Magic up, Zmarzik up, Zagar up. Miracle.

Bad bad crash. Hope they are ok.

Agree the camerawork is diabolical it seems the guy above the tapes has never covered the sport before and doesn't know where to aim the camera at the end of a heat and is missing the action off the last bend for minor places. Poor crowd and after Warsaw not great so far.

Great to see that he has put a bad 2016 behind him. One Pole that has support from many fans outside of Poland. Looks fast and back to his best. Would love for him to return to Poole but very unlikely anytime soon.

Are we suprised? Lol! Hopefully he will be OK for Monday. His form has improved immensely as the season has gone on and he is now living up to expectation. We don't need to go to Wolves weakened in any way.

Peterborough Panthers 2017
Steve Shovlar replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If the club can't afford to run top flight speedway, why are they attempting to run with a team which looks now like it would cost top flight wages? With Kings Lynn, Leicester and Wolverhampton close by and Rye House not far away, it would make sense for them to move back up. But Saturdays and Sundays would be off the menu. Can they make it pay on a Friday night? Pleased to read this. -
Peterborough Panthers 2017
Steve Shovlar replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Rarely venture in these parts but it makes interesting reading. So if Peterborough can afford this team why are they not in the top flight? -
Of course its completely different. No one has slated Woffindens ability. Just his patriotic duty. Stevebrum is just snatching at straws simply because he has been called out, quite rightly, of going on and on and on about KK. Lets face it, only his lapdog Gavan is following him around agreeing with his master. The rest of us see Brum as obsessed with KK.

Wolves V Poole 29/5/17 6 Pm
Steve Shovlar replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yes. Not a part timer like Stevebrum. Me and Rob will be there cheering on the pirates whether we get thumped or nick something. Think we could hold Wolves to less than 50 if the team all ride to their ability. Going to be hard on that diddly little track with its monstrous home advantage though. Forecast is for showers in the afternoon. Might mess up the track a bit if one hits. -
Difference is I am not obsessed and slagging him off in every post. He goes on and and on and on and on about KK. A top class rider who had a poor stat to a season and in Stevebrums head he is the worst rider in the whole league, the way he goes on, and on, and on......

And Stevebrum posts yet another post about KK.

Wolves V Poole 29/5/17 6 Pm

Its got nothing to do with whether KK is bit on form or off form. Its that you have to mention how rubbish he is in virtually every post. Seriously. We know his form hasn't been great this season. We don't have to have you telling us every single post what a rubbish rider KK is, when thats far from the truth. -

Lapdog Gavan following KK infatuated Stevebrum around to please his master. -

Whose slagging of KK? You are in virtually every post! Considering he doesn't ride for your club you are transfixed on him. Very strange to be honest. As for Zengota, why would I look up a meaningless fixture in my eyes of Wolves V Swindon from years ago? Most Poles struggle around Monmore. Its a fact. Ocassionally one or two manage to get around it. Lets see how he does on Monday. Baz, yes me and Rob are going up. Hope the Wolverhampton management don't try and charge more than the usual entry as I have no interest in a nl meeting afterwards. -

And two more posts this morning from Stevebrum slagging off KK. He really just can't help himself. Mention KK and on go the bovver boots. Mention Woffinden and he is blowing kisses. Edit. Make that three times as he has just slagged KK off again on the Poole thread. Dear oh dear talk about infatuation with KK. As bad as Gavan and anything Poole. -

Doubt Zengota will do anything at Monmore. So will Stevebrum be on his case like his continuous anti KK posts? Don't think we will get a spanking. We have riders good enough to keep it reasonable, though will be vunerable in 13 and 15. Might be close to a point. -
Would think Shanes would be the rider at risk which would be a real shame. He has done himself proud. Guess if it was him he would be instantly picked up by Kings Lynn or another vlub with a weak reserve. Which would mean Newman and Klindt at reserve. Or Newman and Holder when Klibdt moves up.
-
i mentioned him a couple of weeks ago as a potential target. He hasnt been able to get into his Polish team and will be eager to do well to impress. A good solid rider. And we will have more points available for a second change. But. All other riders have done their job so it will be harsh on someone who doesn't deserve the boot.

Wolves V Poole 29/5/17 6 Pm
Steve Shovlar replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Dont mind being classed as underdogs with no chance. Because KK has started poorly people are not rating us and expecting us to be also rans this season. But we are a far better team than these people think. We will be challenging at the playoff end of the season. -
Next Monday sees Pooles first meeting in nearly a month as Pirates head to Monmore for what could be a very entertaining fixture. Start time of 6 pm so guessing the Wolves management are hoping for a lot of kids to attend before school next day. Andersen, Kurtz, Klindt and Newman all go OK around here and the guest at number one could also help keep it reasonable close. Someone like Harris perhaps? Poole rarely come away with anything at Monmore so if we can keep it to within 8 it will show promise. Wolves are certainly the team to beat and title favourites this year so a close score will show Poole are not out of the running just yet. Should be a cracker. Thoughts?

Swedish Elitserien 2017 Round 3

Porky is on the mic. Thought my ears were deceiving me! -
He is utterly useless at Monmore. But he is a proper top speedway rider no matter how many dozens of posts you go on and on and on about him. Most speedway riders don't have to suffer piddly little Monmore more than twice a season. For Polish riders its a serious challenge and one many feel not worth worrying about as they only go there very occassionally. KK was second in the world quite recently and an acheivement most riders could only dream about. Sure his form is down currently but that doesn't mean he is a bad rider. His career proves how good he can be, regardless of your continuous insults at him.
