Poole Sign Lindback
Steve Shovlar replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No one other than Poole could simply because only Poole have an injury replacement to make. The door is shut for other replacements and no other club has injury problems. Also, would Lindback have been enticed over here for the playoffs by any other club? He isca Poole assetband knows the setup and knows Matt. All things in Poole's favour when asking him to come. -

No easy task for Belle Vue if the Lakeside boys have their gating boots on. As Orion says they don't travel well but you just never know. -
So Here we go! All roads lead to Wimborne Road next Wednesday for the first leg of the 2017 EL Playoff semi final. With Wolverhampton unable to run the first leg, Matt Ford has stepped in to help out and allowed Wolves to run the second leg. This meeting is one not to miss and will be an absolute thriller. With 4 of the top 8 GP riders in attendance the place is going to be packed out so get there early. Poole need to have a double figure lead to take to Monmore for the second leg. I have a feeling this is going to go down to the wire and be extremely close. Lets hope the weather stays fair and we are treated to a fantastic meeting. Teams. Poole. Holder Lindback Buckowski Newman Ellis Kurtz Pedersen Wolverhampton. Lindgren Woffinden Karlsson Thorsell Clegg Masters Howarth.

Seemed a real crazy guest to have tbh. Why use a rider getting his setup perfect for next Wednesday when other options would have done a job? -

Here there's a bit of a traffic jam on the A419 near Swindon. ACME Demolition Heavy plant with wrecking ball crawling along at 5 miles an hour heading towards blunsdon. Thing is, when Lakeside areon it, they can really pulverise a team. Belle Vue could find themselves having to find 15 points in the second leg. Its such a tricky track Lakeside boys can miss the gate and be leading down the back straight of lap one. -
Bomber To Leave Coventry
Steve Shovlar replied to Perton Wolf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Harris is not a gater. Surely Leicester would be his last choice. Anyway he must have a team lined up already. You don't leave a job without having another to go to. -

No thanks I wouldn't want Bomber in the Poole team. Somewhere like Wolves would suit him. -

Then you need to re-read your post because as it reads you are blaming Poole for Richard Hall and nit the MC. -

The most important thing for Swindon is the building of the new stadium at this place in time. The playoffs are Bonus if they mke it. Next season starting in a new stadium would be awesome. -

Actually we are off to the West Indies for a couple of weeks at Sandy Lane in November. Lovely. What are you on about now? Weird. I will look out for you next Wednesday on the first/second bend and introduce myself. What's the betting you won't be there? -

Gavan has finally realised he was making a pillock of himself and quit the forum. Seriously the odds are in favour of the Poole knockers starting this thread because for Poole to win the title they have a massive task against Wolves, and if by some luck they get past that, they have Belle Vue who have beaten us three times out of four this season. So odds stacked that we will get that thread. Don't forget Poole fans, Adam Ellis is riding in the World U21 final second leg tonight and its live to watch at 6pm. -

Thing with Woffinden was, he sulked through the 2014 season making no effort whatsoever. It was nothing to do with lack of ability but the fact he didn't want to ride here after signing a contract. It was his way of making a point to the Wolves management. His excuse was that he was tired. -
So he tried a kodi link that he said didn't work, while I and allthegearbutnaeidea enjoyed the 4 semis. How strange. Perhaps he was trying to view the wrong link. Certainly all working for me. Rmc needs to see a professional to sort out his issues. A ridiculous rant. Lol. Judging by the time he made his rant he could well have been on the pop. Trouble is it is completely unfounded and whatever he saw in my posts wasn't there in the real world. I posted links and gave advice on how to watch on Kodi. Nothing more. All strange but I do hope he sticks to his side of the bargain and doesn't post again.

This will go ahead. Theres a band of rain heading east which has cleared Reading and will hit but after that it looks clear unless the rain changes direction. Let the best team win. -

Well Poole had no choice. It is an injury replacement, not a strengthen replacement so can't be classed the same as Wolverhampton. The bad luck fell on Poole so Matt Ford had to do the best he possibly could for his club. By the sound of the moans he did just that. But what was he meant to do? Choose a lesser rider when the possibility was there to bring in a club asset who is extremely popular with the Poole massif? Of course not! The injury to Hans is genuine and there for all to see. Unfortunate but speedway is a dangerous sport and these things happen on a quite regular basis. Would I have liked Lindback to have come in in place of Fricke? No but it if was within the rules I would have to accept it, the same as Woffinden for Kylmo. Remember, none of this would have happened if Hans had not been injured.
