  1. No-one at Berwick should want Glasgow out the play-offs - just want Berwick in to join them. Then we might get a re-run of Saturday night!
  2. The Glasgow match won't mean a hill of beans if they don't win this one!
  3. You are correct in both instances. Coty was very much the unsung hero tonight. But what a way to end the season - the noise and atmosphere in Ht 15 (and after the stoppage) was terrific....
  4. You're usually spot on with this sort of thing, Neil -- but the Championship extension (to 19th) has been fairly widely reported?
  5. Current forecast on just about every weather site is rain tonight, lighter rain during morning, dry after 2pm. Sunny but cold (13C) in evening.
  6. Haven't seen this advertised anywhere, is it available to the public?
  7. Among all the fine-tuning of turnstile operations, what do we reckon will happen out on the track on Saturday?
  8. The Edinburgh fixture was the original one on this date, hence the additional match is always added as the second. Obviously the Bandits hope there will be a sizeable support from both visiting clubs -- each ready to cheer on the home side against each other!
  9. See the opening post to the thread. Fuller info from club@berwickspeedway.com
  10. Recent meetings have run very smoothly, despite crashes and collections. Adjustments in the pits have allowed easier in-and-out traffic, and the staff there are very experienced. There shouldn't be any rider-replacements, and Mr McGregor will be intending to push things along from his box. The prospect has to be for a great night, with both sets of visiting fans cheering on the Bandits in at least one of the matches!
  11. It is 4.34. Less than Connor Mountain and Coty Garcia, who are reserves elsewhere.
  12. Thomas rode 34 matches for Edinburgh, which is a fair record, given two injury periods. Bandits need him for five. We'll be fine.
  13. With the first home appearance of new signing Thomas H Jonasson, a local derby against their nearest, dearest (and oldest) speedway rivals, an NJL mini-match to follow the first £500 draw for the 5-1 scheme -- and a chance to donate to the SRBF collection, Saturday should be a good night out at speedway!
  14. Could even be that Tigers will feel they need points from Berwick to top the table (and get first pick in play-offs). Which should make them even more-interested in being at Shielfield.
  15. Except -- Kevin admitted last night (despite a heroic performance) that he was 'pretty bashed up' after the crash on Wednesday........... At Sheffield, Berwick's best hope (by far) would lie with Dany Gapp.
  16. Detailed fully on Jamie's page in last night's programme.
