Belle Vue vs Wolves - Ko Cup - 7th May 18 12pm
Steve Shovlar replied to Aces High's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Perhaps if Belle Vue’s crowds are down on last year they might need some cash. Matt needs to get on the phone and make a decent offer on the youngster. Would come on leaps and bounds riding at Wimborne Road.- 143 replies

Swindon vs Poole BH Mon 7th May

Absolutely. Riders need time to adjust. Woryna has already said he is disappointed in his early form but feels inches away from knocking in some big scores. -

With the very warm day we have had, it was actually lucky that this meeting wasn’t planned for the afternoon. Would have been almost impossible to keep any moisture in the track and we would have had a dust bowl. With over 100,000 visitors in Bournemouth and Poole today, Pirate fans may have to travel a little early to beat the mountrous traffic jam expected on the A31 later. -

Woryna 3? Think he will do better than that! You are too generous on Kildemand though. Be suprised if he gets double figures. -
I hope Brady leaves his Puch Maxi bike in Poland tonight. So slow 2points outgated out ridden by away reserve!
-
Lol! More chance of Gavan being Middlos love child than that happening.
-
Who?

Watching the Polish meetings doesn’t bode well for most of the Poole riders. Kildemand happy for third places and lousy gating. Spanner riding cautiously. Woryna battling but off his best. We need Noddy in the team though it’s starting to look increasingly unlikely.

That doesn’t make the bookies wrong. They will only be wrong if at the end of the season Poole are not champs. Nothing has changed. Poole still favourites. If our odds stretch out I will get a couple of hundred on them.

Starman, really? It was obvious he was talking about Dorset Knobs. -

Weakens Belle Vue considerably. Bewley could have had 7 rides now a likely 4. Drodz at reserve will do OK but not the fire power of Bewley. -
How have the bookies got it wrong?

Will be coming up for this one. Weather looks set fair so hopefuly a big crowd and lots of Poole fans making the trip up to support the team. I don’t expect us to get anything as the team have started woefully with over half the team off form, not only here but abroad as well. No one could have predicted such a poor start. We need to see Kildemand scoring double figures to back up Brady. But his form in Poland has been abysmal, so a poor score wouldn’t suprise me. Swindon by 8. If we get a point that’s an improvement. -
Kildemand scoring 4 at Somerset? Josh not doing his job. Spanner off form. Only Kurtz and Woryna doing their job. Every meeting we lose it in the first few heats. Changes are needed and will happen. Riders know if they don’t perform they won’t be in the team for long.
-
Very sad to be losing smiler, but the changes are inevitable. More to come once 4h4a. Do fans of other clubs expect Matt Ford to do nothing about our poor start? Poole are the only club in the UK that treat the sport as the Poles do. In it to win it. If a rider is not performing his place in the team is under threat. James is an unfortunate victim of circumstance. Hope he is back at the end of the month.

Mike, you have gone through a very difficult time in the last 6 months. I am sure the doctors do not want you at all stressed. Stress is very bad for anyone, especially so with someone recuperating from a serious head operation. This forum is full of banter and bullies and is perhaps not the best place to spend time if you get at all stressed. Time out away from here might make you feel better and your health will improve because of it. Absolutely no point in getting wound up on posts by people you don’t know. You don’t have to react to every post. It will do you more harm than good.

Only fan boy mff fan, running around like corporal Jones shouting Don’t panic! Don’t panic! Is acting in such a manner.

Somerset v Poole KO Cup Weds 2nd May 2018.

Good god talk about a few headless chicken Poole fans running around thinking the end of the world is nigh. Matt Ford Fan is not a Poole fan. Probably never been to Poole Stadium in his life. So we have started the season on the wrong foot with a few in the team off form. Not the end of the world. Trophies are won at the end of the season. If you think that Matt Ford isn’t going to deal with our poor start, then you don’t know Matt. Everything will be just fine. I am 100% sure we will be in the playoffs with a very good chance of silverware come the end of the season. -

Guess Gavan thinks he knows better than the bookies and will be chucking a ton on Poole. Wish I was there, but just spent the day in Venice. What a beautiful place. Makes up for missing out on the speedway tonight. -

Why on earth would Poole fans have lost faith in our team? It’s the start of the season and the team needs a little time to bed in. No worries from me and I would have been there tonight but for the fact I am currently out of the UK until tomorrow. Fans from other clubs better take the P now, because they won’t have that opportunity later in the season.
