  1. Its like saying James shanes is a world beater after scoring a maximum 15 at the begining of last season for Poole against Wolves. At least ten meetings needed to show a true average. A meaningless 90th anniversary meeting where riders are testing etc and one home meeting against Swindon are not a true reflection of a riders average.
  2. The sample size is far too small to say that. If he had a high averge over 10-12 meetings then fair enough. But the 90th anniversry plus one league meeting are not enough to give a true average!
  3. Worralls home average at the end of last season was 6.55. Call it 7. So you are saying r/r won’t get 7? Fricke will get 3. Tungate 2 or 3. Starke 1 or 2, Bewley 2 or 3. That’s at least 8, covering easily.
  4. What are you Actually doing on a Poole thread if you don’t like Poole? If I don’t like something I don’t set up camp there. I avoid what I don’t like. If I set up camp on the Ipswich thread and posted the same drivel you post on here, they would think I am some kind of nutter needing assistence from the local loony bin. The only reason you post on a Poole thread is quite simply because you are an internet troll. There is absolutely no other reason. I know it, you know it and so do the majority of fans who frequent the Poole thread. oh, and the last time I looked James Shanes is a young Brit.
  5. Have to laugh at you. On Wednesday you stated Belle Vue would have won at Poole but for Cook and Worrall missing. Now Cook is back and r/r covers Worrall very well, Belle Vue are at home and Poole, with the same team, are going to win away by at least 10? The trouble is Gavan you can be read like an old book. This post was made for the sole purpose of coming on here on Monday night after the meeting to say how Poole choked against a “so called” weakened Belle Vue team. The Aces aren’t really weakened at home. Worrall can be covered easily with r/r. Etheridge is no loss at all. A rider from the Colts team could easily strengthen the Aces. If Poole win it will be hard won. We have a chance, yes, but Belle Vue are still favourites to win the meeting. They are a likely playoff team. You will have to do better than that.
  6. Of course he is flying in the lower league. He’s a good up and coming rider! What’s your point, if you have one? Most Poole fans wanted Ellis in the team. It is just another of your repeated ad nauseam posts trying to get some small dig in on the sports best speedway promoter? We get it. You hate Matt Ford. Change the record it’s boring.
  7. Matt Ford really has stepped up his game on the social media side of the business. This was needed a few seasons ago but he has wised up to the fact that the online presence was lacking. Well done to the club for putting all this new media out to the Pirate fans.
  8. I will be there. Phil said he will point you out to me. Will introduce myself. Hope you’re not a sore loser.
  9. Is the forum going to go into meltdown in the next week or so?
  10. Thought you would be crying on the Lakeside V Ipswich thread trying to work out how your so called team got humiliated. But no, we find you on the Poole thread as usual. As a matter of interest Skidder said the virtually same as me. But his was “unbiased”. Lol.
  11. Love it when Matt asked Michael Lee, ‘where did it all go wrong”?
  12. Pedersen seems completely rejuvinated. Superb racing from the veteran. Looks very healthy. Clearly been seriously working on fitness, and it’s paying off.
  13. Perhaps Matt has a deal with PK for a certain amount of meetings?
  14. With Vaculik now out for a period, Kildemand will be finished at Poole by next week. Could make a good replacement.
  15. I might be biased but please don’t tar me with the same brush as mff.
  16. Poole’s track last night looked fine before the meeting. If I hadn’t been told it was spongy I would have been non the wiser. When the tractors graded the track took a shine, showing how much moisture was in the track. I would believe Swindons was probably similar to Pooles last night but with added late drizzle. A very unfortunate injury.
  17. No need for any of that. If both teams agreed to give it a go, it’s just an unfortunate racing accident.
  18. So what happened exactly? A rain shower just before start time? Rotten luck on Vaculik. Let’s all hope it’s not as bad as the reports have stated and he is back racing again very soon.
  19. Are you coming next week to sit in front of us again so we can all have a laugh?
  20. Bloody hell what a disaster. Meeting abandoned Vaculik possible broken leg. Leicester seem to have rotten luck with their Polish riders. Get well soon Martin.
