Correct that Leicester went on to win but they were not favourites until with about 4 games to go. Poole are still overwhelming favourites, thats not an opinion its a fact. One that somehow escapes you. Belle Vue or Wolves could win the title and personally i think Belle Vue are a good price. You never see a poor bookie and thats why Poole are still huge favourites and if they cant win it this year when their biggest challenger has had to get used to a track with no advantage then Poole will have thrown it away

I got banned because i lost my temper with mainly one member who went way over the line in his remarks. Ok maybe i shouldnt have lost my cool but im sure most would react the same way. My first post back wasnt to wind people up but more to get my side across and yes im happy he has been banned.

That side with Holder, Andersen and Buck as heat leader, an aussie champion at reserve, along with experiance of Watt and now Pedersen, added in with a reserve that has been their for 6 years in Newman and the British Under 21 third place rider they should have walked this league this season as almost all pundits said. Belle Vue with a lack of home track advantage have performed wonders to be top of the league and they would be the most deserving winners

Poole could catch Belle Vue......bu they wont Belle Vue top and will choose no doubt Lakeside or Swindon which leaves Poole with the daunting task of Wolves in the semi final. Belle Vue are quite clearly the best team in the league this season which is hugely surprising as Poole on paper look far stronger

Personally i thought the kudos of being the current British Under 21 champion and the highest placed Brit in the World series should have held sway and Bates should have had the nod. Trouble is some of you see that as Poole bashing when quite clearly its just a debating point
