  1. Get over yourself! Anyway the reserve heats favour Coventry tonight. The best we can hope for is a 3-3 in the two heats, and the chances are one of Roynon or Bellego will pop out in front of Bjarne. Up to our heat leaders to beat KK, Harris and King. Easier said than done. Then its Bates and Barker against Kurtz and Buck. Home track advantage gives Coventry the edge. Should be very close as always when Poole go to Brandon.
  2. It never works like that. When was the last time Poole had a thumping away win? Ellis Perks is not going to get near a point. Bjarne is nowhere near the rider he once was. On Wednesday he scored well but against who? He looked slow and tentative to be honest. Can see Bates and Barker giving him serious problems. This is going to be extremely close. 4 points in it.
  3. Great to see the swc is looking like its going to be a sellout on both nights. Could well be people turning up on the night and not getting in.
  4. Perks for Newman will cost Poole quite a lot of points. Newman is excellent around Brandon. Bjarne looks very sluggish. Going to be very close.
  5. What might be worth considering here is that Poole didn't intentially go into last nights meeting set to break the rules. Matt Ford originally had this meeting penned in for last night. Then Sky wanted it moved to the live meeting on Monday. No problem. Matt agreed. So Ellis said, well as Wednesday is now free, I can ride at Marmande. No problem. Everyone happy. Then Sky decide on Coventry V Kings Lynn rather than the Poole v Lakeside meeting. Rather than ride on the Monday when crowds would be lower, Poole now revert back to race night. But hang on, Ellis has signed a contract to ride in France. Not Ellis fault the as date was free. Not Pooles fault Sky changed their mind on the fixture. So Poole can feel, through no fault of their own, Sky have cost Ellis a ride through chopping fixtures. In such regard Poole should have been allowed an edr to replace Ellis. The SCB didn't say no and allowed it, probably in the interests of the sport.(turned a blind eye) However Cook waited and then put in a complaint on the use of Wright, which through the rule book he won. One can argue the rights and wrongs but Poole were not so much guilty of cheating but more the victim of Sky and changing circumstances. Cook just exploited the situation to his favour at the last minute.
  6. Poor opposition poor meeting. Track was smooth but the track staff seem too afraid to put water on it after overwatering against Belle Vue. Going around with a hosenis not good enough. We could see it was underwatered when the riders were doing their practise lap. Not an entertaining meeting at all. A few good races when Stark missed the gate but the worst meeting at Poole this season. As for the inbalance at reserve, Bjarne didn't look convincing at all. Slow and unsure would be how I would sum him up. Against better reserves he will be beaten. Nasty crash by AJ on bend three when Hans passed him up the inside. Went cartwheeling. Tried to close a gap too late and Hans was already there. Clipped Hans and went spinning. As usual in these situations the rider on the inside is the one to go. Glad he wasn't hurt although it was no suprise he missed the rerun. Three points in the bag and now onto a much tougher test on Friday. Hard to see who we can use other than Wright.
  7. Bad bad crash aj Hans came from last to second aj on the third bend went cart wheeling. Sitting up. Now up hans exc. look like dryml in the GPs. Lucky to walk away. Hans looked passed him.
  8. Lakeside finally turn up. Been woefull until this heat where he gated and Jonsson looked after him. Rubbish meeting track underwatered dusty and very little racing excitement.
  9. We have had a 6 week break BECAUSE there isnt enough meetings. That is the whole point from Matt Ford. More meetings not less. To say if we have more meetings there's more chance of a rainoff is just silly. Why not have no meetings so we won't have any rainoffs? We need many more meetings. Riders will not be flying in out in out as the racing should be on consecutive nights. Teams ride home every week and away the next day, or day before. 30 odd meetings is not enough. Thats only 15 at home.
  10. Kyle loves it around Brandon and scores very well indeed. Impossible to replace. Reckon there will be no more than 4 in it either way.
  11. Both last night and at Swindon the whole Coventry management and team came over as a complete joke. Let hurry up and finsh so we can go down the chippy, to riders pulling faves on Sky at Swindon behind the interview. They need their heads smacking together by the bspa and told to act professionally.
  12. Will be a much closer meeting all the way through on Friday than tonight. Poole never go big away from home. But, we are stronger all round than Lynn. Should be a cracker. Just hope there's a crowd there to watch it.
  13. Sure did. Didn't think he stood a chance to be honest. That was farcical. Nah happy to be wrong.
  14. Thoroughly enjoyed that meeting. Loads of drama. A shame they forgot to open the gates for fans to come in.
  15. Nasty. Kings lynn chance now gone. Both up. No way Batchelor will keep these two out. Not riding anywhere near well enough. Dramatic meeting.
  16. Hilarious collapse by Kings Lynn. Batch and Schlien so weak. Think this could be the biggest comeback since Lazurus.
  17. Louis, "Havvy what are you gonna say to the guys after this start?" Havvy. "Er......."
  18. No you cant stand all the way around. Just behind the glass on the back straight not in front of it. There are no terraces in front if the back straight stand.
