  1. Good win for Peterborough Must be some concern over Worrall and Covatti Would have thought Pooles reserves would have done much better Brady breaks the track record and then disappears when the going gets tough later on in the meeting
  2. This meeting showed up our possible shortcomings away from home.....cant have 4 of your top 5 scoring 4 or less thats shocking
  3. Tough match for Poole I like the look of the Swindon side. Rider for rider I make them the better team apart from at 2 and 7 and possibly 6
  4. Not a big fan of Middlo....dont think he is a great manager to be fair and his comments on social media are plain daft at times But you cant deny he is Poole through and through and dedicates himself If Poole want to run a meeting for him thats up to them and so be it. Dont think you will get fans of other clubs being bothered to come and see it though but thats there choice....will be a bit of a Poole love in. Has the greatest manager in Peter Adams had a benefit meeting for all he has done for a variety of clubs?
  5. Your missing what im saying. Im not picking out exact figures of what crowds Man Utd get and Wolves get. What im saying is that a top supported club be it in football or speedway can lose a number of fans who stop watching and still get more than a lesser supported team but its the percentage of people. In my analogy (forget the numbers) Man Utd 80000 fans....drops to 60000....a drop of 25% Wolves 40000 fans .....drops to 35000.....a drop of 12.5% Man Utd still get more fans. The point i am making here is Poole are probably the best supported team in the land. But if they get gates of 2000 and drop to 1500 then their fans are more fickle then a club who gets 1400 that drop to 1200
  6. Been discussed many times boring to go over it Its like saying Man Utd get 80000 and when they perform poor they go down to 60000 But a team like say Wolves may get 40000 and still get 35000 in the bad times..............just because Wolves get lower crowds in the first place doesnt mean a thing they are better supported through the good and bad times........ Poole are one of the best supported teams but still get a lot that disappear when it goes wrong ....just because they still get bigger crowds doesnt make the supporters less fickle Us at Ipswich get less fans than Poole but you cant beat our promotion for the way they do things especially on social media.............
  7. Poole fans are notorious for being quiet or simply not attending if team is doing poorly
  8. Don’t think Lynn struggled that bad on the first leg just had a poor number one that night who only got 4 instead of the usual 13 or 14 and a reserve who scored 0..... think over the 2 legs it shows not much between these two teams
  9. Spot on as I said before Holder isn’t ready to be a number one and Kurtz is flaky It gives me more faith that is at Ipswich will not be as bad as people think we are. Only Josh and the reserves did their jobs tonight
  10. Very poor performance from Poole tonight.... apparently Ipswich are the leagues cannon fodder and we put 59 past Lynn. Apparently the track is awful gate and go sums up why Worrall has 2 lasts and a win and Klindt has 2 wins and a last. Much better performance from Lynn tonight no excuses from Poole at all. So far this strength in depth team looks average or the track was poor. Jack Holder isn’t a number one and Kurtz yet again goes missing towards the later stages of a meeting.... No good riders like Worrall and Klindt getting 6 or 7 of the top two are only doing the same or less
  11. Yes Jack Holder and Covatti don’t know the Poole track lol. That’s the same Nico Covatti who got paid 8 points twice last season from number 3 yet is now a reserve ..... can’t see him struggling. Poole to hit 60 or they won’t be as good as Ipswich
  12. You cant be comparing Jack Holder to Robert Lambert surely? Poole have built a 1-7 that is solid with no number one. Jack Holder scored 6 away from home which is roughly what you would expect maybe 1 or 2 points more Robert Lambert scored 4.......you would expect 13 plus from him at home. Jack Holder scored roughly what was expected and Robert Lambert didnt.......Lamberts poor form cost Lynn a chance of the meeting. We have a number one in Chris Harris who would be expecting 7-9 most away meetings , in a similar bracket to Jack Holder who also isnt an out and out number one. Were you seriously expecting a double figure score from Jack Holder?
  13. Can only see a Poole win here by around 10 points. Be nice if against the odds Kings Lynn could win this
  14. No idea why certain riders price themselves out of a ride unless they don’t really want to be here in the first place. Lets face it Woryna was average at best last season..... was bigged up as the next big Pole.... Poole soon dropped him out of this seasons plans
  15. Are we the weakest team? Reserves who will score a lot of points every home meeting and a solid 1-5 who will score 7 or more in most meetings. Lynn look worse than us and so do Peterborough. Only need one other team to struggle and we can make the play offs in my opinion. Only Belle Vue look really strong this season
  16. Not stirring it at all....just no Poole fans seemed to comment on the Darcy story.....great rider....awful human being and his accident doesnt change that Poole Bolton was commenting on Pooles riders performances and so i was asking if he was happy with Covatti only getting 7 in what was a weak individual meeting For what its worth Poole look strong certainly better than the awful 1-7 they put together last season, and they shouldnt need to make a whole host of changes. I think teams will be closer than some imagine
  17. Good to see that Darcy is still the same nasty bit of work he always has been. At least when Middlo posts is just daft stuff...... Darcy it seems will never grow up or out of being not a nice person. Anyways back to the team and Covatti seems to be struggling a bit
  18. I agree that Trackrat goes a bit OTT (even though ive been accused of being him lol) But i like the way you still think it all jealousy
  19. Strange post Riders get a 2 minute warning What they do in those 2 minutes is up to them If they get to the tapes with 1 minute 30 seconds to go then they can garden for 1 minute 30 seconds. If they get to tapes with 10 seconds to go they can garden for 10 seconds The only gripe can be the length of time between races to put the 2 minutes on Im assuming you want the 2 minute warning to come on......no riders appear until 5 seconds to go
  20. Gollob a much better rider but can’t leave Donkey out as Gollob only did one season
  21. You can’t really mention Middlo in the same breath as Adams
  22. Ipswich 1. Tony Rickardsson 2. Chris Louis 3. Jeremy Doncaster 4. Billy Sanders 5. John Louis 6. Scott Nicholls 7. Dennis Sigalos Very hard to leave out 2 World Champions in Loram and Gollob but ive gone for longevity alongside individual success
