  1. Tell me about it lol I fully expect Swindon to win the league this season. Would be nice if we at Ipswich could prove a few people wrong and get in the top 4 but Swindon and Belle Vue and Wolves look like being 3 of the teams and then could be a straight fight between Ipswich and Lynn for the other spot....................................unless Poole make 13 changes again
  2. ah bless you Im not worried about Ipswich winning a major trophy im more concerned that my club keep running and that the sport survives I have been on the Ipswich threads quite a bit thanks, Skidder mentioned i hadnt said much on this thread.............hadnt made excuses for Ipswich being beat.......i was merely pointing out i expected us to get beat as proved by my prediction what else was there to say..... I do ok with predictions thanks .....got it spot on about Pooles flaky Poles last year...........and have said that Worrall will leave there soon.
  3. No Just posted on that thread.... Have a quick look Got everything pretty much spot on No need to say much else
  4. For the benefit of Skidder here was my post about the match Said Swindon’s heat leaders were good for about 35 points .... it was 32 Said our reserves would outscore Swindon’s by 8-10 points .... it was 11 Said 12 point win for the home side....... spot on
  5. If Poole were winning then yes.....disappears when they lose or there is a hint of controversy Poorly prepared track and Starman doesnt post because he cant say anything against his beloved Poole
  6. Good afternoon meeting at Belle Vue with no dust Stop blaming the shale or the direction of the sun or the side of the bed that was got out of.... Pooles track prep is nothing but a disgrace if it’s not bumpy and dangerous it’s dusty and dangerous. I see Starman has hardly commented at all on either how bad the team is or how bad the track is... anyone know if he is still posting
  7. Going to take a good team to push Belle Vue close at home. The team has 4 heat leaders at home and a strong 5th rider in Wells. The reserves are particularly strong at home as well All will depend on how they go on the smaller tracks....Berge and Lidsey only scored 1 between them at Ipswich
  8. As i said inconsistent ....helps that he has rode there so good choice of guest out of whose available.
  9. Cant see us getting to much from this as Swindon are my favourites for the league.....only 1 change will make them unstoppable in my opinion Doyle Batch and Tobi are good for around 35 points a meeting so it doesnt need to much from other riders to win a match Hoping our reserve duo might outscore the Swindon reserves by around 8-10 points which might give us some hope Lets hope Kurtz has a good day as he is very inconsistent will score anywhere from 6-12 12 point win for the home side for me
  10. Awww so you agree with what I said ..... or do you fancy being an adult
  11. Us at Ipswich seem to have the best reserve pairing in the league......so far. We have a weak top 5 but every rider seems to be chipping in with 7 or so or more and thats carrying us through At Poole at the moment they have Holder and Worrall struggling to get 6, and Josh and Brady doing ok Pooles reserves on paper should be doing so much better 2 home meetings so far......13 points and 2 race wins.......9 points and 0 race wins......thats not enough from the reserves for a team with strength in depth Ipswich (also built with strength in depth) 2 home meetings so far......17 points and 3 race wins.....17 points and 3 race wins.......thats why Ipswich are doing well and the top 5 with 6 or 7 each wins meetings. Poole need to axe Worrall and one of the reserves
  12. It was well known he didnt want to be at Poole but didnt have much choice The way its going he wont be there for long or will be down at reserve soon
  13. Nobody is ignoring that fact and i would think we all want to see Dan back to the level he was at. Foxhall isnt his favourite place anyway We were written off at the start and its nice to prove the doubters wrong
  14. Seems to have been passing in some heats Swindon seem sharper out of the gate Poole have a weak side at the moment but no doubt will change a few soon. From 10rides Holder and Kurtz have 11 points..... no excuses at home that is awful. Fair play to Klindt doing his job and attacking the track unlike others and beating Doyle And from someone who is there it appears Brady was guilty of trying to hard nothing to do with the track How pathetic to blame the track........Klindt is doing it why cant the others? Pooles number 1 beaten by Lampart sums it up.......is Jack average fiddling it seems that way
  15. Poole should be fined then if the track is that bad......disgusting to run a meeting in those conditions.... a club should not run a meeting on a dangerous track. Perfect speedway weather on a Bank Holiday and Poole cant provide a decent track....how poor Apparantly heat 13 was good between Doyle and Klindt Seems to me Poole riders dont want to attack the track......Batchelor who hardly likes tricky conditions is coping fine Woeful from Holder and Kurtz
  16. I disagree Although harder to control it should still be in the realms to expect a decent track Poor prep by Poole yesterday i wouldnt wonder
  17. Swindon seem to be 2 riders away from being the best team in the league A top 3 that are the best top 3 by some way in this league and a 4th rider in Ellis who can provide good back up. Need a good second string and one decent reserve change and the team will be very very good. Obviously there are big problems at Poole.............Holder out of his depth at one and Brady again showing his inconcistency. Reserves not winning races and r/r is outscoring what Worrall would have scored Klindt and to a lesser extent Josh the only Poole riders really doing their jobs so far
  18. Poole manage to somehow throw away a winning position and scrape a draw.... and a mate of mine who is actually been working in Bristol went to the meeting (Eastbourne fan) and said that the decision to exclude Doyle was farcical ( I wasn’t there just saying) Swindon’s issues are clearly the bottom 3 riders although the exclusion of Doyle cost them the win. For Poole it’s quite clear Jack Holder isn’t a number one and Worrall isn’t cutting it at all at the moment. Klindt had his first poor meeting so can be forgiven that and Brady saw the meeting out better. Pooles reserves will always keep them in meetings .... that is until they come up against Heeps and Allen at the top of the league Witches
  19. Oops Another solid home display by the witches and with a poor guest performance from Rory with only 6..... Seems that we may just do alright this season
  20. He has had previous before of being a hard man to pass and can himself be a bit naughty , certainly done it before Lets hope he isnt going to be as bad as the swede Dennis Andersson that rode for Poole....he was probably the dirtiest rider ive witnessed in a long time on a track along with the Dakota North incident at Ipswich once with Barker. For what its worth i dont believe NBJ is dirty before Poole fans start screaming......
  21. I may have this wrong but Lampart seemed to make the gate in most races according to updates and then seemed to be passed ....that bodes well to me for future performances on other tracks. Wolves will win most matches at home and for Swindon to only lose by 2 is a great result..............Doyle didnt win a race and Zach and Shanes as well as Lampart struggled
  22. It should be... You cant have 2 heat leaders and 2 second strings scoring only 10 between them
  23. I agree Just that for me those 2 riders are Pooles weak links at the moment Coupled with the fact that Brady and Jack are not getting 20 points a meeting between them will not help Poole as the season progresses But saying that very impressed with the start that Klindt has made
  24. Your point is? All im saying is that Brady has a history of doing well at the start of a meeting and then not so as the meeting progresses. He may have got roughed up as you say but the top top riders carry on scoring through the meeting and keep scoring 6 points form his first two and then only 2 from his next two. Whatever happened its a similar trend
