Poole’s track last night looked fine before the meeting. If I hadn’t been told it was spongy I would have been non the wiser. When the tractors graded the track took a shine, showing how much moisture was in the track. I would believe Swindons was probably similar to Pooles last night but with added late drizzle. A very unfortunate injury. -

No need for any of that. If both teams agreed to give it a go, it’s just an unfortunate racing accident. -

So what happened exactly? A rain shower just before start time? Rotten luck on Vaculik. Let’s all hope it’s not as bad as the reports have stated and he is back racing again very soon. -

Bloody hell what a disaster. Meeting abandoned Vaculik possible broken leg. Leicester seem to have rotten luck with their Polish riders. Get well soon Martin. -
Lindsey won’t get near a point. Ridiculous he has a team spot to be honest.

Tungate around NSS is a different rider to the one that goes awol on his travels. Against this very good Poole team who knows what they would have scored? They were not there. Hell its like saying next Monday night, if Kildemand scores two points, that Holder would have scored at least 13. If they are not there they can’t score! Let’s see what happens in the B fixture. I have a feeling if Cook and Worrall rides, Poole will still win comfortably.

Usual anti Poole brigade out in force. Hilarious stuff this morning. Gavans rantings and getting it all wrong as usual, Sidney saying the same crap in virtually every post on a Poole thread and even one of tv’s failed commentators sticking his usual boot into Poole and Matt Ford. Looking forward to Swindon’s visit next week. Let’s see if the champions are good enough to defend the title.

Neither were ever going to do anything at Hoddesdon last night. Different tonight though. Should be a very good meeting. -
And if my grandmother had balls, she'd be my granddad. Foreverblue is on the money. Poole would have won regardless. It would have been closer but Poole just got better and better as the meeting went along. Who is to say that Cook and Worrall would have liked the conditions? All if, buts and maybe’s. OK Steve Worrall, top GP star and world number one, having knocked Doyle off his mantle, was sorely missed. He would have beat Brady no problem and lapped a couple of the other Poole lads. Cook, would have just taken the P. Would have gone through the tapes in all his heats just so he could go off 15 metres to make the challenge more exciting. Then would have passed a rider a lap to win by a straight. Belle Vue would then have won by 20 points. In truth Poole were in a vunerable position last night due to virtually no home advantage. But got dialled in to win at a canter in the end. Steve Worrall is being bigged up by some on here as some superstar. People need to get real.
