  1. Not Scott's fault he isn't riding: @scottnicholls78: @AJROSCO not forgetting our powers that be blocked me from doing this event didn't they? Was I not the rider that fought to get UK riders in?
  2. Quite right stevebrum; Zagar, Hans, Bjerre, AJ & Freddie could all join Holder as second-strings soon, riding against FTR's. Bonkers
  3. Got to admit I wouldn't change any of our riders except 1st fast track; although when Steve Boxall's back, we should improve. Just need Mikkel to get on top of his bike problems, sad to see him struggling I can understand why the Swindon fans were moaning last season about FTR; massive disadvantage & nothing you can do about it
  4. Care to spill the beans Shads Wish Luke the best of luck, as you couldn't meet a nicer guy
  5. He retired after the Peterborough match, when Len was arguing with the riders over track prep. Personally I think Luke was just annoyed with all the politics
  6. Is Jason Garrity the new Nicki Pedersen? Tried taking Ellis to the fence in Ht.5 & was trying the same on Newman at Poole, several times, in the final last year
  7. Seems Len oversees track prep at PL & Andrew at NL. Problem is when there are double headers. Think we need it to be independent
  8. Strange how the only 2 times this season the track has been dusty & devoid of shale are the 2 double-headers! Wouldn't surprise me if some people thought someone was trying to sabotage the Raiders meetings...
  9. Alternatively, if Warren can keep Len clear of track prep, I reckon double-headers would be fine
  10. Unfortunately Sunday's (10 May) Match against Kent Kings at Hi-Edge Raceway has had to be cancelled. This is due to environmental issues which cannot be rectified in time for Sunday, but should be sorted next week. http://www.buxtonhitmen.co/news.php?extend.363 Guessing the wind has caused some damage
  11. Also think it is in Chris Holders head. From the few meetings I've seen, this year/end of last year (not just at Poole), he's keeping well away from the fence; where he used to excel Like others, I hope he gets back to his excellent best, as brilliant to watch
  12. Just for the record, Eddie Kennett didn't choke in Ht.15. Took a mega move by Danny King around the outside T2 to deny him; after that he couldn't get around the team riding bees. Never gave up trying though Can't ask for more than that
  13. Little bit, but some great races by Luke Chessell, Shaun Tedham, Tom Perry & Danyon Hume. Main thing was the track was not rutty & no soft parts, like previous. I enjoyed it anyhow
  14. Track was fantastic v Rye House, much improved on last season. Some great racing
  15. Lyon forgot the magic words "moisture's seeping from the track"
  16. 1:58:18 for some quite unusual interval entertainment. Wonder if they'll be performing at a league meeting in the UK soon!
  17. Loved the entertainment after Ht.16 - Wonder if it might catch on in the UK Echo all the well done Robert Lambert comments on here - Great racer
  18. Would've been happy if they got some of the things right last weekend - Catalogue of errors
  19. Please enlighten me Humphrey; how was it possible to finish 5th in a 4TT? Sounds fantastic. British speedway always guaranteed to put a smile on your face Thanks in advance
  20. If the referee didn't exclude him, why didn't he ensure he was back in the race before proceeding? Quite odd
  21. Nice comment by PK on his record no. of appearances for the Wolves - said he wasn't particularly bothered, didn't mean that much to him, but he supposed Sam would be crying in his bed right now Disappointing result tonight, going to be a tough season for us with the reserves even struggling at home. 4pts at Leicester tomorrow hopefully...
  22. unfortunately not sidney, sounded a good meeting. Came down for the Ben Fund & Lakeside (another good meeting) will be down 30/07 for Lakeside - Hope to see some work being done on the new stadium next door. All the best
  23. Glad you enjoyed it sidney, but more importantly did oldace turn up? Hasn't posted on this thread since!?! #taughtalesson
  24. @Lakesidelive: We understand that the Kent Kings' application for a 9.30pm curfew on a Friday night was successful last night, we await official word.
