  1. We don’t beat anyone by large margins. It’s not how the team is made up. A close meeting either way with I hope 3 points to Poole.
  2. Nonsense to compare what they did last time and say they would do exactly the same again. Covatti could easily have scored double figures last night on his current form.
  3. The video above has a commentator reading the weather forecast in Danish over the racing.
  4. Hopefully he won’t be out for long. Wishing him a speedy recovery as I guess everyone else is.
  5. Remember a very young Josh at the old BV track have a perler on bend three when on Sky. He was leading the Poole heat leaders at the time. Isn’t BV his local track? Thought he lives in Manchester.
  6. Under normal circumstances of a full team but we will have reserves not used to our track who will have to take 3 of Worralls 4 rides.
  7. After our fabulous win at Belle Vue last night we are back to Wimborne Road on Thursday night for the visit of strengthened up Kings Lynn. This is a very tough meeting for Poole against a side packed with Poole track specialists. Riders like Lambert, Palm Toft, Riss and Cook all go well here. Pirates need to remain at the top of our game to win this one. Again it will be r/r for Worrall which weakens us no doubt. We will have to see who guests at reserve A very close one.
  8. Belle Vue fans should whinging on here should just admit they were beaten by a far more determined Poole side who themselves were devastated by injuries. Middlo showing why he is the best manager in the country by getting the very best out of his patched up side, leaving Lemon in his wake. Pirates serious title contenders. The replacement for Worral will be crucial
  9. Can’t see how you could have Vissing. Think Neil Watson has it spot on.
  10. Lol. Even Coombdog saw the funny side of my lighthearted banter. Up the Pirates! #piratepride.
  11. Of course that would have meant Bickley out in heat 14 which would have gifted Poole a 4-2. Or heat 12 reserve swap which would have given a Poole heat advantage. It would have made no difference swapping him out as what you gain in one you lose in another.
  12. Best wishes to Hans. Hope it’s not serious. Ipswich and Poole the top two teams in this league. Hopefully will be the final.
  13. Didn’t last long but won’t be the last time this season.
  14. Good post. Fricke is without doubt a GP star of the very near future. Poole clearly wanted this and it was great to see every rider give everything to the cause.
  15. Oops. So Geoff are you now going to admit Pirates were by far the better team, or are you going to make excuses about guests?
  16. Well we were without Covatti and NBJ who would have seen off Berge, and Richie’s rides picked a meagre 4 points. He would have done that or probably more judging by your team tonight. Have to say I don’t see BV in the playoffs. Hope I am wrong.
  17. Pirates currently top! https://photos.app.goo.gl/eKcmXnbtpsMtZMyM6
  18. Shows how good Pirates rode tonight as we we never likely to compete very well in 13 and 15. But the job was done earlier and what a delightful victory. If we can choose in the playoffs we will definitely be back up to Manchester if Belle Vue are top 4. (Doubtful) Well done to the whole team. Our guests did OK but Covatti would have filled his boots tonight. Happy as Larry. Shut that door!
