Belle Vue v Ipswich Monday 30th June
Gavan replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
They got it wrong Ipswich won by 10 last time with a fit team Blodorn Lidsey and Cook got 8 between them It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to think that those 3 would score more than last time It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know we have riders struggling with injury … ok let’s say Brady is but that’s one rider We never do well at your place the KO cup match was first match and we was all fully fit … Im not a gambling man but there is no way I would expect a us to win tonight -

Too easy to predict what would happen Belle Vue heat leaders too good at home Doyle and Jenkins so far away from full fitness and so is Dan T I did say we would do well to keep this to 10 points …. Seems I know I more about speedway then Belle Vue fans who for some reason thought they would get beat easily …. Needs to brush up on their knowledge I think Last time Blodorn got 0 and r/r has 1 Lidsey got 5 and already on 6 Not hard to see that against a weakened Ipswich that Belle Vue should win -

Match going as predicted by those who know about speedway We need to stop Cook and the reserves now otherwise Belle Vue could pull away -

Why a miracle? Last time you lost 40-50 Blodorn got 0 Lidsey 5 Cook 3 If r/r gets 2 Lidsey gets 7 Cook gets 5 That’s an 8 point swing and 48 -42 Belle Vue Doyle King and Jenkins aren’t as fit as they were that night and ok let’s say Kurtz isn’t either …… I can see why you are playing it down but it certainly won’t be a miracle -

Belle Vue slightly weaker now although last time against witches Blodorn scored 0 so technically on that basis if r/r gets 1 the score will be closer than last time Ipswich do have 4 unfit riders but all getting close to full fitness with the possible exception of Jenkins Over 2 legs Ipswich are stronger but the home form of Belle Vue still means they are a huge threat Belle Vue have no chance of winning the league with the current 1-7 so I’d be hopeful of Ipswich getting within 5 points tonight -

If Emil can get 11 and then Tom and Doyle 8 each we have 27…. Danny 5 and Ellis 5 is 37… then hope our reserves can add 8 between them May be wrong can’t see Doyle on current form and fitness beating either Bewley or Kurtz I can see us beating beaten 9-3 on heats 13 and 15 so we have to make the most of every heat that doesn’t contain Bewley or Kurtz -

Last time heatleaders was Belle Vue 30 and Witches 21 with Lidsey managing 5 only of those I’d expect him to do better Second strings Belle Vue 3 and Witches 16….. Blodorn won’t score zero again and King is riding injured Reserves was Belle Vue 7 and Witches 13 but this time both Witches reserves are riding injured Belle Vue favourites but hopeful we can keep it to 50-40 -

Are you from the Steve Shovlar school of trolling Your heat leader trio will outscore our heat leaders fairly comfortably I would imagine our 2 and 4 will outscore your 2 and 4 but not by many Then yes our reserves on paper look stronger but both carrying injuries Add in that Doyle and King are injured I will be happy to keep it to 10 Kurtz will get a maximum as his injury has pretty much made him invincible …. Only beat once or twice since it happened so certainly no excuses there -

Ah but that skill from Emil is not proper overtaking as it’s not at the NSS and riding around the fence -
They won’t Emil and Jason ad good as they are will struggle to beat Bewley or Kurtz and Lidsey at home can score 10….. Ipswich can keep it close because Belle Vues other 4 riders are either inconsistent or not good enough Bewley Kurtz and Lidsey to get 35 between them…. Blodorn and Cook 8 and the reserves 6 As an Ipswich fan I can see 50-40 Aces which given how poor they are at Foxhall I would be happy with

Wow and you say you aren’t a troll lol Kvech last time scored 4 riding at number 5 from 4 rides meeting Bewley and Kurtz most rides His replacement scored 4 riding at number 6 If Kvech rode at 6 last night in the form he was in he would have had 7 rides against Belle Vues poor second strings and reserves…. Even if he had 7 rides and scored 7 it would have been a draw Blodorn one of the better number 2’s? He hasn’t kicked on this season I’m sure other teams would swap King Rowe, Becker , Riss and Iversen for Blodorn?? Not a chance By all means support your side but trolling and missing their shortcomings is blinkered and childish You have 2 of the best 4 riders in the league (Holder and Emil the other 2)…. At home those 2 will get 24-26 points a meeting almost unbeatable … but if the other 5 struggle you won’t win by much as proved last night ….. I love the stat about Bewley and Kurtz winning races last night …. They should against a side with no out and out heat leaders You will beat Ipswich next week I wouldn’t expect Doyle who beat the top two …maybe Emil might once or twice ….but if Cook and Blodorn don’t score well we might win

I agree …. Sheffield and in particular Belle Vue have built teams to win easily at home …. Both flaky on the road …. Leicester have beat both easily recently -
Belle Vue built their team to be good at home Kurtz and Bewley don’t lose many races Lidsey flies round there Trouble is Blordon is struggling … he normally goes well at home but he is poor this season …. Cook is inconsistent They don’t travel well so if they can’t win at home by more than 10 they won’t win over 2 legs

Job done tonight with 4 riders still not 100% but as Doyle said you show up for your side even if you are injured … -
Got to feel sorry for Kings Lynn without their best rider they would be romping this …. Belle Vue strongest top 2 in the league and a third heat leader that flies at home ….. Blordon is the worst number two in the league and the reserves are poor …. If Belle Vue want to win the league this season they have to be ruthless

Why? We all know Belle Vue is the best track in the league but you can’t go there every week Been some good racing and did you see Emil? Much better to watch that then the Belle Vue throttle jockeys -

Leicester normally ride Foxhall well so I don’t know where you get that comment from Honest interview from the Leicester manager … being bullied and beaten by a better side -
No because Kvech crashed and tried to complete the meeting but couldn’t … tried to race today and clearly can’t ride properly Kurtz crashed … carried on … one a race and almost won the final….. pulled a sickie on the Thursday … only to ride Friday and get a maximum and then win the GP on Saturday Kurtz could have easily rode Thursday he just didn’t fancy it

Age has nothing to do with it If he has lost confidence or whatever it is he is struggling with it’s simply tough … you can’t make special treatment for anyone Shawn Moran suffered at the end of his career with shutting off and not mixing it …. Because he was a legend of our sport should we have said let’s give him a lower average and let him ride Division Two? The fact Boughen is young and British is sadly irrelevant

Sorry yes I forgot that Leicester absolutely smashed you
