  1. If Iversen is out I would put money on Morris riding for Lynn. Chapman has wrecked the first leg he may as well make it a pair.
  2. Matt Ford is unable to appeal this is not covered in the rulebook. So basically the final has officially become a complete and utter farce.
  3. They can be used as they are no longer in the playoffs. The rule was for teams who are actively in the playoffs. So riders from BV and Somerset should now be available.
  4. I knew early last week. All announcements are news worthy and released accordingly for maximum exposure.
  5. Rubbish. Kings Lynn need to look elsewhere for the good of the sport. They were too late. Unfortunate but r/r or Bellego/Thorsell, Tungate/S Worrall the choice is out there.
  6. If bother are in place for Poole, Chapman should look elsewhere. For the good of the sport.
  7. Who caused this scenario? Buster Chapman. He knew Ellis was riding for Poole in the second leg.
  8. No he wouldn’t. He would never pull such a stunt and would have chosen someone else or gone with r/r. Matt is peed with the sport because of the way it has been run. This, tonight, has proven why he is peed.
  9. The thing is, it was the BSPA Chairman, Buster Chapman, who has asked Adam Ellis to ride at Poole, complete in the knowledge that he is turning out for Poole just 48 hours later, live on tv in from]nt of tens of thousands at home on tv he knew this. But clearly he just doesn’t care. No thought for the credibility of the sport. No thought to what the casual fan would think. No thought for his own fans or the fans of the other team in the final, who see this showcase event now as a complete shambles. Buster Chapman had other options. He could even had gone with r/r. It would have shown integrity. I am not saying this to try and get an advantage over our rivals, but for the good of a sport we all love and enjoy. Win or lose, the integrity of the sport is far more important than winning or losing the final. I would much rather lose in a great battle which came across fair and square with everyone talking about it for the right reasons, then watch this sorry mess unfold right before our eyes. Something needs to be seriously done here. For the good of the sport. Immediately.
  10. He will probably be turning out for Lynn. Complete farce! Lynn management knew Ellis was riding for Poole, had other options, but chose to wreck the showcase event. Disgraceful!
  11. I was feeling the old squeaky bum time this evening. Its gone. The final is dead in the water. Effin joke after a whole season. What a complete farce.
  12. Middlo far from happy with this situation. Says it makes the sport an effin joke. No rule in place to stop it happening. Said a lot more not for this forum!
  13. The rider should have said I am already booked, sorry. I know riders like bookings but on the occassion, for the good of the sport, he should tell Lynn they are too late.
  14. The showpiece event, the pinnacle of the league season, live on tv in front of a huge audience, and we have a rider turning out for both teams. How can this possibly be allowed to happen? It is beyond a joke. Surely such a scenario should never be allowed to happen for the good of the sport. The presenters are going to have fun explaining that one away. If Iversen had got injured last week and they had booked Ellis, there’s no way on gods earth I would want a rider in my team who rode for the opposition in the other leg. The rules should have covered this. I know riders need to earn a living and take bookings, but this is the final, not a cup meeting or even just a league meeting. It comes across of a footy match with mates over the wreck. One team loses a player when his mum shouts out teas ready so one lad swaps sides to even it up. How can the sport be taken seriously when this happens? It’s ruined the final.
  15. Well it’s confirmed. The final has become a complete embarrassing joke. https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/16966848.adam-ellis-to-guest-for-pirates-and-kings-lynn-in-play-off-final/
