I agree with that statement. With my work and family i pick the meetings i go to at Ipswich. Last season for example i went to Somerset (twice) Newcastle , Sheffield , Glasgow and Edinburgh. Had no interest in Redcar or Berwick meetings for example. When we thrashed everyone in 1998, it was such a boring season to watch, great that we won but sometimes by huge margins and no thrills at all

Shock horror. Is there any team that looks any good to you?? I would fancy Poole will beat most teams at home but i would expect Poole to get beat on the road and be thumped at Rye House and Wolves. Cant see Poole doing much at Leicester either. Gomolski will want to prove a point after being promised a place then tossed aside by Poole Leicester now have the best reserve in the league which will stand them in good stead.

Got to be 2 definitions of entertainment. Those riders who provided the entertainment in their racing ................Loram and Screen for example And those that provided the entertainment purely on their character................Mullarkey and Moggo as examples

I have an opinion and you dont like it and are to thick to debate it. I have all the time in the world for Kurtz as a rider but if i dont think he is good enough compared to others thats my choice. If i think Kyle Newman has under achieved thats my opinion If i think Poole were mad to let Holder go thats my opinion.

Sorry im confused by your post. Ive mentioned Poole look weak at third heat leader but strong second strings............am i not allowed to say that? Cant remember the last time i posted about Pooles 1-7 as its all been about the piracy issue on this thread recently

Nothing wrong with the optimism i can see us challenging. You know what you will get with King and Covatti and Heeps and there is room for Hume to kick on. Schlein and Mountain will have to show they have got over their big injuries. Newman has been talked up every season as 'potential'. He now needs to start showing that and no way will he get near Number One lol. I think we will be there or thereabouts, certainly play offs. Much will depend on Schlein and Newman for me

Its not about giving the guy a chance its about opinions on wether certain riders are the best riders to have in the team. Poole have a decent top 2 but either Jack Holder or Kurtz will have to step up to become that third heat leader. Personally if Milik was that third heat leader that would look stronger so some Poole fans are rightly concerned over Kurtz. Thats not to say either Brady or Jack cant step up but that position has to be of some concern. There will be nothing wrong with the 2 second strings which will be Newman and one of the other 2. Poole will have the best 2 and 4 in the league and should cover for the possible weaknesses of Pooles top 3.

Poole have a strong number one but he is known to missing at times, apparently that won't happen this season as he loves Poole. Hans also has his best years behind him but they have a fairly strong top 2. The 3rd heat leader position is a worry but it means they will always have strong second strings. For Klindt see Kasprzak. Capable of big scores but also shockers. Shanes will do his job but needs to learn to gate. Strong side and will make the play offs. To many ifs and buts for me but I'm sure Ford will make changes if it goes wrong

And still he bangs on about Pooles injuries!!

sorry mate your one of the good guys. Poole will make the play offs ...possibly the final but i feel they may fall just short. KK and Hans not consistent. Third heat leader position is a worry. Second strings will be the strongest in the league and you have a good reserve who again can blow hot and cold. Im sure Ford will make changes if he needs to.

How have i put blame on Poole folk?? All i have said is that a certain someone..........from Poole........feels its fine to break the law. Im sure there are many many more in other parts of the UK doing the same thing. The fact i also said 'goes with the territory' was a reference that Poole speedway are known for not worrying about the 'speedway rules' either. Please provide the statement that i said 'Pooles fault'. Yet again putting words in my mouth.........not good for you to keep making things up

Cracks me up reading this thread at times. The true speedway fans on here all hoping for a solution and that Coventry come to the tapes, as the Coventry Bees, at Brandon Then you get the Poole duo clogging up the thread , only these 2 could show such stupidity....Leicester Bees.........pillock! Clear those 2 from speaking on here and let all the rest of us hope that 1 of the 2 biggest clubs in the Uk (no not Poole) come to the tapes somehow
