He's coming home in ten days. I'll just ask him then.

Really. I'd better ring him and tell him. You seem to know more than me ( and him for that matter )

The Beginning Of The End Of The NlJonny the spud replied to Argos's topic in National League Speedway When Adam rode for the Isle of Wight, he was never flown in, I drove him twice and after that he moved in with Matt Read who has helped him ever since. I think maybe later in the year he had one flight and I paid for that so that he could see his Family as being 16 and a long way from home he was feeling homesick. There seems to be a lot of posting recently about him being sponsored with vans by clubs and one even suggested he took the easy route this year in the NL to get a minimum of £600 a meeting. All complete bollocks i'm afraid . Adam left school early and committed himself to chasing his dream, shame some posters feel the need to spout misinformed crap.

Birmingham Brummies 2015Jonny the spud replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in National League Speedway Harvie took part in the re run after falling off at Eastbourne, problem was five minutes later he had no recollection of it, he'd taken quite a bang on the head. He was a part of the team, just as everyone else who contributed points was. They all deserve credit.

Cov Storm V Brummies Fri 17thjulyJonny the spud replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in National League Speedway Adam was born to British parents and has a British passport. When he won at Marmande last Monday the club gave him the option of god save the queen or le Marsallaise on the podium Let's just say there's nothing better than hearing the British national anthem being belted out on French Independence Day !

Cov Storm V Brummies Fri 17thjulyJonny the spud replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in National League Speedway Maybe the ref should have looked at the two photos that showed the rider next to him touching the rapes with both his front mudguard and his helmet peak. Then gone to specsavers... Didn't matter really. Just fired Adam up all the more.

I've supported ipswich for a few years now ( obviously ) and although i haven't followed this particular incident too closely, I take anything said in public ( by either riders or management ) with the biggest pinch of salt imaginable. Riders have ups and downs and sometimes the different between success and giving up can be measured in millimetres . What's said in public and what goes on behind the scenes are two completely different things. debate is a good thing but experience tells me that whats on here is rarely the full picture. I hope you guys turn it around for the rest of the season.

Tuners are engineers , it's not just a case of bolting bits on or they'd all be doing it. You can bet that as soon as the Gerhard engine goes on general sale, every tuner will but one, strip it down and start looking on ways to improve it.
