  1. Best Gater: Chris Louis, Todd Wiltshire, Hans Nielsen, Greg Hancock Best Racer: Mark Loram, Joe Screen, Jan O' Pedersen, Darcy Ward Ive been going since late 80's so can only comment on those ive seen live
  2. wrong there his average went up 2 seasons ago. Forget what Lanham was he isn't a heat leader anymore but you would have a rider on 4.90 who could easily average 6.50 especially at reserve. Granted he isn't one to build for the future but I would be amazed if he didnt improve his starting average
  3. 2 standout riders fro me in Cook and Stead. One has tried the elite league and abroad and the world cup and the other is just happy where he is! I hope Danny does become top dog as an Ipswich fan, but i think he will be in the next line of riders like Barker.
  4. He was flying at the start and at the end but in 4 gp's he scored 14 points when he had the injury. I think he stepped up last season and this could be his year and if he is around the 5/1 mark will be carrying my cash
  5. if he rides the same as he did all season KK wins it. Dont forget he missed a gp (same as Greg) and then scored only 14 out of the next 3 when clearly unfit, and only lost the title by 8 points. KK in my mind has to be favourite to win it
  6. Ah peace has been restored on the Somerset thread as i see the thickest man on the forum hasnt posted for a while. How do you Somerset fans put up with him? Poole fans are fed up and tell him to shut up as well. Back to the point i hope Holder can still ride here somehow. If he is as good as Brady then 7.0 will be achieveable.
  7. starman is a pathetic troll who posts his rubbish to inflame or quite simply he is as thick as pig s**t i know. the bloke is just a prat
  8. No id ont know why it is the rule havent said i have you moron get this into that donut bonce of yours. THE SPORTS GOVERNING BODY SET THE RULES THAT ALL CLUBS HAVE TO ADHERE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No we dont agree you idiot!!!!!! The rules are set so why are you even discussing it. Somerset fans you must be sick of this numpty like the Poole fans are!!
  9. give it up you are quite the idiot today. NOBODY HAS TO AGREE WITH THE RULES BUT IT IS THE EFFING RULE SO YES IT IS EFFING TOUGH You seriously are on full tilt here mate
  10. pathetic response. i dont agree with the rules but THEY ARE THE RULES! Why are you asking a fan to explain the rules ask the governing body!! Its simple Holder ACCORDING TO THE RULES IS A 7 wether we agree with the rules or not.........THEY ARE THE RULES! Kinda hoping the capitals may get into that thick skull of yours but i doubt it
  11. ha ha ha ha jeez you need help........its called the rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nobody could understand why Milik was so low last year but that was ok with you wasnt it. double standards yet again
  12. Stupid comment but i expected nothing less. Holder was a 7 not a 5 so Somerset couldnt have him quite simple really. Nothing to do with being a hater its to do with fairness but as you have shown many times its win at all costs for you
  13. Wow thats and incredibly bold statement both were phenomenal from 1984 -89 when Erik suffered his accident then Hans carried on up until the mid 90's Never Nielsens biggest fan much preferred Erik but there is no getting away from just how good both were. If Erik hasnt had suffered his accident he also would have carried on with Hans dominating for more years. Two absolute legends of the shale and Carter, as good as he was, cant be mentioned in the same breath when talking about top riers in the sport
  14. why don't you do everyone a favour and stop posting your crap. Kenneth Bjerre, Linus Sundstron, Micheal Jepsen Jensen and Tomas H Jonasson have all been the subject of affection and now it's Jason Doyle. You clearly are not right in the head to keep doing what you do on here yet somehow you don't get banned its quite pathetic
  15. the Danes would have had the measure of the 2 Brits I think. Sanders may have nicked one but Sigalos ankle injury certainly robbed him. Watch you tube footage of him in a run off against Nielsen lining him up and passing him easily. Carter wouldn't have ever been champion and I think by 1985 Lee's days were over at top level
  16. i have but with the possible exception of G Laguta the others would do well to get top 8. As I say Emil and Darcy are missing as contenders, Emil through choice and Darcy doesn't deserve to be there
  17. As far as i can tell the only one missing who could be world champ is Emil. I dont count Ward as missing as it was his own fault and doesnt deserve to be riding so doesnt deserve to be World Champion. Emil is choosing not to ride.
  18. i know and its perfectly reasonable choice chris............4..............gillian lol just knew that would be his choice. Probably got Magic 2nd and Hancock 3rd! so if you think Hancock Pedersen and Hampel should be higher then you would have riders like Tai KK and Iversen low down. Think it shows its a good field!!
  19. Starman in 'picks Poole rider to be world champion shock'
  20. i can see Magic coming between 7th and 11th. think he will be fine on the bigger european tracks but may struggle on the smaller temporary ones. For example cant see him scoring weel at Cardiff, could be wrong Doyle , MJJ and Jonasson will have good meetings and poor ones. For me Batchelor and Harris will be tailed off as the last 2. This is my gp table: 1. Kasprzak 2. Tai 3. Iversen 4. Zagar 5. Hancock 6. Holder 7. Pedersen 8. Hampel 9. Janowski 10. Jonsson 11. Jepsen Jensen 12. Doyle 13. Jonasson 14. Batchelor 15. Harris
  21. Tai had an awful start last season and injuries. Missing the uk and no pressure of being world champion should enable him to regain his crown. I can see KK on the rostrum and can you rule out Nicki and Greg? Cant see anyone else really. Zagar to inconsistant for me. Depends how fit Iversen is as well
  22. I used to love watching Carter but in World finals he used to have a good first 3 rides then implode. Dont think he would have ever been world champ as the danes were coming along when he ended his own life. Mike Lee could have been anything but was a waster basically who wouldnt put up with rules and played the wild child. Yes Ebdon and Eglese were idiots but Lee didnt help himself. The others namely Erik changed
  23. nobody is knocking Cook for riding premier league to earn money. we know the risk these guys take and they are entitled to earn as much as they can in the short time they are a speedway rider. if Cook tried hard enough as current british number 2 im sure someone would take him on in Poland. Lewis Bridger went out and did it and he isnt in Cooks class. i think Cook is happy doing what he is doing over here but he isnt giving himself the opportunity to be the best he can. As ive said if he becomes British Champ this season, or makes the gp's i will eat humble pie but i feel he has reached his maximum
  24. dont have a problem with Cook at all always great to see the best in the premier when they visit. i just think he has reached his peak
