  1. No coming out now. five mins after gates opened. You expect a big crowd instantly?
  2. Track is currently being relaid. Very bad with the rain earlier. https://www.pscp.tv/w/bEeB5jFtTUVQZVdxTm1RR2J8MU1ZeE5YYXprWHdHd5sK3MeHXLaAoqbX5dzkN6oxsfkzGOztugwDN_NoFMB6
  3. Posts like this could cost clubs lots of money if people believe what you have written.
  4. Will be coming up for this but on this occassion I don't fancy our chances. We might have got something out of our away meetings this year but no Brady to back up hans leaves us very short of top end strength and hard to get heat winners. The failure of KK and Matt Ford finding it impossible to bring in a number one has left us wanting this season. 53-37 ish.
  5. Matt Ford told the Daily Echo: "The track is now so smooth that riders are finding it far too easy and there is no home track advantage. "Blades have been used to cut the top edge off the track, so now it is the easiest thing in the world to ride. You can just go flat out. "People had asked for us to do it and we did it and we have just taken our biggest home defeat in eight years. "We have our work cut out to beat anybody at home now."
  6. All drying up now. Forecast looks promising. A few showers might clip us but the track has had a good even watering and being overcast it should lead to a good track this evening. Interesting comments from Matt in todays echo about the tracking being smoothed out to take away the home advantage.
  7. Many Polish promoters would have watched him last night. They would be asking who is this "Booley". If he continues to improve contracts will start to be waived.
  8. Thought the interview on bt with Adams about him going on holiday was amateur hour. Why discuss a holiday? A manager having two weeks off in the season is not really something to broadcast. A better question would gave been to ask him why he thought the bv track was inconsistent. Looked ok to me.
  9. he throttled off the second he crossed the line. Clasic mis counting. Bet he was cursing after making all that effort to pass Barker.
  10. Pretty entertaining meeting in the end. Lindgren quite poor tonight and only Masters did the biz. Perks unfortunate with his bike hope Wolves fans have a collection on Monday for him. Good to see a big crowd. The 9.99 entrance is a very good idea for tv meetings. Keep that up. So what are the scb going to do about Thorsell? Guess we will know tomorrow.
  11. Why on earth has Lemon given Jack Smith 4 rides when Bewley is going so well. Madness. Could bite them on the jacksy.
  12. Have to wait and see but doubt the bspa would allow this to happen. Nothing to gain for it. This is not a re-arranged fixture.
  13. No. He wouldn't. He is on record as saying he told the Poles to go do one. R/r means Thorsell ban coming up. Remember, this Wolves deal with Poland is at club level. The rules are not set by the club.
  14. Thorsell has to be banned for 28 days. Simple as that. If the Polish fixture is re-arranged Thorsell hasn't got a leg to stand on and neither have Wolves if they use a facility. Eith nl 6 pointer or a 28 day ban. Not Wolves decision if they use a facility. The scb will issue the ban. Makes no odds whether Wolves rolled over and signed the Polish blackmail or not . Its above Wolves.
  15. Because the roof was closed. Much clearer with the roof open and not echoing around the stadium.
  16. Define working class? I work everyday and Cardiff is chump change out the sides off the sofa. Only people who can't afford to go are spending their dole money on diamond white or the slots. If you can't afford a oner for a good day out you are doing something seriously wrong with your life. Labour spongers and scroungers. Labour are spongers party. Parked on the main road into cardiff in the carparks on the right. Always get in there before 11.30 am. Parking is £5.20 a day and there are two of us. Cheaps as chips.
  17. Forecast currently not great for Wednesday. A rain band pushing through during the day to clear by approx 5 to give a dry evening. Just depends how much rain we will get. Hopefully not enough to cause the meeting to be postponed.
  18. Happy to post the pics of the crowd from last year and this for people who wish to compare. As for the cost of the day. Fuel to Cardiff. £20 Parking £2.60 for the day. Lunch. £10 Costa 2.50 Ticket £25 Total cost inc lunch which I would have had no matter where I was, is just £60.10 Everyone can afford to go. Cut out the costa and buy a sandwich and bottle of water from Asda and even Jeremy Corbyns dole scroungers and spongers could afford to go. There's no excuse not to be there. Cheap as chips day out.
  19. Back in 2004, the crowd was significantly smaller than yesterday. The upper tiers has only the first 6 rows filled on the third and fourth bends. In comparison yesterday had people all the way around to the top. Yes there were plent of empty seats, there always are. But to compare 2004 to 2017, there is quite a difference upwards. And comparing from last year, and I am using photographic evidence, shows a small improvement.
  20. Tickets were cheaper than last year. Paid £25 on the day. What other big sporting event can you get in as cheaply? Fantastic value for money.
  21. I think Pirates will bounce back and win this one quite comfortably. Just want Brady back to fitness so we can confirm our place in the playoffs.
