As much as some of their fans on here are a tad strange there is no doubt Edinburgh are the best team over the season and are worthy champions. Play offs are just daft but i see the 'money' side of it. What happens in the last 'league' meeting if Cook and say Worrall get injured and cant ride in the play offs and another team win it? As for Pooles success it's not hard with the skulduggery at that club. Oh and Rosco has done it with 2 different clubs. Holder and Ward as good as Pedersen and Iversen and better than Kasprzak and Hampel Batchelor as good as Kildemand and better than Pepe Doyle better than Mads and maybe on this track not as good as Koldziej So rider for rider they are bang there. I dont think there is any chance of us getting a medal but the boys and the manager deserve so much credit getting us there. Looking at the line ups i think the aussies are good value. Cant quite understand Mads being 1 of the best 4 danes. A good rider but destined to be the weak link maybe like Doyle for the Aussies. With Poland depends on which Hampel and Kasprzak turn up. If its the Kasprzak from the gp here then the Poles will be favourites. We will do well to get within 10 points of 3rd place. We have one and a half gp riders , the aussies 3 and the Danes 2

Why are people arguing about putting the youngsters in it makes no sense! If people wanted to watch the likes of Kerr and Garrity get beat race after race then go ahead. Surely the aim this year was to make the final at best so put out yout best 4 riders. By all means have them in the pits around the atmosphere but in the 4? NO Speedway is in dire straights in this country lifte only by a British World Champion. Saturday night gave you a buzz back for the sport and if we are in with a squeak of a medal than again it will bring a buzz back which we need over here. wrong! the riders of the future if at Lynn in the pits will have learnt an awful lot from being around the teams even just watching guys like Tai Hancock and Ward how they go about big meetings. By getting to the final we have possibly even over achieved so yes we have gained something and the youngsters will be a part of the feel good factor around at the moment.

spot on. people need to realise that the rider behind can be at fault as well. Look at Darcy and Greg in heat 20. If Dacry had of tried what the czech lad did he would have been in the fence. The difference is Darcy was controlling the throttle a lot better different scenarios there and you know it. Look at Pedersen on Zagar in the gp just wiped him out and of course rightly excluded. What about a track, bit like last night , where the racing line is a foot from the fence? You saying a rider shouldnt ride close to the fence in case the rider behind wants to come round him? No he blocks him. Nilsson moved wide there was contact obviously but the lad behind should have seen him coming and either shut off or changed line. The person in front is allowed to ride where they want. Listen to riders when they moan at the ref sometimes they use it all the time. You can perform a move with contact as well. jeez ive been watching the sport for 30 years and now you dont want contact lol

I really cant see where people are coming from who believe excluding Nilsson was right! When you are in front you can ride your line and Nilsson did exactly that. If you watch he was almost fenced himself but had the foresight to shut it off which is exactly what the young czech lad should have done. It wasnt dirty just hard riding. Please dont liken it to Nicki who waits till riders are alongside before fencing them or simply rides through them What Nilsson did was hard riding, Pedersen is dirty, just ask his pit lane colleagues!

think that is a bit over critical of Darcy. Perhaps he needs to have a chat with Mark Loram on how to pass cleanly and safely with throttle control. No we dont think Darcy should win every race he rides in. Fact is he makes as many semis as Tai does yet doesnt often get further. Has to be a slight issue temprement wise

Wow strange choices from the Danes! Pedersen Iversen Bjerre and MJJ are the best 4 with Kildemand or Hans as reserve. As much as I like Mads he isn't in the class or experience of the other boys. Time to lump on the poles and wouldn't surprise me if the swedes or Aussies grab 2nd.
