R/r can be used as Newman rode for us last season and is part of the team. Hiwever a change is happening because we can't go with r/r and expect to cover like last night at other tracks. Whoever it is coming in they wont have the scoring potential of Kyle. Let's hope he can get mended before the end of the season.

Sportsmania working very well.
-
One thing this injury has done is taken us from favourites to strugling to make the playoffs. All before a league meeting has taken place. What about Stefan Nielsen? Think he would fit but clearly not the scoring ability of Kyle.
-
why would we replace Shanes? Did a great job tonight on a tricky little track, beating both Wolves reserves. KK has Poish Golden Helmet on Good Friday so we are stuffed with every team riding bar Swindon. Rumour is Nick Morris replacing KK.
-
Just got back and pretty well pleased with the result. All to play for in the second leg with Poole far far superior at reserve and KK will come to play on a more regular speedway track. Good weather if cold. Meeting dragged out far to long. No need for an interval after all the delays with riders having two or three on the trot. Think Poole are unlucky to be ten down. Holders move under Clegg was fine but Clegg bailed it knowing he had lost the spot and vardy fell for it. The wolves fans all around me were suprised Holder was excluded. Kurtz was leading one heat when Andersen was clipped by Howarth and in the rerun completely missed the start. Also thought Shanes got Clegg on the line by half a wheel but was at 45 degrees to the starting gate. With Poole always having a strong reserve it gives us a decent advantage over team lie Woves who have two sitting ducks. Some decent racing with Thorsell untouchable tonight. May be a different story in 48 hours time. Special mention to Shanes who looked lie he was crapping hiself before the meeting but rode like a little bulldog. Fully desered his points. If the Poole program is already printed it will be in the new format, which will make everything ludicrous. How the hell can Wolves let this happen?

Poole have already signed areplacement I have heard. I don't know who so don't ask!
-
Problem is Rob any of the other riders a replacement would be easier. Kyle is on a low average with potential to improve it greatly. Hear Poole have already made a move for a rider but doubt on the points available he will have the scoring potential of Kyle. Just been at the pits and Shansey looks like he is crapping himself. Just hope he can get round the track tonight! Disappointing. Poole second strings now. Polish practice? Wouldn't suprise me. Or a tactic by Matt as KK is missing for the two meetings on Good Friday and gives these two boys some track time.
-
Losing Kyle has completely stuffed us and he must be gutted. The one rider who is irreplaceable in the team. R/r all the way so Klindt needs to stand up and be counted with 6 rides a meeting. Lets all hope the diagnosis for Kyle isn't as bad as being touted.

The 4 Hours Speedway Meeting....
Steve Shovlar replied to SCB's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Kings Lynn have form for this. Last years U21 went on and on and on..... watching online it was way after 11. Problem is Kings Lynn have no curfew to speed things along. Pity the poor souls that attended the U21. -
Why are fans saying the Poole track is in bad condition? Because it was spongy due to the rain. If they attended every week and it was like this they may have a case. But normally the racing is great. No need for anything to be done to it other than for it to dry out. As for Holders comments, he slated every track in the UK. And he was certainly getting a dig in at Matt Ford. He has to ride in the UK, especially so nowadays with brexit. No UK berth no visa, no Sweden and Poland and no seeing his son, which is clearly his priority in life and rightly so.

I think the worst track was when it was moved out to accomodate the football team who needed a bigger pitch. That track was dire and only Marvyn Cox could just about pass on it.
-
The track was put right last year. Guess we will see if anything needs to be done after Wednesday.
-
Lynn is gate and go for the ladt few years, Monmore is slowway, passing yes when the away rider wobbles around as its so small. Will witness it tomorrow night and probably watch top riders like KK wobble like a novice, not my cup of tea. Peterborough can be great not in the top league though no point comparing. May as well say Polish tracks. We are lucky at Poole to have a good home track, regardless of what others say.
-
Its not "a pile of poo". Its a good racetrack. It was waterlogged on Friday. As long as we get no rain before Wednesday we will likely see good racing against Wolves on Wednesday. The amount of rain we had last Tuesday put the track underwater, stopping practice. Unfortunately it still hadn't dried out enough by Friday night. Whether the promotion knew of the problem or were unaware is a different issue, though the riders were all happy to start the meeting. If you actually think Poole is a bad racetrack, you need to venture to some away meetings where on some tracks you will be lucky to see much passing. We are lucky in that the Poole curcuit produces fast racing and plenty of passing. Only track I would trade Wimborne Road in for is Belle Vues, which is head and shoulders better than every other track, possibly in the world.
-
Last season saw plenty of brilliant racing at Wimborne Road. The track did have an issue over a year ago on the first bend but that was corrected, as was the dip entering the third bend. Wimborne Road has a good shape which allows passing on all four bends. There's always a ton of passing at Poole. Even on Friday every race had passing. Sure it could be smoothed out but would that take away some home advantage? And if it was so bad, why don't the riders get together and refuse to ride until it is sorted? Stadia UK do not own Wimborne Road. But you knew that.Oh hang on you can't read this as you have blocked me.

Great final but mostly pants meeting. A meaningless competition. This competition is completely floored due to being nothing more than a sponsor fest. The fans need more than to just cheer on a couple of riders riding for a company. They need allegence. Either club pairs, or better still, country pairs. A good lineup but half empty stadium backs this up. And where are the Brits? Every other nation more or less represented except us. Again.

King's Lynn Stars 2017
Steve Shovlar replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He's been very fast and impressive so far. -
Disagree. Time for a new broom to sweep away everything that was bad about the old Belle Vue. Whilst I am sure Chris Morton is a very decent man, he was part of the disastrous previous regime which nearly ended in the demise of the club. The new promotion should distance themselves from any attachment to what went before them.
