NBJ has been off form the last few meetings but rather he rode than a guest.

A newly laid track will be a leveller. I am hoping for a Pirates win for our march up to the top of the table but feel it could be close.

The issue is the base. Cardiffs track is laid on a hard flat surface. The Wimborne road track has an uneven base so it doesn’t matter how much shale is pit on, it doesn’t solve this issue. We’ll soon see if the track problems have been sold on Thursday night.

Wolves fans on twitter saying the Worrall exclusion was a farcical decision by the ref. A shame I couldn’t make it for this one but hope to get there for the B fixture. If Worrall hadn’t been excluded and Kurtz had stayed on in heat 4 we would have got the extra point. Still, a very good win and the team can be proud.

If Wolves had kept Nicholls they would have probably won tonight. Thorsell isn’t doing well anywhere.

Bloody hell DC2, posting on a Poole thread this late in the season? Normally you are hiding by now.

Some Wolves fans on Twitter are saying Schlein should have been excluded for his clash with Worrall.

Just need top 4. We will be there when it matters. Next stop Thursday and at home to Belle Vue on our newly laid track. Might catch the boys out!

We are a good team though lack firepower in heats 13 and 15. Josh and Brady not featuring proves my point. Didn’t expect much tonight so a draw is great.......

That’s 2 points lads! Would have taken that before then meeting but we really should have had the win by now. Wolves off 1-3in heat 15 with Masters and Schlein. Surely they will get the draw.

I haven’t see the footage but it sounds like Schlein made an inside lunge and Worrall tried to block. wolves look very strong in the remaining heats. That Worrall exclusion could well bite.

The ref said Worrall blocked Schlein.

And there goes the meeting...... we are throwing away too many points again. A 3-3 in heat 4 turned into a Wolves 5-1 and a Poole 5-1 in the last turned into a 3-3.

Heat 6 Howarth passed Kurtz.

Not at all. Been a fair amount of passing listening to the radio commentary.

I would agree with all of that. The track wasn’t good. We all know that but the expected venom thrown on this thread was as expected. The track at Swindon last bank holiday evening was far worse than last night and caused Doyle to withdraw with an injury. Wasn’t on tv though for everyone to witness. Wimborne Road is a fantastic racetrack. We all know that. I hope the work about to be undertaken brings it back to its best.

Exactly. He stuck his screwdriver in on the first bend, deflated it and a poor young yank paid the price!

Tatum’s fault. Went around vandalising it before the meeting by sting a bloody screwdriver in it!
