  1. I don’t think Will is going to be riding for BV on Friday or for that matter Leicester on Sunday as he is due to be riding in California on Saturday!
  2. This looks like an interesting meeting in Holland. Not often one sees British clubs riding abroad these days! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1CWwXTGswh/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  3. The BSPL website has indeed been changed again but it is now showing Glasgow (BSN) once more on 10 October and no mention of Poole (KOC)! I wonder how many more attempts they will need?
  4. Yes whoever has been updating fixtures on the website is really struggling at the moment! Currently Redcar v Glasgow (BSN) and v Poole (KOC) same time same date!
  5. Well if anyone wanted an example of how Speedway fans are treated with complete contempt you have it at Oxford today!
  6. I’ve been saying all season that this Ipswich team is quite beatable. Next week will be a tough one.
  7. Maybe you only need to trot out that line when you fiddle the semi-final draw? 😄
  8. Yes that’s still quite possible so I have updated my post.
  9. Leicester’s home and away legs take place during the week commencing Monday 15 September.
  10. Leicester will play Sheffield unless of course Sheffield finish top! 😊
  11. Well you have 4th spot now confirmed and Leicester will finish either second or third. Not sure about Sheffield and Ipswich but no doubt the powers that be have it all under control! 🤷‍♀️
  12. Unfortunately Jordan had another bad crash at Oxford tonight so the Witches may well decide to stick with Jason.
  13. I agree with much of what has been said. Nothing wrong with a draw. It’s just a gimmick that needs to end up in the bin with the likes of six lap races and double points for tactical rides.
  14. Czestochowa v Torun now moved to Friday 1 August so KOC Final first leg on Monday 28 July will not be impacted.
  15. There were also assets on the last balance sheet of the dissolved company. These may of course have been disposed of/ removed between the date of the last accounts (31/07/22) and striking off!
  16. Doyle is an out and out racer which is admirable but I agree there are times when you need to ride a bit more sensibly!
  17. If anyone was owed money in theory they could have objected to the striking off. As you rightly point out with no accounts filed it is possible HMRC’s records do not show anything as outstanding. Certainly if HMRC thought they were owed any money they should have objected but they are not particularly well organised to always pick such things up.
  18. Oxford always had a home match scheduled for Monday. The opponents were swapped from Belle Vue to Ipswich.
  19. I don’t doubt you at all. It also makes very good sense to have a guest ready and waiting.
  20. Yes I thought that and Berwick made a point of stating he was returning. As you say it’s a bit strange how it is already known Cookie will be unwell again come Monday!
  21. A good and sensible decision - I wish him well outside of Speedway.
  22. On examining the records at Companies House it is interesting to note that striking off the company was listed in the London Gazette on 1 April 2025 (no joke). In the circumstances this company should not have been used to promote Workington Speedway this season let alone since 17 June 2025 when it was struck off.
