There were also assets on the last balance sheet of the dissolved company. These may of course have been disposed of/ removed between the date of the last accounts (31/07/22) and striking off!
-
If anyone was owed money in theory they could have objected to the striking off. As you rightly point out with no accounts filed it is possible HMRC’s records do not show anything as outstanding. Certainly if HMRC thought they were owed any money they should have objected but they are not particularly well organised to always pick such things up.

A good and sensible decision - I wish him well outside of Speedway.

On examining the records at Companies House it is interesting to note that striking off the company was listed in the London Gazette on 1 April 2025 (no joke). In the circumstances this company should not have been used to promote Workington Speedway this season let alone since 17 June 2025 when it was struck off.

It seems if his Polish fixture at Opole had been on he would have ridden at Plymouth on Saturday, Opole on Sunday and then Abensberg on Monday. With Opole being called off and then being required to travel to Abensberg for practice (a day earlier on Sunday) it has been mentioned he cannot get an early enough flight for the practice signing on which I believe is 12-12:30pm. There are still some flights bookable from London that arrive in Munich before midday but they may be cutting it a bit fine so I guess the decision was based on that. -
Jason only knows one way to race and unfortunately now he is not as quick as he once was he is bound to have more racing incidents. I have watched him race five times this season and only once did he get through the meeting unscathed. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery following his crash this evening.

Another Schroecker potentially! I also think Middlo probably gaffed with the TS though going one race too early. -

Yes indeed. With only two points needed from Sam for victory it seemed to be a no-brainer. -

I live about the same distance from Cardiff as I do Belle Vue. The appeal of Cardiff had clearly declined for many but I carried on going to the end and never missed one. The sub-standard line up and the comical points scoring system was already enough for me to decide I wouldn’t be doing another GP anywhere in a hurry. -

I have just been reading a 1933 Wembley programme and there was a rider called Mohammed Tella from Abyssinia (Ethiopia and Eritrea today). Mohammed lost both programmed match races against Leopold Killmeyer from Austria! -

Not many have done more for Speedway than Uncle Len. R.I.P.

From my own experience of being in the pits with riders most are naturally focused on doing their own rides and one thing I have discovered when helping riders is how the time between races seems to pass a lot quicker in the pits than it does on the terraces. I doubt many riders would be fully in tune with potential tactical issues during the meeting.
