Im still confused over some fans reaction to the track. In most races there were only really 2 riders that could win it unless Greg was racing . Gino mixed it a bit as well as Covatti. So when you have only 2 riders what are people expecting them to do pass and repass?? Did nobody see Harris come from last to first and Covatti pass in his last ride.? As i said get 4 evenly balanced teams on the track and have a race of Tai, Holder, Pedersen and Kasprzak then moan about the track. A race of Tai, Woodward, Ruml and Castagna is hardly going to set the world alight!! Those people moaning we were lucky get a grip!! The Aussies missed Holder granted but everything else can happen in speedway! Ward had a poor night that happens its not lucky! The second best rider team gb has in Nicholls isnt even racing so it evens up and we were DESERVED winners not lucky hahahahahahhaahhahahah prize twit shows his face again. No Holder = No Nicholls Ward isnt half fit you prat. fit enough in the gp's he was garbage last night and spat his dummy like a petulant brat. Woodward wasnt out of his depth. better than all the italians and the yanks except Greg and on his day is as good as Stead and King. You won't hear anything from Starmsn and the cronies who claimed nobody could do better than Middlo. As we all said its not just the pool of riders it's how you get the best out if them. Last year we at Lynn we had Cook and Kennett who don't go well there. This year a proper manager picks the correct riders and knows how to get the best out of them. Nobody can tell me Stead and King have improved in the last 12 months just we now have a boss who knows what he is doing, lets be honest Starman isn't a true gb fan as hasn't commented on any thread

Well what a cracking result for the boys! Special praise must go to Rosco. Knew how to pick a decent side i.e the best 4 available and more importantly knew how to motivate them and get them up for it. What a difference 12 months makes from having Old mother hen Muddlo picking poor riders and a complete lack of motivation. Can't see Starman and the other Poole fans on here who said NOBODY could do any better with the pool of riders we have! Erm wrong! We are on the final and with Middlo we couldn't beat the yanks or Latvia! People moaning bout the track need to understand in a lot of races there was only 2 riders who could win it therefore you weren't going to get class racing. Have the final at Lynn with 4 top sides and the racing would be better. Darcy tonight made me realise that he is still the brat he always had been absolutly pathetic! Middlo was tactically inept we know that, and he picked Kennett for christs sake! He picked Cook who didnt do the business at Lynn, Rosco noted Cook isnt great at Lynn and went for a 'horses for courses' policy. Granted i wouldnt have had Stead but definatly not Cook at Lynn. No one is moaning about Cook not riding because it is the correct choice

not a speedway fan then are you. My club is Ipswich and ive watched the greats and the not so greats. We have riders like Gino that are great entertainment and value for money, and i admit our track isnt the greatest but i see as much good racing as i do poor. Back when we had the all dominating side of Gollob Rickardsson Louis and Nicholls we won most meetings easy so what is more value for money? Nothing to do with high horses but your attitude is part of the reason the attendances are so low. great atmosphere usuallly poor racing. no mate the real problam is people who think the top boys always equals better racing so dont go anymore

why? blinkered view on your sport then or your club. Ive watched Ipswich win titles in the 80's and 90's ive seen the true greats and legends pull on a witches jacket. Sanders, Cook, Sigalos, Rickardsson, Gollob, Loram, Louis,Nicholls, Clouting and as amazing as those days were i love my sport love my club so i go as much as possible with nothing to cheer about for this millenium. Im happy to see my club run and ive seen some cracking meetings at Premier level. Its people like you who dont support their club that mean the sport is dying.

I think we can win this one. According to Jonny Adam was gating really well at Wolves and showed some sparkle and hopefully Cam's heat 14 win last week gives him a boost and some confidence. Surely Rohan and Gino cant have as poor as meetings last week. Witches by 10 but looking forward to Worrall and Morris as apparantly there was an altercation at Belle Vue on Monday

really? you dont read a lot of posts on this forum then! try the Poole threads i called someone a numpty on here once and got banned its quite sad but there a re a lot of people who can dish it out but not take it back. I also told someone to grow up a bit and if your offended by that its a bit sad. Settings called me an idiot. doesnt bother me but why do it? And i did actually give my reasons why i dont think Cook will improve. You are correct what you say about Tai. Even Mark Loram didnt really get any better until the 1999 season. If you think my opinion that Cook wont improve anymore makes me look an idiot to the masses then im afraid you have a very blinkered view on all matters. If Cook averages like a number one in the elite league and quits Edinburgh and looks like one day he may make the gp's then i will admit i was wrong. you also use the phrase 'logical masses' so in your head the sensible people will think Cook will improve more and those that dont agree with you are idiots! pretty daft reasoning

jesus! why do i need to have a reason as to why i think he has? its called an opinion! At premier level he is dominant no question. At elite league level has his performances got any better? I would say no and yes i realise he is riding at number 5 but by now you would like to think he would be beating the other number 5's - Janowski, Harris, Pawlicki, Michelsen, Bech, to mane a few. He came 2nd in the British final 2 places better than last year but no Nicholls in the final and got past Barker due to a mistake. He did nothing at Cardif to show that he could be close to gp level. And at World Cup level he made the top 4 this year and hasnt this time. So i believe his career has stalled a bit and he hasnt made the next step forward. If he is going to get any better he needs to leave the comforts of the Premier and try abroad. Funny how he hasnt been approached by Poland or Sweden? Its nothing against Cook but i dont see him getting any better than he is now. I dont have to justify my opinion. If thats the case then could you please put forward how you think he will be in the gp's anytime soon?

Bset track is open to huge debate. People think that fast means best? Not always the case, ive seen some shocking meetings at Peterborough and Lynn and Sheffield for example. I know for 100% fact that Mark Loram hated riding Peterboroughs track but loved Pooles back in the day and Lakesides as well. A lot is down to preperation as we know now that Pooles track is garbage compared to what it was in the late 90's early 00's
