i would build the team around Poole Tungate and Heeps. Dak although ok has got one of those averages that doesnt really fit for me and im not sure i would include him. I still thin Tress on a low average might be ok but then lets go and get a genuine number 1 who can guarantee us 12-15 points in 95% of the meetings. At the moment we are hoping Tungate or Poole will but we dont know and even when we have a reserve score 19 we dont have a top liner capable of backing it up. Im sorry but the team was very poorly put together and very slow to react when team changes are needed just look at Scunny and Somerset to see what they did getting Morris and Monberg. Aljacks views are extreme and he does try to wind others up the way he puts things but face facts he is right!

It blatently obvious Lanham should be nowhere near the team and Risager was not signed as a reserve so shouldnt be anywhere near the reserve berth. I would expect Lanham to score well at number 6 it doesnt hide the fact that Risager is a huge let down this season.

There should not be a wildcard in the gp challenge makes it a total joke if Pavlic gets through. Have no problem with the final being held there lets face it someone will have home track advantage where ever it is, and if Pavlic got to the challenge final on merit then of course he has the luck of it being a local track but he didnt and this is so wrong

Following on this is in my opinion the 15 riders i think should be in the series next year: Nicki Pedersen Chris Holder Jason Crump Greg Hancock Emil Sayfutdinov Tomasz Gollob Andreas Jonsson Jaroslaw Hampel Fredrik Lindgren Darcy Ward Martin Vaculik Gregory Laguta Micheal Jepsen Jensen Janusz Kolodziej Niels Kristian Iversen or Tai Woffinden agree/disagree?

There will always be a british rider in the gp series i think thats obvious. I dont agree with it but it will not be allowed to happen without a brit in there. Personally i want to see the best 16 riders in the world in there and none of our riders are in that position. Lets be fair Harris has kept his place on entertainment value alone as when on song he will provide some thrills and spills. His time has come though to be replaced and it can only be Tai or Scott. I think Ward Hampel and Vaculik are nailed on to get in as wild cards if Vaculik doesnt make the challenge qualifiers,then you are looking at Laguta next as well as Iversen. A brit doesnt deserve a place ahead of any of these riders but it would help if Vaculik and Iversen qualified from the challenge freeing up a wild card place. Dont think it matters if there will be 4 aussies and 1 dane. You need to be good enough and if Watt qualifies via the challenge then he will deserve his spot and Ward has to be in. Try a few years back not having Sullivan or Wiltshire in there. If Nicki is the only dane then fair enough and lets be honest if Harris keeps getting wild card after wild card then maybe Bjerre if he came 9th or 10th would be in line for another go. The authorities do like to put 9th and 10th back in a lot of the time!!

nothing wrong with coventry seen many a good meeting there fim events and nlrc and stuff. im an ipswich fan but our place isnt good enough. just dont hold it at peterboro as mjj would be unbeaten!!! whats wrong with lynn best race track in the country?

Risager captain?!!!!!!!! biggest joke of the season surely he shouldnt be anywhere near the side LET ALONE CAPTAIN!!! a captain is someone you can look up to a leader both on and off the track and to be honest we dont have one, give it to Rohan. the trouble we have is we built very poorly in riders on the way down in the sport, lanham, doolan, risager, we can carry one of those guys as a second string not 2 as heat leaders! we need more up and coming riders like rohan and cam and build this team. hey lets go and get a number 1 maybe? think we probably the only team without one really as our top rider is averaging 7ish i guess. i agree a lot with aljack he isnt blinkered like most on here though a little over the top in the louis criticism i feel but totally right about the team. i also disagree with him about tress as i think he is ok as a second string/reserve.

What an earth is happenin to our club? the weak link the rider who is sucking us down and totally underperforming is Lanham. Doolan to has also been underperforming but we need 2 or 3 changes not just 1. does louis think this will appease the supporters? We now have a heat leader trio of Poole (injured all of season will not be fit to start with and is he a number 1?) Tungate (brilliant season but again is he a consistent number 1?) and Dak which is ok as a third heat leader. What we should have done was bombed out Doolan Lanham and Risager and go for it. If any Ipswich fan thinks this move Poole for Doolan makes us so much stronger they are deluded. by all means we needed changes but not just this one!!!!!!!!!

People can you not realise what happened here? Im not Nicki Pedersens biggest fan he whinges and moans is over the top hard a lot of the time and basically cant take what he dishes out. BUT.....the stupid joker rule allows this to go on, he played by the rules of the competition nothing more. If people want to see riders racing properly get rid of the rule and it wouldnt have happened. It has happened many times before in the world cup, ok maybe not as obvious but we know it goes on. So summing up i still dislike Nicki but here he did nothing wrong. What would people rather see some deliberate crashes to stop people using the joker get a grip!!

Lets get this right. The joker rule is a farce and while allowed the teams will use it to their advantage. Im not Pedersens greatest fan but he did what he had to do. Also how brilliant is it to see Holder and Ward win naff all. Please dont let Holder become World Champ all the abilty in the world but his attitude when he gets beat is disgusting, the worst loser in the sport oh how i would laugh if he wins NOTHING this year

ha ha i have to laugh at somethnig i read on here earlier. that this was the best gb team in the last 20 years? ok that takes us back to 1992 and since then Loram , Havelock, Tatum, Wigg, Doncaster, Cross, Screen, Norris, Nicholls, Rico, yep this quartet definatly the best lol

no im not happy but it was my choice to put ward in so i will always go by the rules especially when you put a lot of time and effort for a competition fur us lot to enjoy. can somebody update on the injury ruling here please? i has kolodziej who isnt riding. do i score 0 or do i get his replacement which is pepe?

No guarantee that Hampel wont make the top 8 he has time, however whoever drops down to 9th will be in again. The organisers are hoping Vaculik will get through the challenge then we can have the token british rider in lol

Have to ask if there is a facility for a replacement if injured before it starts i.e Ward Event one: SAYFUTDINOV, IVERSEN, HANCOCK, KOLODZIEJ Event two: WARD (if out can it be Holder?), WOLBERT, KUS, CRUMP

ah you got to laugh at some people on here! Bash ive been a speedway fan for 30 years of my 36 year life, i followed mark loram around with my aunt and uncle and always went foxhall as lakeside or arena as it was was not built and we preferred the british league to national league though we did go to rye house a lot as we live in essex. i am not an alter ego of aljack i just happen to agree with what he says sometimes but not in his context always. check where else ive posted on this forum and hopefully you will see we are not the same person. i havent been to foxhall this season as family and work are a hinderence so maybe im not the best person to pass judgement on this years side but im an ipswich fan and want us to do ewell

It must be hard for a lot of you witches fans but i have been a fan for 30 years and can you not see Aljack is right? ok i will agree he goes to far sometimes in condemnation of individuals and im not a louis hater by any means but our club is a laughing stock. the win over glasgow just glossed over how badly our team is put together and the fact that when things go wrong our management do not make changes at all just trundle along to mid table (if we are lucky). look at scunthorpe gone and got morris and now have howe morris and auty as top 3! thats 45 points against our awful top 3 everytime lol. what i am saying is they are struggling and did something about it!

Lol Jepsen Jensen again hey lets give him a permanent wild card!! it should be a young pole most definatly same as when jepson jensen got the danish one and how i would imagine Tai will get our one! just waiting to see what gp they give Ward because chances are he will be the only wildcard that will be capable of actually winning a meeting thus taking points off the top boys. would be interesting when he is in the same race as Holder if he is chasing the world title!!
