If Poole were riding like Swindon currently are the bunting would already be out with the champagne in the chiller.
What can go wrong for Swindon? (other than an unfortunate injury) Favourites at the bookies and with fans of the sport. For a change we are genuine underdogs.
Your top 5 have all clicked at the same time and reserves scoring a few as well. Robins will win both legs of final no matter who they race against. IMO.
Ipswich are gone. Dead. Finished. Swindon will slaughter the Witches. Poole would have come away with 4 points tonight had Josh been riding. Heeps was missing but his form has gone the same way as the rest of that side.
But let’s be honest here. With the form Swindon are in, there’s really no stopping them from going unbeaten through the rest of the season including the playoffs. Can’t see anyone getting near them on their current form. And Swindon fans know this as well. Only thing to stop them is injury and I wouldn’t wish that on them.
Who is This? (Not in chronological order)
Home. 1*, 1*, 2*, 0, 2, 0, fx, 1*, 0, 2, 1.
Away. 0, 1, 1*, 2, 1, 1*, 2, 0, 0, 0, 3, 2.
Can anyone work it out?
Clue. It’s the riders first ride from every meeting this year.
Ipswich should win this fairly comfortable if Josh is out injured. While they have collapsed recently, they are riding at home with a greatly strengthened lineup.
Iversen is a proper number one and capable of going through the card unbeaten. Allen has dropped to reserve. King is on form. Lawson and Harris are decent riders who have struggled in the last few meetings but are still capable.
Pirates have lost their Mr reliable, plus no longer have Covatti at reserve. Wells has been poor overall. THJ is really a complete unknown in what he will do.
To be honest an Ipswich win is not a bad result for us. We don’t want Wolves to make top 4 ahead of Belle Vue.
