  1. what you wittering on about? Its been said on here the words 'new turbo twins'.....go over the thread its there!! And why should a Poole fan not agree with me?? You dont all have to be blinkered sheep and follow the party line everytime!! Kurtz and Holder are having pressure put on them on this forum by numerous Poole fans and im simply saying they shouldnt have pressure put on them. If you think they should then so be it please explain the word ' sinse'. and without looking you know that i havent posted on there since the 10th December!! Im a bit worried about you being some sort of stalker! Do you have a diary of when i post things then??? Little freak of a man you are. oh and while we are at it. you have been posting regularly on the Coventry thread in the last few days. Is that ok for you to do that then?? Your a hypocrite and a clown. You spout bile on the Coventry thread and have been told by everyone on there to go away, yet you come on the Poole thread like some sort of god like figure telling people what to do!! Well you wont tell me where i can post and what i can do so learn to keep your trap shut. I was having what is called a 'chat' with a couple of decent Poole fans in foreverblue and rayc about the Aussie champs and the undue pressure some of you are putting on your younger riders. When you are grown up enough to have a discussion then please do but for now let the adults chat Just a few examples of Poole fans calling them the 'turbo twins' Also Matt Ford called them potentially that as well. In my eyes to much pressure for these 2 youngsters.................but hey what does a Poole hater know!
  2. Not as many as that. Nothing between the 3 of them if you ask me but obviously Kurtz and Holder are more promising than Sedgman. If Batch and Watt do have good seasons that makes Kings Lynn and Rye House very strong. Kings Lynns 3 heat leaders will be far ahead of the rest
  3. Sedgy is a class act when on song and can be a bit like Batchelor in that he has serious off days. I would say the form carrys over fine. The top 7 were all class acts Watt, Sedgy, Batch, Morris , Masters, Tungate, Fricke. There were no suprises from the lesser names and the only 2 poor performances were Kurtz and Holder. In the next meeting a Morris or Tungate might only get 5 or 6, as those 9 riders dont fit into 7 places. But you have to agree you would have expected better from the Poole boys But your right in some ways as Kurtz was the winner last year but did nothing over here I agree and at second string for Rye House he could be a trump card
  4. They do but to be fair its only the usual 1 or 2 putting that pressure on, you know the ones who see never see anything that isnt through those blue tinted specs lol. Seems like a cracking meeting down under, a resurgent Davey Watt, what a cracking second string he will be for Rye House. Batchelor making moves from the back and not giving up, and him on form makes the Kings Lynn heat leader trio by some way the best 3 in the league. Morris going well and Sedgy also. Davey Watt wins the meeting, wonder why Poole didnt use him this year? Could have missed a trick there
  5. Looking good in oz that Batch seems to have got his mojo back, fighting for points from the back when not gating. Could be far and away the best heat leader trio for you guys this season
  6. so much pressure put on these 2 by some Poole fans. all the nonsense of the ' new turbo twins' is just farcical and the fact some have said they 'are the future of Poole'. You are correct if they dont come up to scratch (and this is a bigger season for Kurtz than Holder) then Matt will move them on. And likewise if their average doesnt fit (Adam Ellis) they will also leave
  7. Kurtz and Jack Holder having shockers in the first round of the Aussie champs. Kurtz getting 5 points and Holder only 6. Must be a big concern for Poole fans that the 'new turbo twins' are way off the pace
  8. Thats what Shovlar is best at unfortunatly is trolling and stirring. He has just done the same thing on the Leicester page...........bit pathetic really
  9. First round of the Aussie champs underway. Shock in heat 1 as defending champion only comes third beaten by Watt and his brother. Jack Holder also suffers suprising defeat to Ty Procter Batch impressive and big heat 4 won by Sedgy ahead of Morris and Tungate and World under 21 champ Fricke in last.
  10. What for winning it? I would want at least 20/1. Tai is a good price to win again and give Britain another world title but i will be lumping on Zmarzlik. To early for Dudek
  11. Good to see someone like Neil Watson putting the troll in his place, lets hope he takes the advice and stops stirring the pot regarding Coventry
  12. Shane Parker never came in on a 3 average. He rode at number 2 for Ipswich in his first season
  13. I hope he does improve especially for us. But the facts show he hasnt improved at elite league level , his average has in fact gone down. An injury free run and yes he might improve, bu then like Adam Ellis , if he improves to much he will be out of a team place next season. Poole biggest worry for me is that third heat leader position. They need someone to step up especially if Hans and KK arent on it which they do have a history of not turning up some weeks.
  14. oops here you are again on another teams thread proving what a clown you are yet again. A ten year old could sell speedway stars hardly worthy of bigging yourself up.
  15. As i said 4 or 5 pages back the same people go on every thread and turn it into some sort of farce. Shovlar posts a trolling post to get responses knowing full well what he posts is done to wind up everyone and then just sits back and lets it unfold, obviously getting some sort of kick out of it. Then along comes Starman who basically has no thought process of his own and thinks the sun shines out of the backside of the afore mentioned Shovlar and cheers him on from the sidelines like some sort of teenager at a rock concert. All clubs have the odd fruitloop on here just seems Poole have more than most. The issue here is Coventry speedway, quote sad and pathetic that the odd Poole fan feels it that coming on here to gloat about Poole and their website is not in any way wrong
  16. Doesnt matter what teams thread you go on the Poole deadly duo of Starman and Shovlar take it over. very hypocritical of Starman who tell everyone to get off the Poole thread
  17. I will have some of what your smoking please The heat leader trio of Masters , Wolbert and Fisher is stronger than this years Masters, Wells and Riss Second strings last year the Riss brothers are stronger than Pickering and Clegg And this years reserves Riss and Davey similar to Clegg and Bewley last year. A half decent side now the limit is lowered but better than last year? Not by a long shot
  18. Spot on. Last season we were hearing how good Kurtz was going to be and he never lived up to it. Now we are hearing the same thing about Holder and the same could easily happen again. Anyway back to Wolves and its a 1-7 that will easily qualify for the play offs despite Shovlars usual guff. They would also be favourites over Poole over 2 legs in my eyes due to how the Poole boys go at Monmore. KK last season got only 5 points from 4 rides and ran 2 lasts showing his usual lack of interest. In fact if you look at the last scores of the Poole boys , KK 5 , Kurtz 0 (and only 6 from reserve), Klindt 0 (from number 5) Newman 14 (from reserve) and Hans 13. Add in 2 riders who have never seen the place and prefer bigger track then is obvious Poole will struggle at Monmore. Poole will be favourites for the league but i would fancy them over 2 legs against Kings Lynn more than Wolves
  19. I can see Poole getting a bigger beating at Monmore than Wolves do at Poole therefore I would fancy Wolves over 2 legs. KK struggles at Wolves as does Kurtz. Jack Holder I would assume would hate the place. Andersen can be good or poor same for Klindt and Shanes is better on the big tracks
  20. To easy to say that. Poole reserves were strong last season yet the top was ultimately a failure. Poole riders had off nights, the reserves stepped in and Poole still lost to Wolves. Most number 7 riders are making up the numbers , Shanes included. So if you look at Clegg v Klindt you would say will outscore him by say 5 or 6 points a meeting at best? Im pretty sure the rest of the Wolves strong top 5 can make up that deficit. At Wolves i would expect the Wolves top 5 to outscore the Poole top 5 by at least 9 points. Also i would think Clegg will be closer to Klindts score around Monmore. At Poole i would expect the Poole top 5 to outscore the Wolves top 5 by 5 or 6 but the reserves to also score more by about 5 or 6 Not much between the 2 sides for me
  21. Wrong. Elite league semi finals last season: Poole v Wolves.........Poole reserves score 17+3.....Wolves reserves score 7 Wolves v Poole.........Poole reserves score 23+3.....Wolves reserves score 11 Thats Poole reserves scoring 40+6 versus Wolves reserves getting 18.........a difference of 22 points..............Didnt get Poole any success as other areas of the team let them down
  22. Good reserves taking lots of rides didnt help Poole last season!! Ellis and Newman were outstanding in the play off semi finals but the rest of the side somewhat choked. If Klindt bangs in 13 and Shanes 3 for example against Wolves reserves getting say 7, its irrelevent if the other members of the top 5 dont pull their weight. In 2 evenly matched sides reserves are important as the top 5 will get roughly the same, But i would expect Wolves heat leaders to comfortably outscore every other heat leader trio in the league (bar maybe Kings Lynn) by maybe 5 or 6 points a meeting. The Wolves second strings especially at home will outscore most second strings by 4-5 points as well. Thus as long as the Wolves reserves score less than 6 or 7 then their rivals they will still win meetings
  23. What a great man to have been around back in the good old days at Hackney, Loram , Louis, Galvin , Moggo, Whitt, Venebles and Hamnet (rip) great times on the Northern Tours and other road trips. RIP to a true speedway man
  24. Its not commitment thats the issue, its wether he can be bothered some meetings.
  25. No issue with KK as a signing with these points limits. But its funny to read the stuff from certain Poole fans who keep saying ' he rides better for Poole' (statistics disprove this) and that he wont go missing like he does. KK has a history of being very very average in some meetings , to the point of being useless. When he is up for it he can be superb, but its rubbish to say that just because he has signed for Poole he wont be like that anymore.
