Yes the "nearly" factor is frustrating but the team have proved that when they're firing on all cylinders together they're unbeatable. Almost all the riders have gone through a rough patch at some point throughout the season and there have been calls on here for them to be replaced, but at the end of the day we finished third, got to the KO finals and more importantly all 7 riders that we started the season with are still there ! Edinburgh were unbeatable this year and congratulations to them but with their success comes a problem. They'll be over the points limit for next year and a winning team will be broken up. I wish I had the answer but I don't, but the team spirit in the pits this year has been fantastic and although there are moaners i'm sure there's a hell of a lot of other teams below us who'd love to be in our position.

Adam, Bellego and Teessarieu in the same team ? You'd have baguettes and cheese in the snack bar within a month

I know they were protected all year but has anyone actually calculated their averages ?

I'd say it's a bit disappointing for the two guys who've ridden their arse off to get the nod for heat 15.

Used to subscribe but don't now. If you look at the online version it's just like a lads mag with busty women every other page. Trying a bit too hard to be extreme and failing

I do an internal audit ( asking customers opinions) And an external audit ( looking at my competitors) every three months. It let's me know what I'm doing right / wrong plus I get to "borrow" any ideas from my competitors that I think I can work with. It's not rocket science

Bearing in mind most speedway fans have a pen on them ( for filling in programmes) how about CL fitting in a questionnaire on a separate piece of paper and slipping it in a programme. Fans could drop it in a box as they leave and hey presto. Without any real effort on the clubs part you have a survey of people who go week in week out from which you could formulate next years business plan ....

I left it because it made some of the posters on here look sane !

Was just looking at the Ipswich website and it struck me that we're using the same 7 riders that we started the season with, I can't be arsed to check the other teams but this strikes me as a good thing .

Maybe a lack of sponsorship means that riders are unable to keep in top of servicing. It happens ....

The loss of Barker should equal out with Gino unfit. Should be a close one but witches to win.

I'm liking this late season away form. Roll in the play offs. Ipswich are not looking as wobbly as a month or so ago.

4 heats 2nd half / junior race 4 heats 2nd half / junior race etc....... no need to hang around after a meeting, more heats, ( more for your money) FT system to be extended to the PL, U21 riders only
