What I posted is fact, not opinion. If you have a gripe get on the blower to bspa towers. -

OK here is the answer to all your questions on Lindbacks average. You can take it from me this is absolutely the truth, kosher, fact. Antonio Lindback has been out of action in the uk since 2007, when he acheived an average of 6.34 from 11 meetings. So the bspa reassess riders who have been out of the uk for an extended period. He has been put on the same average as Zmarzlik, Dudek, Vaculik and Laguta. So his average fits no problem at all. While this may pee off some of you, it means Poole have not cheated and fiddled Antonio Lindbacks average. I thank you. -

Belle Vue v Wolves final. Full house. Belle Vue V Poole final. Not full? Sorry can't believe Wolves would be a bigger pull just because of Woffinden. Its the final. Sold out signs should be up even if it was Lakeside. -

So Poole have helped Wolverhampton out of a problem then. No way would we take the first leg under normal circumstances. -

You should blame Fricke for spearing Hans. Nasty crash left Hans with no chance of avoiding it. If it hadn't happened Poole wouldn't be forced into making changes to patch up their injury ravaged side. -

So clearly the deal was finalised a while back and released after the 14th September. Having not ridden here for a while Toninio got a slight reduction on his average. -

Does he really believe fans would turn out at Belle Vue for Wolverhampton and not for Poole? If Poole make the final and its against Belle Vue, you can be sure there will be a lot of travelling fans heading up from the south coast, regardless of the distance. -

We had kk guesting for us a week or so ago on a plus 8 average. Lindbacks last average was 7.91 if I recall. So he fits easily enough. Remember, this deal could have been in place a week after Hans injury and only announced today. -
Poole don't have an issue with either Monday or Wednesday. Wolverhampton do.

Its not cheating Lisa, do people think Poole just announce any rider on whatever average and its ok? This had to be approved before the MC, who gave it the green light. -

Hello Tony where have you been? Guess another way of looking at it is that he is injured right now, having not ridden since being speared by Fricke at Leicester. So regardless of whether he rides on Saturday, he is injured now so can be replaced. Simple. -
Thing is we can't carry injured riders in the playoffs. If he rides Saturday he could make it worse. Personal glory is one thing. Riding for a team in important meetings another. As for Wolves not being able to ride on a Wednesday, Matt Ford could help them out and give them the second leg. Unfair on Poole of course but Matt always looks out for the greater good of the sport and to help his fellow promoters in their moments of need. I hope Van Straaten remembers what a massive favour Matt is doing here. Very unfair for Poole though. The second leg is more important of course and the home team know what they have to do tactically etc..
-
Big difference. One was a swap to strengthen, this one is an injury replacement for poor Hans. Tough on them then. One leg it is.
-
No. Wolves can't I don't think. So what happens there? They forgo their leg?

More to come.... Poole boss Matt Ford is hoping that he has pulled off a masterstroke by tempting club asset Antonio Lindback back to British racing, some nine seasons after the Brazilian-born Swede last rode in the British leagues. Lindback, currently eighth place in this year's GP standings and winner of this season's British GP, has answered Ford's call as a replacement for start of season skipper Hans Andersen who suffered a hand injury on Bank Holiday Monday when riding for the Pirates at Leicester, and it is a signing, under rule 16.3.41 that provides for a redeclaration for an injured rider, which has excited the experienced club promoter. Ford said "I am very proud when I say that this is dream come true for me to be able to bring Antonio back to British racing. He has been been absent from British Speedway for a significant time and will come in on the same assessed average as other established riders such as Bartosz Zmarzlik, Patrik Dudek, Martin Vaculik the Laguta boys etc. "Hopefully with the play-off matches ahead we can whet Antonio's appetite enough to make him want to become a British league regular again, whether that be with us or another club. "In his time with us between 2003 and 2006 he rode in over 120 matches rode in over 120 matches and amassed more than a thousand points and above all became a firm favourite with the Poole fans . Whilst I am sorry not to have Hans in the team and able to finish the season, as he has delivered so many important scores for us this year, I believe Antonio will make the perfect replacement. I am sure he will give us the boost we need going into the play-offs and hopefully his presence in the Poole team will add even further spice to the semi-finals which are now upon us." Thank god Lindback wasn't riding for Swindon. Strange thing to say and most people today won't even understand its meaning. -

He posted his old place of work on the forum a couple of weeks ago for all to see. He posted it on a public forum so brought the info onto a public domain. Its not as if I would waste a nano second looking for private info but the bloke made it public for all to see. -

It matters not one iota now anyway as the meeting is over and the playoffs beckon. And if we go back there the boys will know the setup that much more and hopefully continue how they left off. Just The slight problem of Wolverhampton to overcome! -
Kings Lynn V Poole Elb 13/09/16
Steve Shovlar replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Would have been a few points closer with Iversen riding, doubt Rose would have made too much of a difference, and Holder would have been out in heat 15 if he had been needed. Kings Lynn need to build a brand new lineup. Only riders worth keeping are Lambert and Porsing. -

It is a fact, whatever way you look at it. Not conjecture, not opinion. The ef cost Poole finishing top of the league. We could have been on the wrong end of a 5-1 when the ef occured, but the ef would still have ended Poole's ability to finish top. The fact that we were on a 5-1 makes it more of a bitter pill. Still, hopefully we will have the opportunity to correct this setback in the playoffs. -
