  1. Bummer for Lambert and TeamGB right before the SWC. Hope he gets fit soon.
  2. Yes of couse. Happens all the time. Cut off is the end of July.
  3. I have already said the track was bumpy. Teams never have to rebuild to the team average. They can replace an individual rider with another with an average that must be lower than the rider they are replacing. A team cannot replace two riders at the same time by combining averages. If two riders are to be replaced and one is 7 and the other 4, the new riders, a team cannot bring in riders on 8 and 3. Always been the rules.
  4. See Chris is still showing his Monmore form. Decent performance by Kings Lynn.
  5. Just anti Poole claptrap I think. The rule has ALWAYS been there.
  6. Of course I was. Why would anybody think differently? No thank you. Don't think Sedgmen is who we need at all.
  7. Love and kisses. So what is the difference between Tungate and Sedgmen and Klindt and whoever? Of course its right and fair. Why wouldn't it be fair? You can't have one team making a change and stopping Poole from doing the same!
  8. Zengota is an injury replacement for KK. Once KK is fit (next meeting in two weeks) he will be back in place of Zengota. Klindt is injured. Clear for everyone to see. A shame as he has been superb this season. But we can't carry an injured rider. So out he goes to get well for next season and in comes whoever. Gomolski? Sundstrom, Prezpelski? It will happen, guarenteed.
  9. I think Hans mechanic is to blame here. With the clock counting down the mechanic was woking frantically to adjust the chain but ran out of time. This was played out on track by the pits. With 20 seconds to go Hans decided he had to go to tapes and made it as the clock ran out. The chain then came off causing the spill with Cook. As for the track yes its bumpy. Has been for a while. Its called home advantage and one of the reasons I believe Its not removed. Jack Holder said recently you have to attack the track. Not defending it but no falls caused by the track. Andersens chain coming off and Fricke knocking off Kurtz were the only falls. Funnily enough last week we raced against Leicester, and the racing was far better than tonight. Perhaps the Belle Vue riders should have slowed down a little so we could catch them!
  10. Of course he can be replaced, just like Sedgmen was with Tungate. Or are other teams allowed to make changes but not Poole?
  11. Perhaps Klindt was just there to get an official average. No way he will be back he needs an operation. Didn't think he would actually get around the track walk. We were beaten by a full strength Belle Vue team on a roll. We had no number one and were carrying a badly injured rider who wanted to ride but is far from fit. 6 measly points from the number one berth. No suprise at all we lost to be honest. But lets be sensible here. If Poole had been turned over by Belle Vue and had a fully fit KK and Klindt riding, there would be cause for concern. Remember, we got a draw just a couple of weeks ago at Belle Vue. Will we make the playoffs? Of course we will. Will we be stronger when the playoffs start? More than likely, unless we are injury plagued like last season. Belle Vue were the better team tonight, for sure. I think they are a better team than Wolves with their massive home advantage. But we are not out of it just yet. It will be interesting to see how the B fixtures pan out should we be at full strength.
  12. First of all well done to Belle Vue on their win. Was really never in doubt with Pirates riding without a number one and Klindt who declared himself fit but tonight was fit for f all. 6 points picked up from the number one position shows why Poole lost, without Klindt, who is normally good for double figures scoring a point at the death. Belle Vue were far quicker out of the gate and the Poole guys just had no response until half way through the meeting. But you can't win against the strongest team in the league with no number one and a non firing rider who should not have been there. Unless he was there to get his official average. For Poole. Kurtz is not a number one yet and it showed, but he did come good. Holder was solid all night. R/r produced just 6 points. Klindt limped around on the track walk. Far from fit. Enough said. Andersen was pretty average tonight. Starke did well in one heat but found it tough. Shanes did his job and then some. For Belle Vue. Bjerre was very good. Worrall solid Cook excellent. Tungate did well Fricke meh. Bewley very good Smith found it tough. Belle Vue clearly the team to beat this year and clear favourites this season now they have strengthened up even further. Tonight it showed. Would the result have been different had Poole been full strength? Quite possibly but Belle Vue can only beat the team put in front of them and tonight we were not strong enough.
  13. White flags out now I am afraid. Klindt clearlyhere to get an average. Cant compete with bv with litterally half a team. Expect to get half the points. Bv riders far too quick for our riders meaning poor racing as well.
  14. Klindt walking track no way is he race fit. One ride then pull out? Double r/r? Hope he can get around.
  15. Opening early because of the bottleneck caused by stewards who don't have a clue going through old grannies bags looking for bombs. The fact that Ethel and Flo have been going to Poole since 1948 has no bearing as they pat the old girl down. You could be right on the scoreline Skidder. Bjerre is gone if he gates. Cook is on fire and Fricke is due a big score. Worrall normally wins heat one. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge will also know Bewley will be in heat 14 unless Smith is having a blinder. Would have had Holder at 4 and Klindt at 2.
  16. If Klindt struggles we will be in trouble. At least if Starke continues on from last week he can have one of Klindts rides. Expecting Starke to have 7 rides tonight. Good weather, the two most exciting teams in the league clashing, only a tenner to get in. What's not to like? Hopefully a decent crowd at the stadium and watching on BT Sports. Looking forward to this.
  17. Because Zengota is a 28 day injury replacement. Always was so completely legal. KK back for the Kings Lynn meeting.
  18. Looks like we have two Cooks from Ipswich trolling the Poole threads.
  19. He did have quite a nasty spill in heat 14. Pepe rode into him and they came off with Zengotas hand going into Pepes back wheel. He rode in the rerun but was well tailed off for the point. Hopefully KK is back for our next meeting.
  20. Came out for the rerun but tailed off. Caught his hand in Pepes back wheel in heat 14.
  21. Both Bjerre and Fricke on fire this afternoon in Poland. Brilliant ride by Fricke to catch and pass Zmarzlik on the line. If he brings that tomorrow we could be in serious trouble. Bjerre no doubt will be gate and gone.
  22. Paid 12 for KK this afternoon. Would have been paid 14. He was winning one heat by a mile when Iversen fell. Got 5-1'd after making a howler of a gate in the rerun. Oh, and he had Lindgren from the back as well, on Lindgrens home track. So Brum can stick that in his pipe!
  23. Definately lost his edge. Looks almost uninterested and is just making up the numbers. His riding is predictable. You know he is just going to go his trademark cutback when on the outside gates. You know he is going to be passed by riders with far more energy. Looks to me Woffindens star has dimmed considerably on the world stage and he doesn't know how to get it back. He has won it twice and the way it's looking that's your lot.
  24. Then the criteria needs to be changed. Can't have an Aussie, (and thats what he is regardless of acu lisence or passport) taking a British riders spot or god forbid the British wildcard. Make sure rules are changed for 2018 please bspa.
  25. Well done Magic! After a terrible last year he has bounced back brilliantly. Great gp.
