  1. Bloody hell your keen would have set the recorder, unless there's no way that's possible.
  2. Yes I thought it would be a very small crowd. Perhaps they sat there all night! But compared to Cardiff, Warsaw etc it is a bit of a Mickey Mouse stadium with small crowd in comparison. BT3.
  3. Nothing on my bt app. I am on bt 3 but theres no mention of it. Gillette word sport. Ok the 8.45 information was wrong. Just starting now.
  4. You really should not bother responding to the trolls posts Lisa. Its so nice having him blocked. Makes the place much more fun. No more having to read his inane anti Poole tripe.
  5. Yep. Really professional tootling around at the back to gift Belle Vue a victory.
  6. Not very far to be honest. However there's a sea in the way. Takes 13 hours by road and ferry so the riders gear is a major issue. Guess it would have gone overnight. Riders might be able to get there but no point if bikes are stuck elsewhere. Looks like the Polish riders will be downgrading their field.
  7. So are the riders hoping to run through the gp then get to Poland for the riders championship tomorrow evening?
  8. Bang out of order. I am at car boot at that time. Booooooo!!!!!!!! Be lucky to have sorted the track out by then. Think track staff are not going to see their beds until tomorrow.
  9. Means an even later night with an 8 pm start for Poole fans making the long trip up. Would it be r/r or guest for Starke?
  10. Source? Or have you been on it? He will be neither. Edr averages will be converted to a formula, probably yet to be decided. Just goes to show how well he is doing compared to most edr's.
  11. Next Saturday Poole head off to Leicester in search of four more points to keep the pressure in Belle Vue for battle for top spot. Leicester has never been a good hunting ground for Poole. We drew there last year and drew again in the A fixture. A team of racers is not required around here so the boys better have their gating boots on. In the A fixture Klindt and Wozniak were excellent and Poole managed to salvage a draw with a 5-1 in heat fifteen through Hans and Noddy. We need to do a lot better this time around. Not sure of riding order. Is Bjarne back up in the team? We have to go for all four points and I think we can get them. Thoughts?
  12. You joking, right? He obviously knew and thought stuff Wolves I am not bothering if I am being sacked. He was excellent in the SEC a couple of nights before. Clearly he knew.
  13. At last we are seeing things happening after years of very little. There have been some major flaws with the edr system this year in particular, but it has now proved to have worked with British riders benefitting from the experience. Of course this year there has been flaws but the riders have had the opportunity to race against more experienced riders and some have really blossomed, none more so than Adam. He is beating top riders on a regular basis, not just fluke one offs. Andreas on his home track, Harris on Wednesday, King, and young starlet Lambert on his own patch in a great race on Thursday. This has been a fantastic break through year and I feel sure he will go on to represent his country in the swc next season. Neil Vatcher has worked tirelessly behind the scenes with virtually no money to nurture other youngsters and this is the first time in years where we can say things are starting to happen. Always hard for the youngsters to get sponsorship and for some unfathomable reason a lot goes to the foriegn lads. Perhaps sponsors find it more "cool". Perhaps now is the time for Adam to tout himself around the Polish second league to see if he can land himself some practice sessions and potential team berth for 2017. Being proactive rather than waiting in the hope of a phone call from a prospective promoter can't be wrong.
  14. How can you tell how many seats have sold on the booking system? As for flying up, the numbers just don't add up. So we are driving up, then calling in at Monmore on the way back for the double header.
  15. On the 29th August, at an unfair time of noon, Belle Vue take on Poole. You can be sure there will be a decent amount of Poole fans coming up for this. We have to leave ar around a ludicrous 6 am to get there on time, but I know of at least 20 making the trip up north. This meeting might not be anything more than a "cup qualifier", but it will probably have enormous importance on this years title. I would not be suprised to see a delayed start, full grandstand and three quarters full stadium. Glad I have my ticket already, so no queues other than entry to the stadium.
  16. Its called supporting my club. Supporting them home and away. Not whining on here about not turning up because we are (Lynn) going to get beat at home to Poole. Belle Vue are still favourites to finish top. But we can get something out of our next two away meetings to bring it all down to the 29th August. Perhaps Belle Vue can use a bit of promotional savvy to pack the place out.
  17. Could be Lakeside but doubt he will go back there. Matt needs to cough up the dosh if this is the case.
  18. Holder is certainly more reliable. Not a better rider nowdays after what has happened to him but I doubt you would find many Poole fans who would swap the two. I have sai all along its just my opinion. No one has to like what I think. Its a debate forum isn't it?
  19. Can't believe bbc viewing figures a high. Watching some of it anchored by that truly dreadful Balding woman is enough to reach for the remote.
