  1. Morris is riding. All legal and sactioned. If you go back about 30 pages it was discussed in detail.
  2. Just watched heat 12. You are right. Jakobsen was through into the lead as Toft had drifted off the racing line. People think this is a non contact sport but that’s not true of course. Two riders cannot be excluded in the same race for touching the tapes. Ellis was on a warning and didn’t need to touch the tape to go. edit. Just watched heat 13. Ellis call correct. He definately touched the tapes before Harris. No suprise he was rolling all night.
  3. I heard they have been Adam Ellis for the KO Cup final meetings against Somerset.
  4. Well that reeks of desperation. He never ride over the grass to get to the start. Next!
  5. Ellis had already been warned, so any movement would result in an exclusion.
  6. So why should Worrall have been excluded? Still waiting for a reply on that one.
  7. So you are NOT neutral. Thanks for confirming it. By the way the playoffs are the best bit of the whole season imo. Love them.
  8. Your info is out of date. Thought I saw some passing last night. Heat 12 Jakobsen. I asked Jakobsen in the press conference if he touched Toft. He said Toft left a huge gap and he took it. This is a final and you go for it.
  9. You have been anti Poole in every post since the semi. Ate you going to cheer on Poole or Lynn tomorrow? My money would not be on the former.
  10. Got away with what? Riding superbly? Didn’t expect 16 point lead in my wildest dreams.
  11. No team is going to pay any large fee for a rider that might do a Woffinden in a season or two.
  12. I can understand your frustration of coming so far, finishing top, and it seems everthing went against you, but in the clear light of day I don’t believe the ref actually got much wrong except not to exclude Ellis twice more for his constant rolling at the gate. Ellis had been warned before he was excluded. He didn’t have to touch the tapes. Moving was enough for the ref to exclude him. Simple as that. As for Palm Toft. He left a whopping great gap entering the third bend. Jakobsen didn’t need a second invite and charged through. Toft tried to close the gap but Jakobsen was already there. Fair call. All this blaming off the ref is of course anti Poole BSF herd mentality. Kings Lynn were better than they usually are at Poole. But one team wanted it more. Middlo gets some unjust stick on here but last night shows what a man manager he is by getting the boys fired up. Wednesday is going to be tough. But we can do it.
  13. No. Iversens season is finished he wont be riding in the meeting on Wednesday or KO Cup.
  14. So “The Peoples Team” Poole Pirates have a reasonable lead to take north tomorrow. Raced last night on a fairly prepared track, will the compliment be reciprocated? I somehow doubt it. I don’t think the word “racing” will come into it tomorrow. Super grippy IMO with huge gaps between riders. It will almost certainly be a gating competition. The boys need to be ready for it and it won’t be an entertaining meeting racing wise. And I am expecting Kings Lynn to take a healthy lead before the track slickens off. No last places will be the order of the day. Come on boys we can do this!
  15. Well I have just read through this thread with tears of laughter in my eyes. What a load of Poole haters on here tonight. Mind you I do agree with one thing. The ref made a howler. He warned Ellis. And what happened? Ellis then rolled to two victories. The crowd clearly saw him roll but the ref let it go. Very unfair. What’s the point of warning a rider then allowing him to get away with it twice more? Elliss got his come uppance in heat 13 and heat 15, but the six points he scored shouldn’t have happened. As for everything else, I though the ref got it all correct. Toft took a dive, could easily have stayed up. This is the final. Racing is hard. If there was the slightest of touches, it wasn’t enough and like Doyle last week, the refs are wised up. Pirate fans couldn’t have asked or expected for more. A 16 point lead. In all the playoff history I can’t remember such a lead being turned over, so Kings Lynn will have to break records to win the title this year. A fabulous performance from the boys, who even after allowing Kings Lynn a comeback mid meeting pulled away again. Is 16 enough? Possibly. Possibly not. Middlo said in the post meeting conference that Buster Chapman has already spent the day cooking the track to make it ultra grippy, as he did last time when Poole visited. The boys said they were all expecting it to be grippy and will be ready for it. Very pleased at half time. The boys have said there will be no complacency and they will be going to Kings Lynn to win. Expecting Kings Lynn to come out all guns blazing so we will need to keep it tight.
  16. About 20-25 Lynn fans on the second bend. Just said hi to Trees. There fans seem confident of at least getting a draw tonight if not a win. Crowd building nicely. Spoke to Nigel Pearson. He said BTarr more than happy with covering speedway. Expecting large viewing figures tonight as no live football.
  17. So. Naughty Naughty Lynn. Hearing some right shenanigans this afternoon. Tut tut.
  18. A better and more sensible solution would have been to have told Lynn they can’t use either rider as both had a deal with Poole. Use r/r or another guest. Fair and sensible.
