  1. I truly believe you can't resist having a dig at KK at every opportinity. You have been picked up on it by numerous different forum members yet still you persist. Every single member of this forum knows that you dislike KK. You don't have to repeat it 573 times. I said I was disappointed Lisa. Which Poole fan isn't? Starke for Newman doesn't seem to make any sense. So there has to be more than meets the eye which got me thinking there's more to this. What is the difference in averages between the two? If Starkes average is lower than Newmans, the reason for the change would be to free up more fractions of a point for other areas of the team to be strengthened. If Starkes average is higher than Newmans, forget all of the above and just remain disappointed in the change.
  2. Have a feeling more changes are on the way. If Starke comes in on a lower average than Kyle, there is a master plan here, with another rider or two for the chop who has been scoring well.
  3. Disappointed in this move to be honest. Watched Kyle at Belle Vue on Friday have a brilliant 5-1 ride to beat Fricke. He is not race fit but has been on the pace since his return. Often the difference between winning a heat and ending up last is no more than being in the wrong place coming off the second bend. Kyles on the pace and putting it about. Harsh by Matt here. Could perhaps understand it more is Kyle was being replaced by a rider guarenteed to bang in more points but....Starke? With all due respect I don't think swapping out Kyle for Starke is going to improve the teams scoring. And having watched Gomolski every Sunday in Poland he is now riding lower league and not exactly setting it on fire. Artur Mrozcka a far better scorer and on form. But who would he replace anyway?
  4. Watching on polsat sports extra through wizja tv. Coming up shortly is two extraleague meetings on Nsport. For those that don't subscribe, the 10 quid for three months is absolutely worth it. Messing about for decent steeams is a waste of time when you can watch a good picture on a big tv.
  5. That was an horrendous crash with all three eventually walking away. Kenneth Bjerre very lucky.
  6. Whats all this nonsense about Poole fans not teavelling in numbers? Last night was unusual in that only a couple of us were there but when we ride Swindon theres a couple of hundred at Blunsdon, at Leicester theres normally around 25-30, at Rye we took over the stand in front if the tapes. When we went to Coventry we had the first bend. Theres just as many travelling Poole fans as any other club and often more.
  7. Fair comments. You turned into a Poole fan? Were you at Poole on Wednesday?
  8. Absolutely. And once we finally get to full strength the rest better look out! As for Klindt, Matt should ask him to ride against Leicester to attain an average. Then we could use decent guests until he is fit. Three starts and pull overs would do it and against Leicestr we could get away with it.
  9. Thanks we all missed that then and neither me nor Rob caught or noticd that. Sorry for typis in car bouncing along.
  10. Well done Batchelor made me eat my words. Best I have seen him ride in years. Doesn't ride like that at Poole. Cracking meeting full of hold onto your seats action. Belle Vue stormed away and we thought it was allover after thefailed tr but Poole came back strong to silence the crowd. Some stunning hold your breath team riding from Batch, Brady, Holder and Newman. Not sure Bates in 14 was legal but he didnt score. Draw a fair result and two big points. Me and Rob the only two Pirates fans there I believe. We are driving home happier than the rest of the crowd. Well done lads. For bv Fricke was good but not at his best. Worral wsnt great only wone one heat. Berre was so fast out of the gate. Had one duff ride butis almost untouchable. Sedgeman was mediocre. One decent ride. Cook started well but faded badly. Bewley rode well Smith had one good ride. Poole Batchelor was excellent Holder rode very well Newman always in the mix one great ride Brady started and ended poor but great in the middle. Andersen was OK Bates 7 from 6 rides didn't cover for Klindt at all but Batchelor probably scored more than Zengota to even it out Shanes tried very hard. Fair result 4 hours 30 to home. Happy days!
  11. No doubt. At Macds in Hyde Road. Took over 6 hours to get here.
  12. No he doesnt unless he scores big! You cannot have accurate assumptions from only three visits. To believe Bates would score more is frankly naive.
  13. Its a troll comment. There is exactly the same to do here as every other town plus the beaches and Jurassic coast. Why do people come here on holiday?
  14. You cant compare over just three meetings and who the riders were up against? My Newman/Holder analogy is spot on. Give me Klindt over Bates at any track with the exception of Sheffield.
  15. Again how any numpty can say Bates is a better option than Klindt knows little about the sport. Like saying Holder has had three meeting at Monmore and scored badly, and Newman three good ones so Newman guesting for Kings Lynn makes Lynn stronger. Bates isnt in the same class as Klindt. Period. Regardless of what has been scored there recently.
  16. Me and Rob now coming up. Without Andersen it was pointless in making the 10 hour round trip. Have to say Batchelor is not a good choice. Feel his best is long gone. Don't expect to get a point out of this but enjoy the racing here so as long as the track produces some exciting stuff we can't complain.
  17. It is a complete nonsense. If a muslim wanted to blow up the fans why bother going into the stadium? They would just blow everyone up in the queue instead! Utter ridiculous guff and it will affect crowds. Easier to go to the beach or Dolphin centre to kill people. Oh dear. Troll Gavan comes on the Poole thread to slag off Newman tonight at Ipswich, who then ends up One of the highest scorers with paid nine. The guy just doesn't have a clue.
  18. Crowds at Poole have been poor this year no doubt about it. The Darcy meeting fiasco, huge gaps in the fixture list, poor weather and now horrendous and unnecassary anti terrorist searches when entering the stadium all add to people not bothering. Oh, and the weakening of the product.
  19. Having watched a next to useless Thorsell last night at Poole, the club are making an error dropping Karpov.
  20. Not sure but really do you think his Polish club will allow one of their prize assets to sign over here? Even if he wanted to come I am sure he would be blocked. More chance Predzpelski.
  21. Well he hasn't managed it before at Poole so probably unlikely. Andersen and Kurtz would have probably seen him off. Lindgren is a good rider. Just not normally at Poole. Same as Chris Holder at Monmore.
  22. But there was no one else with as low an average. If we wanted Klindt at reserve Shanes was the best choice, and he hasn't let the club or himself down.
  23. Thorsell probably 11 at home but was beaten by Shanes from the back in the ES meeting. Poor tonight as well.
