Rye House V Ipswich 20 April League Cup
Gavan replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
We quite clearly have 2 under performing riders in Heeps and Tungate. Risager has been hit and miss but the other 4 have done well. I'm sure plenty of peaks and troughs don't get to down hearted yet its a marathon not a sprint. Cam will soon be at reserve and may need that confidence booster -

WOFFINDEN ZAGAR JONSSON HARRIS HARRIS TO REACH SEMIS!!! (Dont think any of the 4 will happen so go for most points)
-
i feel for Dakota having you following him around! theres a reason why he isnt riding over here. He isnt good enough or more importantly isnt as good as he thinks he is. He could do a job in the premier league as possibly a third heat leader or second string but you would have to control the ego

T.N.T no issues mate but if you havent got the time to do this i will take it over if you like?

Cant believe ive actually read what Darcy is saying! Suggesting Smolinski should have a 'yellow card' for what happened Saturday!!!! Pure racing incident he hit a rut!! Daft statement from Ward
-
why poke fun at a Brit? Ward is anything but ordinary he is an immense talent it's just the usual Poole mob who big him up to better than he is. He doesn't yet quite cut it at these big meetings and boy does he need to learn to stay on the bike! The accidents weren't his fault but he tends to be in the wrong place a lot if the time

After all the guff and bluster about certain riders should or shouldnt be in look at the NZ GP as proof that we have the best riders. Would anyone have predicted that none of last years top 3 wouldnt make the final? 3 much maligned riders, Smolinski, Lindgren and Bjerre all scored heavily proving they are entitled to be there. Darcy Ward failing to be on the pace. People moan about the likes Lindgren Bjerre and Jonsson being there as they will never be world champion which is a crap argument. Before the start the majority of people would say that the World Champion will come from Tai, NKI, Hampel Holder and Ward so you will always get riders making up the numbers. This Gp has proved our sport is still as great and unpredictable as ever
-
and shovvy is only spouting his usual garbage because he doesnt actually know the result as in his world there are only 2 riders who can be world champion and thats Holder or Ward.
-
and the award for the most ridiculous comment on this thread goes to??????????????????????

Well thats a turn up. Woffy clearly far from fit. Holder battling Nicki P again showing his class Darcy looked slow - will have better gp's but still struggles when the pressure is applied so doubt he would have got anywhere. hope he is ok after the crash

Ipswich Vs Rye House Thursday 27th March 7.30pm
Gavan replied to CardinalSin's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Cracking start to the season and for once we are going to be tough to beat at home. Could afford to carry Rohan tonight and Morten had problems but still a comfortable win. Cam looked sharper and can only get better. Gino was fantastic in his first ever meeting. Think we will always have 2 potent reserves wether Cam or Gino drop down. Don't forget this Rye side won at Peterborough carrying Garrity so very happy with the performance and result -
Peterborough V Rye House 18 March Challenge
Gavan replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I said in my predictions Rye would be up there and Peterborough wouldn't. No excuses at all for the panthers. R/R got 1 point. This it what happens when you build to top heavy and one or two don't fire. Well done the rockets! -
