7. The race format suited Poole and they were able to utilise Klindt. Wolves have the weakest reserves in the league so Klindt and Shane's won't always have it as easy. Shanes apart from one race where he was superb to beat Thorssell only beat the reserves but as home debuts go it was pretty good. This Poole side will be hard to beat at home but will lose on their travels. They had every chance at Wolves with the loss of Newman not as damaging as the loss of Skornicki but failed. Holder isn't up to speed and KK can be anything. A few heavy defeats on the road for Poole but their home form should see them in the play offs
  8. You always get an over reaction from the usual Poole fans its par for the course
  9. Thought Jack Holder could have done better personally Well done Peterborough for putting this on to give riders time for testing equipment and such. think the result is irrelevant in the scheme of things
  10. i apologise to those i offended. Robert72 is a troll who mocked my family before and his quote 'i dont buy friendship with riders' was aimed at me and my family and i wont take that lying down yes he did and no where my family is concerned i wont give it a rest
  11. start down that route again pal and theres trouble. you live in your own moronic little warped world where you believe you lined up against world champions when time and again you cant prove anything. My uncle did used to sponsor Mark when he was a young mascot, maybe if more people did that for young british talent then they could boost their careers. My uncle could have helped you maybe but you were so rubbish that nobody would have noticed. Ive told you before start mocking my deceased family members and i will respond
  12. Im sure in that fantasy world you beat many world champions. Go back under your rock
  13. A top 4 of Cook King Worrall Fricke would be unbeatable at home Not sure how they could fit the rest in but if you can get Bates and Bewley or Sarjeant then that looks a good side
  14. a troll is someone who posts to deliberatly inflame a situation. That is Steve Shovlar in a nutshell. I merely respond to some idiotic posts. So quite clearly you have no idea what a troll is. Starman isn't a troll he is just an idiot
  15. Think you need a dictionary my friend as quite clearly you have no idea what the word troll means bless you Lol you seriously think he was bullied...........my god you have a weird choice of words. Starman started off most posts calling everyone idiots or clowns and then didnt like getting anything back. Christ i called him a numpty and he reported it. He also told me to 'go and play with the traffic on the A14' what a lovely thing to say. The forum is a better place without his stupidity.
  16. Oh my word i love this post. Starman never got bullied by anyone. The mans an idiot and got called out on that quite rightly by many different people on many different occasions. Have a look over Starmans posts a bit closer. People told him he was a fool. He responded many many times with verbal attacks calling people clowns and fools and telling me personally to play with the traffic. About time he left and let the adults chat
  17. My ten based purely on who i have seen ride. Carter Lee Jessup Morton Peter Collins Tatum Loram Havelock Woffinden and for entertainment Screen
  18. In what way? Character? Yes Longtrack? Yes Grasstrack? Maybe But for racing Tatum was the better rider. Both won 2 British Crowns But Tatum won 4 Commenwealth titles to Wiggs 1 Tatum also won a Inter Continental title and Wigg didnt. Both stood on the rostrum in the World Final and arguably Tatum should have again in 1989. Wigg the most flamboyant by a mile bu the better speedway rider was Kelvin Tatum People confuse excitement with skill. Stephen Hendry boring as hell but a much better player than Jimmy White And lets not forget Wiggs dark side and the way he dragged the sport through the gutter at times
  19. 3 top class number ones in Doyle , Holder and Lindgren shows how the league is weaker but that doesnt mean you get poor racing. Look at some of the rides Joe Jacobs used to produce at the NSS last season.
  20. Best 1. Mark Loram winning the World title. After my uncle sponsoring him as a 14 year old to see him become World Champion was unreal. My aunty died in Feb 2000 so never got to see her 'Marky' win the crown. We still have his race bib from the 1997 final and 'that' run off 2. 1994 Commenwealth Final and Mark winning his first 'big' meeting. Can remember it came down to heat 20 with Screeny and Adams in the race. 3. Tied with my first (and Marks) British Final in 1990. Great racing and standing near the Havelock fans who screamed the place down as he won heat 16 only to then go to despair in the very next race. Mark winning heat 19 from Simon Cross to ensure qualifying. And then Marks first meeting as reserve in the top league for Kings Lynn v Reading in 1990. Mark was beaten only once by an opposition rider.........a reserve.........Todd Wiltshire who ended the season as World Number 3 Worst 1. I too was there that night when Paul Muchene crashed. He slid off and Nick Floyd could not avoid him. We used to stand near the pits wall at Hackney and we knew Dave Steen and he came over and told us that it was very serious. 2. The day Mick Poole deliberatly knocked Mark off and he broke his shoulder. Dirty not hard riding 3. At a league meeting at Ipswich versus Edinburgh i think in 1990. Brett Saunders ending up in a heap at the edge of the concrete and later on Frede Schott coming off down the back straight and tumbling along and his helmet just flying off. One of those meetings that had crash after crash. Tied with the night Sam Simota put Mark through the fence and ended his career
  21. Not a weak top 3 but not as good as Lynn, not as good as Wolves but possibly best of the rest. You have 2 of the most inconsistent riders in KK and Hans and then an ok third heat leader. As ive said the second strings, whichever 2 they are will be strong Nathan Greaves isnt very good i agree and maybe Shanes could do better. I would expect Zach to average more than Shanes. I watched Shanes 3 times last season and he is yards behind going into the first bend. As ive said he is great to watch as he is all action and likes to wind it on out in the dirt but he simply leaves himself so much to do. He will struggle to get around some tracks but will no doubt thrive on Belle Vues wide open spaces and being a top grasstracker he should have no problems at Poole. He will never in a million years average what Bates or Ayres do. He will struggle to get what Zach does and could maybe do better than Bailey
  22. James Shanes although a trier and entertainer is a poor gater and in my opinion is the weakest number 7 in the league. Bates and Ayres are certainly better. So to are Zach and Greaves. I would say Perks, Graversen and Bailey are better to but not by much. As for him beating the odd number 6 no chance apart maybe from Grondal, the others are ahead of him. Lebedevs , Huchenbeck and Sarjeant are very good number 6's That said i hope the lad does well i agree. The other reserves are better in my opinion I think the opposite. Poole have a weakish top 3 but their second strings look the best in the league to me
  23. Kings Lynn Wolves Rye House Poole Belle Vue Leicester Coventry Swindon Somerset
  24. easily the best team?? The heat leader trio isn't as strong as Wolves or Kings Lynn. Granted the second strings look ok but at teserves big question marks as well. Poole look strong but not easily the best not by a long shot
  25. how dare you look at the Poole team that way!!! I've said the same thing. 4 riders that you never know if they score 10 or 5 in Hans, KK, Klindt and Kurtz. Jack Holder may need time and Newman is solid enough. I agree that Lynn Rye and Wolves look good solid sides
