Poole Pirates Vs Wolverhampton Wolves 7/6/17

Bridger? Lol! He can't even get decent scores for Berwick. His career is now over. Leicester in two weeks time are no threat to us at home. -

You are running around like a headless chicken. The league is not won in June. We won tonight. Savour the moment. We could and should have lost but we didn't and by the time Leicester come in two weeks Klindt might be OK. Even if he isn't we will still get the three points there. No panic required or rash decisions. After that we can see if KK has recovered and is ready to go, or whether Zengota is doing a good enough job. We only have to make 4th to be in with a shout. Just relax and don't get so stressed. -

It's the truth. Wolves failed to take advantage even when it was on a plate for them tonight. -

How about you pointing out in inadequacies of Thorsell? A world beater at home and hides under a stone away from Monmore? A far lesser rider than KK. -

Lindgren has been on great form before when he has arrived at Poole and gone missing. Impossible to say he will suddenly ride the track well when he never has before. Wolves will never have a better chance to win than tonight but choked good and proper when it really mattered. -

As well as much better scores. But I guess this somehow gives you a chance to get back onto your favourite topic of slagging off KK. -

Wolves got lucky tonight. With Klindt and Lindgren both riding Wolves would probably not have got a point. -

Lindgrens recent scores at Poole. 2017. 9+1 from 5 Shield. 2016. 7+1 from 5 playoff 11 from 5 elb 8+1 from 5 ela 2015 6+1 from 5 elb 5 from 4 ela Lindgren is not good at Poole as I have just shown. -

Agree Kyle trying to battle tonight but clearly not match fit. Bates woeful which nearly led to defeat. How we won that is anyones guess. Wolves should have come away with three points. Don't think it was Lindgren/Klindt missing which equalled it out. Both teams had number ones missing and the replacements scoring far less than hoped. Pooles problem on top of that was a free scoring reserve not being available. We could have covered for Zengota's score with Klindt riding but the team was extremely weak with his absence. -

You could turn that around and say how lucky were Wolves tonight getting a point. Klindt would easily have scored double figures to see Poole reach 52-53 points. Works both ways. -

About 8 is roughly Lindgrens average around Poole, so you are saying a couple more which I agree with. In fact About 9-10 for Lindgren on a good night. Or are you saying 8 on top of the paid 6? Don't think Lindgren has ever scored that at Poole! -

Well that was an eventful nights entertainment. Started with absolute nonsense on the gate. Making people put their walkets, cards, keys in a bowl then inspecting everything, followed by making old ladies stand with their arms outstreched as some guy runs a buzz stick over her. Edna has been going to Poole since 1948 and I don't think has been radicalized. Made to stand there with arms outstretched was disgraceful. In fact there are probably only a handful of muslims in Dorset, so it was nonsense. Better and bigger targets for terrorists than a sport they have never heard of. Now onto the meeting. How the hell did we win tonight with that weak lineup? Amazing. Step forward Brady Kurtz who has come of age. Rides like a number one. Is a number one. Head and shoulders above every rider tonight. Poole hugely missed Klindt. He would have had 7 rides and no doubt a double fingure score. Add to that Zengota who, with no disrespect, is not a number one, and also Newman who had about his worst every meeting and the writing was on the wall. Yet Poole have a fighting spirit and showed that at the death to an unexpected and unlikely victory from the jaws of defeat. For Poole. Zengota found the going tough. Never led a race. Only his first outing so gets some benefit but KK was better. Holder continues to impress, getting better all the time. Newman had a mare until his last race. Mixed it but didn't have speed as a heat went on. Bike packing up on the start in a race he would have scored in didn't help. Kurtz was simply brilliant. Untouchable. Andersen was very good and in heat 15 showed experience to beat Schlein, when many were calling for Holder to be in the heat. Bates was no replacement for Klindt but did manage an important point in heat 14. Shanes had two very poor rides before managing to pass The Wolves number 7 in his last. Wolves. Josh G did as expected. A few less than Lindgren would have scored. Howarth was very good. Best he has ridden Poole recently. Deserved heat 15. Thorsell was on his usual Poole form. Looks a world beater at Monmore and a poor second string at Poole. Masters did his usual Poole performance. Schlein was excellent tonight. Fast and agressive. Best he has been at Poole for a while. Riss did an ok job as did Greaves. Poole struggle to compete without Klindt and need to sort out the issue at the top. Zengota should improve but I am currently not convinced he is going to be a big enough scorer. Time will tell but tonight I am just going to savour this unlikely victory. -

Wolves should win this easily. Zengota terrible. Certainly not a number one. Newman completely out of sorts. No Klindt to cover either as Bates pretty useless. It would be a rout had Lindgren been riding. -

Never seen such nonsense getting into Poole. Heathrow customs would be proud. Utter guff. -

Rain not far off and heading in for start time. Hopefully it will blow through and we will see some racing. Heading off to the stadium shortly. Going to miss Klindt but hope Bates can step up and score some points. We are certainly weak at reserve tonight. -

And with such a patched up team I am, like Andersen, not bothering to go. A shame as I enjoy my trips to the NSS but that Poole team is lousy and not worth a ten hour round trip. -

Bates is not a good replacement for Klindt who has been doing very well. Ignoring the trolling from the usual source its pretty clear we are weakened by not having him in the team this Friday. As for Zengota, we will never know but its the only place in the Uk which is similar to a Polish track so he might have done OK. We need a good guest and some luck to get a point out of this. -

Using the Gavan and Stevebrum logic, Josh has scored double figures on numerous occasions at Poole where Lindgren has always struggled. So therefore Wolves are no doubt stronger with Josh replacing a rider who always flatters to deceive at Poole. Right? -

I would want Klindt over Bates everytime at bv. He is the better rider and just because in the couple oftimes he has ridden it he hasn't scored massively doesn't mean he wouldn't have this time.
